It has been two weeks since the Romeo and Juliet play, and the six Smiling Critters haven't seen CatNap and DogDay during this time. Aside from being busy with their jobs and hobbies, whenever they decided to hang out outside for activity or adventure or when they request DogDay for a sleepover at his house; DogDay and CatNap never showed up to those hangouts nor did DogDay respond the requests for sleepovers.

The day after the play, the critters had no idea why they wouldn't come out of their houses to hang out until they remembered the kissing scene.

The critters all had amused reactions. Instead of being broken up about not getting that kiss, Crafty was a lot more motivated to draw now. She even drew more drawings than she usually drew. She even got paid a lot more money from Bobby (for the bear's shipping shrine). She even posted her CatNap loves DogDay pictures on social media and it got more favorites and comments than her previous pictures. Every time she finishes a drawing, she squeals in excitement and delight.

Speaking of Bobby, whenever she doesn't hang out with the other critters; she spends her time in her house's basement working on her brand new shipping shrine. The red bear calls her new shipping shrine "SleepyDay". Compared to her last ship, the SleepyDay ship has been getting its art faster. There were a lot of artists available to draw the ship and send them to Bobby so she could hang them up on the empty portrait frames. All the while Bobby has been squealing in excitement at the progress of her new shipping shrine. Of course she would never tell that to her friends still.

Bubba Bubbaphant has written down rough ideas for boys' love plays for the theatre course he's now taking in college after the success Romeo and Juliet had, and it was with the shock ending. In his imagination he would continuously ask DogDay and CatNap to take part in those plays, and the best part is he would ask them to play in the MAJOR roles. Bubba smiled every time those thoughts came up.

Whenever they get the chance, Hoppy and Kickin would split up and repeatedly knock on DogDay's and CatNap's doors and all the while teasing them about the kiss. They would even laugh during their teasing. They usually don't get a response from either CatNap or DogDay. Either they are ignoring the chicken and rabbit critters successfully or are just trying to ignore them and not open their doors.

PickyPiggy has a bit of Bobby Bearhug in her thanks to hanging out with the love bear herself and has started finding ways to force DogDay and CatNap because it's convenient. Her force may have something to do with weapons. She's thinking about ordering guns specifically; or pistols actually, but she's never acted upon it. Not yet anyways.

Today isn't a hangout day. The sky outside the valley is grey and every critter is inside their houses. It is a Saturday, so luckily for them they don't have work today. Then again, if there's anywhere else other critters can go to; it's their own friends' house either by themselves or with a friend group.

That's what one critter is doing at CatNap's house. Not one of the Smiling Critters; more like a supervisor/friend of CatNap's.

"REALLY?!" that supervisor/friend exclaimed in shock. This shock was actually a happy kind.

CatNap nervously shushed his friend. "Snowflake, calm down." he whispered.

"But CatNap, don't you see what you did that day?" Snowflake Cat asked in excitement. "You and DogDay kissed!"

Meanwhile in Kickin's chicken coop Kickin, Bubba and CozyFair are on either their laptops or phones. Bubba's writing an assignment for his class while Kickin and CozyFair are on what Bubba guesses to be Wattpad. He's seen Kickin on the app on his phone in one of DogDay's sleepovers before. As far as he can tell, Kickin never wrote any stories. Then again, what kind of creativity would be in Kickin's head?

Bubba heard a shriek and he turned towards the noise. "Did you guys hear that?" he asked the other two critters.

"There's a disturbance." Kickin said ominously. "Should we go check on CatNap?"

CozyFair snickered. "Sure CUPID." he sneered. "Maybe bring DogDay too for that kiss again." He snorted as he tried to hold back his laughter.

"No! Never mind." Kickin groaned and attempted to cover his face in embarrassment.

Bubba smirked as he turned to Kickin. "Are you sure?' he asked in a teasing tone. "You've COMPLETELY missed out on that kissing scene, and it was even better than the original scene. It. Was. Gold!"

"No thanks!" Kickin clucked nervously. "I'll just stick to reading fanfics about myself and the others." The chicken then covered his beak realizing what he just said.

"Wait what?" CozyFair asked. "Isn't that kind of weird man? I mean, reading other critters' fanfics about you guys? And I thought that was Crafty's thing." The sheep muttered that last part to himself.

