Warning: This episode contains spoilers if no one has seen The Amazing Digital Circus. If you don't wish for spoilers to be revealed, please skip this episode.

Now the Smiling Critters know about The Amazing Digital Circus. The one CatNap and CraftyCorn had been geeking over so much.

It was the weekend, and everyone is free. The Smiling Critters are all in DogDay's house watching the pilot of the Amazing Digital Circus. They're slowly getting to know the characters a bit better. There's Caine the ringleader and his sidekick Bubble. Crafty told them Caine is an A.I. and the only one in the episode. The rest of the cast are humans though; well humans trapped in the digital world. There's Pomni the jester, Ragatha the ragdoll, Jax the rabbit, Gangle the mask with a ribbon body, Kinger as a king chess piece, and Zooble the misshaped. There is Kaufmo the clown, but he's abstracted. No one got to know Kaufmo's personality. That's pretty sad.

While watching, Picky, Crafty and DogDay are eating snacks and CatNap is taking a nap; resting his head on DogDay's shoulder. Everyone else watched quietly, and it was like that until the pilot ended. That lasted for twenty five minutes and forty five seconds. The critters applauded when the pilot ended.

"You guys were not kidding!" Bobby exclaimed. "The Amazing Digital Circus is amazing! Now I see why you guys like it."

Bubba gave the critters uneasy glances. "But is no one going to talk about Pomni going through those red doors in a maze of office rooms?" he asked. "That was disturbing."

"But it was funny as heck!" Kickin cut in. "There were funny moments with Caine and Bubble that are funny."

"And cute too!" Crafty complimented. "The dinner scene is cute!"

Kickin shrugs. "Well, at least now I know why you guys said DogDay reminds you guys of Caine."

"Hey!" DogDay shouted in defence.

"Well DogDay," Hoppy spoke up before a fight broke out. "He isn't wrong. You are the leader of the Smiling Critters and Caine is the ringmaster of that digital circus. I can see the resemblance."

"If it makes you feel better," Crafty chimed in. "I've had many thoughts about this. I see Kickin as Jax, Bubba as Kinger, Bobby as Ragatha, and I can even see CatNap as Kaufmo before he abstracted. Hold on there! I'll draw him out." She opens up her sketchbook and starts drawing.

Hoppy and Picky nodded. They can agree to what Crafty said, but then thought who would be Zooble and Gangle. Kickin scoffed and rolled his eyes and Bubba shook his head.

"I disagree to that." Bubba said. "Kinger doesn't seem like the logical kind of guy like myself."

"But you're more...taller compared to the rest of us." Hoppy pointed out.

"By a bit!" Bobby added.

"Moving on!" Crafty shouted as she looked up from her drawing. "There is one thing I'm curious though; who would be Gangle and Zooble?"

Everyone went silent as they pondered for an answers. With almost all the spots taken in their minds, all that's left are Hoppy and Picky. Crafty does have ideas though.

Picky could be Gangle and Hoppy could be Zooble.

Picky does have the same sad face and tone as Gangle's sad mask and whenever Hoppy is in a bad mood she sounds just like Zooble. That would be perfect!

Would Picky and Hoppy agree to this though?

Just as that thought crossed her mind, Crafty had put her pencil down. "Done!" she exclaimed proudly. "Hey everyone, come look at this."

The critters gathered around and saw CraftyCorn's drawing of Kaufmo. She drew him exactly like the cardboard from the theme song. His face is white with clown makeup and his huge smiling lips are red. He has what looks like a party hat on and a clown outfit that looks like a onesie that's yellow with orange buttons. The clown also has white gloves and orange shoes.

"That's what Kaufmo looked like before he abstracted." Crafty said.

"Man, he looks so friendly." Picky sighed. "It's so sad he has to go. Just imagine him still being part of the circus trope."

Crafty didn't say anything else. Her eyes slowly widened as an idea had popped into her head.

"Wait! I got it! Let's find out ourselves right now!" Crafty exclaimed.

Everyone turned to Crafty in confusion.

"Why don't we dress up at the characters from the Amazing Digital Circus and show them around the valley?" Crafty asked. "The views on the pilot are HUGE! In fact, what if some critters we haven't met before go crazy? What I mean to say is we should do an Amazing Digital Circus cosplay. It'll be fun."

"That sounds like fun, but there are no costumes in stores with the characters." Bubba pointed out.

Crafty smirked. "Then we'll have to go to beauty stores and find fabric to make the costumes, and I know just who's going to be who."

Everyone then nodded in agreement. "Alright, we're in." DogDay spoke for everyone.