"Oh cool it 'CozyCritter079' on Wattpad." Bubba remarked as he turned to CozyFair. "You've got a reading list of all the 'SleepyDay' ships as Bobby would call them. And yes, that's what she calls this new 'ship'. Don't ask."

CozyFair's face flushed with embarrassment. "For the last time, that isn't my account!" he defended.

"Oh, interesting." Kickin said with a smirk; embarrassment replaced with snarkiness. "Your browser history says otherwise."

"BUBBA!" Kickin shouted as he started chasing a laughing Bubba out of the house while CozyFair is still in the coop having a hard time breathing from laughing too hard.

Back in CatNap's house the two cats continued the conversation. Snowflake shook her head; seeming much calmer than earlier.

"I can be calm about this, but I can't guarantee about the other critters." she pointed out. "That does explain why you thought it was either a chicken named Kickin Chicken or a rabbit named Hoppy Hopscotch at the door when I was the one who told you I'm coming over."

"Oh...uh..." CatNap trailed off. She was right. He did think either Kickin or Hoppy would be at the door knocking and teasing him about the kiss he had with DogDay; even though that was never meant to happen. They are supposed to be just friends after all.

"Look," the purple cat spoke after gathering his words. "I don't understand why you're so riled up about this. It's not like me and DogDay are actually...boyfriends. We just got caught in Kickin's shenanigans at the end of the play. Kickin did something that made the kiss go the way it is."

Snowflake scoffed. "That's the problem there CatNap. You and DogDay haven't even started going out on dates." she claimed.

"What?" CatNap asked in surprise.

"CatNap, if DogDay's going to make a move on you; then he's going to have to date you." Snowflake explained grabbing CatNap's shoulders.

CatNap let out a scoff. "Excuse me?" he asked in offense. "Snowflake, that's not how love works. You can't just force critters in a relationship just because of a minor inconvenience."

'I wouldn't say that.' Snowflake thought with a smirk as she raised a paw and protracted her claws.

CatNap drew a step back as he looked at the claws in bewilderment. "S-Snowflake? What are you doing with those claws? What are you going to do?" the purple cat asked nervously.

Snowflake didn't say anything at first. She made her way towards the elevator, then turns back to CatNap. "To force DogDay to date you because of a minor inconvenience." she finally answered as she pressed the button and the elevator door opened. Snowflake stepped inside, but before she could press the ground floor button; CatNap called out her name and quickly entered the elevator.

On the way to DogDay's house Snowflake was simply non her way to get there with sharp claws and a look of force on her face. CatNap rushed in front of her and held her wrists; making the white cat stop in her tracks.

"Snowflake, stop!" CatNap demanded. "Since when are you some matchmaker?"

"Well, since we became friends and also as your supervisor at work I made a duty to make sure you and my other employees are happy." Snowflake admitted.

CatNap chuckled at Snowflake's confession. He was at least glad that Snowflake is there for him when he needed her. "Snowflake, what you're doing is really...thoughtful yes." he complimented. "But you're trying to force something that shouldn't be forced nor happen." He had a feeling Bobby might do this too, but he didn't mention it. He didn't want to compare Bobby and Snowflake.

"What do you mean?" Snowflake asked. "DogDay kissed you, and you kissed him back. That means you love each other, right?"

"Well, you didn't let me finish before you stormed off to the elevator." CatNap said. "DogDay and I are just friends, and we will continue like that and keep things casual; just to see where things go from there. We're not in a romantic relationship or anything like that and honestly we just like to be best friends; that's it." He then looks down at his feet and spoke softly to himself. "There are some days when it's just me and DogDay hanging out without the other critters around."

Snowflake let out a short groan. "I just don't get it, but as long as you're happy." Snowflake sighed. "But I swear if your in a relationship with DogDay and he hurts you in any way-"

"Snowflake," CatNap interrupted. "calm down. DogDay and I are very mature. There's nothing relationship-wise we can't handle."

"Says the guy who watches psychological horror and gets spooked by it at first glance." Snowflake scoffs playfully. That actually did happen. CatNap had actually been spooked by the office backrooms scenes when he watched the pilot for the Amazing Digital Circus for the first time, and he mentioned this to his supervisor during lunch the next day. After watching the pilot many more times, CatNap had gotten over the fear.