Crafty beamed in delight. "Perfect!" she squealed. "Then we should get all the supplies and start working on the costumes. Wake up CatNap and let's go!"

The critters stood up and left the house. DogDay paused and turned to the still sleeping CatNap. He tiptoed to CatNap and gently tapped his face.

"CatNap. CatNap." DogDay called softly. He sighed with a smile and picked up CatNap; taking him with him.

Later on at Crafty's house the critters are wearing the costumes while Crafty is finishing up with the last costume; Zooble. DogDay is dressed up as Caine, Crafty is already dressed up as Pomni, Bobby is dressed as Ragatha, Kickin is dressed as Jax, Picky is dressed as Gangle (despite Picky's protests), Bubba is dressed as Kinger, and CatNap (now awake) is dressed as Kaufmo before he abstracted. The only critter left without a costume yet is Hoppy.

Crafty turned off her sowing machine and held up the fabric to reveal the Zooble outfit. "Done!" she exclaimed proudly.

"And I have to wear that?" Hoppy asked in a sour tone.

Crafty nodded. "Yeah." she answered.

"But I don't even sound like Zooble!" Hoppy complained.

The boys of the group glanced at each other and shook their heads. Does this need to be elaborated more?

"Your tone proves it." Crafty pointed out.

Hoppy groaned and took the costume. "Thanks. I'm going to change." she grumbled as she stormed off to the bathroom.

"Yep, she fits Zooble perfectly." Bobby said; breaking the silence.

The critters waited until Hoppy is in her costume and ready to go. It took a minute for the costume to get on, and Hoppy exit the bathroom still glaring at the others.

"You look great!" Bobby beamed with her thumbs up.

Hoppy rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Yeah yeah, [RABBIT SNEEZE SOUND] you guys. Let's just get this over with." she grumbled as she headed towards the elevator.

Everyone stood still in shock. They had never heard Hoppy swear before. The Smiling Critters group is a very friendly group and they never allowed swearing in the group; never.

"Well that was rude." Kickin commented.

"M-Maybe we should get going too." Bobby chimed in. Everyone nodded to that and started making towards the elevator. Bobby pressed the call button to go down. The critters waited for a bit until the doors opened. They stepped inside and CatNap pressed the down button - as he is closest to the button - and the doors closed.

"Oh by the way CatNap," Kickin chimed in. "I may have left something in your house before we brought you over to DogDay's, so let me know if you find it." He turned to CatNap with a smug smile. "You're not afraid of cucumbers are you?"

Everyone gasped as CatNap's fur and tail shot up as he froze in terror. DogDay glared at Kickin and bared his teeth into a growl.

"Kickin!" DogDay shouted. "That is CatNap's only fear. Why would you do this?"

Kickin chuckled. "What?" he asked with a shrug. "It could be an unrelated question. You never know until it's too late."

The elevator doors opened and the critters stepped out to where Hoppy is waiting for them.

"Well, let's head off." Kickin said whistling as he strut past the others.

The others following him; exiting the house. They walked down the street while looking around to see if there's any attention they could catch. CatNap was nervous about all the attention. Sure he likes the friend group and he doesn't have a lot of clients as a sleep therapist, but attention from a simple cosplay would be too much to bear. The cat's mind began to race over the worst outcomes and scenarios of a panic attack happening.

He was snapped out of those thoughts when DogDay put a hand on his shoulder. CatNap gasped and turned to the dog.

"It's okay." DogDay whispered reassuringly with a smile. CatNap smiled back and put his own hand on top of DogDay's.

Meanwhile out on a restaurant porch a penguin and sheep are eating some burgers, fries, and drinking sodas as well as talking. The sheep critter is talking about new clothing trends to try out and the penguin is glancing towards a corgi dog drinking a cup of coffee while reading a book; the wind making her hair blow gracefully.

'She's so pretty.' the penguin thought. He started smelling her hair too. 'Smells like orange blossom.'

His eyes widened as he glanced away from the corgi towards something else. There are eight more critters walking around dressed up as characters from his favorite show The Amazing Digital Circus. He quickly stood up from his seat and pointed at them.

"JAX!" he shouted.

The critters eating lunch turned to the penguin in confusion. The sheep looked at him with confusion as well but with a bit of annoyance.

"Peggy, we're in public." he pointed out. "Everyone is staring at us."

"NO! JAX! LOOK OVER THERE!" the penguin - Peggy Penguin - shouted and pointing continuously at the cosplaying critters.

Everyone then turned to the direction Peggy was pointing and immediately started going crazy. The corgi who was reading the book tossed it away.

"OH MY GOD!" she screamed in excitement. "THEY'RE DRESSED UP AS CHARACTERS FROM THE AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS! OH MY GOSH I LOVE THAT SHOW! LET'S GO OVER THERE EVERYONE!"

Every critter eating took out their wallets and laid their money on their tables before leaving the restaurant porch; hurrying to go gather around the cosplaying critters. Peggy frowned as he realized something; he might've lost a chance he never had to begin with with the corgi critter.

The sheep put a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry Peggy, you'll have a shot with Cara." the sheep encouraged. "Now let's go meet those COSPLAYERS!" He then ran off.

Peggy chuckled. "You got it CozyFair." He then took out his own money and left to catch up with his friend.

The Smiling Critters kept walking, but paused when a crowd started to gather around them. They started asking questions and pressuring the critters to do impressions.

"Well how about that?" Bubba asked. "We got a crowd around us."

"My my, it looks like we've got a crowd around us!" DogDay exclaimed in his best Caine impression. "Let's show them what we've got."

The critters split up while the huge crowd dispersed into small crowds for each critter. CatNap however stood paralyzed on the spot. He opened his mouth a bit, but couldn't get any words out. He felt like his heart was beating 300 miles per hour.

He then blurted out something that made everyone stop.

"EXIT!"

His crowd of people stopped peer pressuring him and stared at him in confusion.

"Exit?" Cara asked. She's part of the crowd.

"Isn't there an exit to the circus?" CatNap rambled. "Hasn't anyone even thought of trying to find a way out?"

"He's...rambling about an exit?" another critter asked.

"That sounds like Kaufmo before he abstracted." Cara nodded. "At least that's what I learned from the pilot."

"It's not a joke, I'm serious!" CatNap continued. "There's an exit hidden in the circus somewhere and I've got to find a way out; back to the human world."

The rest of the critters stopped getting into character as they watched CatNap ramble in concern. Well, all but Crafty. She knew what CatNap was doing; same with the separate crowds watching.

"What is CatNap even doing right now?" Kickin whispered to no one in particular.

"You don't know dude?" Peggy asked. "You're literally dressed as Jax, but if you must know; your purple friend is rambling about some exit like Kaufmo did before Pomni came in. I've seen the pilot. Right before Kaufmo abstracted."

"Oh yeah that's right!" CozyFair realized. "Kaufmo abstracted."

"Well no one's going to abstract yet!" DogDay piped up in his Caine impression. "If he was, these people would've told me." That got his audience's attention back to him.

"You guys got into this!" Crafty shouted towards her friends. "Don't break character!" She then turned back to her audience. "Umm, s-sorry about that. I guess...Kaufmo is close to...what Caine just said." She made her eye twitch a bit a give herself a small smile at the corners of her mouth. She did remember seeing Pomni look crazy at the end of the pilot.

The LARPing continued until evening. All the Smiling Critters have made their character impressions successful. Bubba acted kind of crazy and forgetful, Hoppy is still miserable, Kickin is still sounding laidback, carefree and sarcastic, Crafty is acting scared and paranoid, Picky mostly acted sad with her sad Gangle mask on, CatNap is still rambling endlessly about an exit, Bobby is still acting sweet no matter what, and DogDay is still acting like a ringmaster with still his best Caine impression. The crowd slowly dispersed until every single critter left completely. Everyone heaved out a sigh of relief.

"That was crazy." Bubba breathed out. "I had to keep acting like I'm forgetful."

"Well, this is something we'll remember." Bobby chimed in. "I had a blast. We should do this again."

Everyone agreed to Bobby's idea, but CatNap shook his head and took off his party hat.

"N-No, I'll pass next time." CatNap muttered. "I'll just keep watching the pilot at home until the next episode comes out."

DogDay and Crafty gave CatNap reassuring smiles. "At least you tried." Crafty chimed in. "You may not think of any bad jokes, but you did act like you were about to abstract."

"Why don't you give yourself some time and you can feel confident to LARP again?" DogDay offered.

CatNap shook his head. "Thanks but no thanks." He then yawned. "I'm tired."

The purple cat was surprised when he felt DogDay lift him up and sling him over his shoulder. "Here buddy, I'll take you home." the orange dog offered. "It's about time we head home for the evening too." He then turns to the other critters. "See you guys tomorrow?"

The critters gave DogDay good responses; indicating they will see him tomorrow, and started to make their way back down to their neighborhood for their own dinner and settle down for the evening.