This made CatNap's cheeks puff in a pout. "Snowflake, you..." CatNap hissed.

Snowflake laughed at CatNap before clearing her throat. "Fine." she admitted. "Maybe I just jumped to conclusions there. DogDay has been such a nice guy after all." Snowflake then retracted her claws.

"And you may be right about that or CatNap here is just denying it." another voice giggled.

CatNap and Snowflake both turned to see Frolic Froggy leaping towards them with the most excited smile ever seen. She squealed with joy upon seeing CatNap out of his house for once. CatNap groaned and rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"I had just finished delivering the last pizza when I overheard your conversation." Frolic Froggy admitted in a teasing tone. "Your denial is really cute CatNap."

CatNap's face now has a deep blush as he glared at the frog; ready to scratch her in the face at any given moment. Snowflake looked back and forth to CatNap and Frolic nervously and Frolic wasn't fazed by the purple cat's anger and instead just kept on giggling.

"Frolic." CatNap hissed.

Frolic kept on giggling. "What? You can't say that kiss was awful. There's got to be a spot in your heart that loves it." she pointed out, then took out her phone and scrolled down on something. As she scrolled, her eyes glanced up at the two cats. "In fact, that kiss went viral! Other critters are drawing art about you two hooking up. Take a look!" She showed her phone for CatNap and Snowflake to see the fan art.

Snowflake covered her mouth to stifle a teasing smile while CatNap was staring at Frolic's phone in horror. On the phone screen was indeed fan art of DogDay and CatNap as a couple. They were holding hands, confessing their feelings, going on dates, kissing, all the other things couples would do. There are even some inappropriate ones that aren't going to be mentioned.

"Wh-What the [MEOW] am I looking at?" CatNap asked stunned.

Frolic then put her phone away. "The consequences of your actions." she answered proudly, then grabbed his shoulders and brought herself close to his face. "And it's only going to get worse from here." she added ominously.

"O-Oh no." CatNap muttered to himself; shaking his head slightly.

Frolic then lets go of CatNap. "Well, I won't keep you guys." Frolic exclaimed. "I've got a shift to finish. Have a good day!" She then leaped away with excited squeals and laughter.

The two cats turned to the direction Frolic leaped away at. They didn't say anything. They were too stunned to say anything; CatNap having gotten the worst of it. The white cat turned to her friend and slowly starts to put a hand on his shoulder. She didn't want to risk doing this quickly to startle the poor purple cat out of his shock and scratch her with reflex.

"CatNap?" Snowflake asked in a hushed tone.

CatNap's eyes landed on Snowflake's approaching hand, then he shook his head; shaking the stun away. He then turned to Snowflake. "I...uh..." CatNap spoke, but was unable to form words.

Snowflake gave CatNap a gentle smile. "I know." she reassured him, then held onto her friend's paw and made circle motions with her thumb. "Do you want to go back to your place? I'll make us some tea. Oh, by the way; the Amazing Digital Circus has released their second episode."

CatNap beamed of both going back inside and watching the new episode of his favourite web show. He's been busy with the Romeo and Juliet play he missed out on the premiere of episode 2 of the Amazing Digital Circus.

"Can we have tuna popcorn while watching?" CatNap asked eagerly.

Snowflake nodded. "You bet! Now let's go!" she encouraged. "Hopefully soon the kissing scene excitement will die down and you and DogDay can keep continuing living your normal lives."

CatNap nodded slowly and the two cats walked back to the purple tower house. The purple cat hoped that would be the case. If trends did go viral like any other, then maybe the kissing scene the valley saw will eventually die down and the other critters would eventually move on to something else.

Throughout the cloudy day, the two cats took their minds off the kiss and watched the second episode of the Amazing Digital Circus; Candy Carrier Chaos. After that, they talked about the episode itself; the thought of Pomni abstracting but turned out to be a dream, the new characters, Gummigoo's existential crisis (Snowflake thought there was confusion between Gummigoo either a human or NPC, but CatNap confirmed he's an NPC), Caine killing Gummigoo (which they did not see coming), Pomni laughing as a response, and finally the sweetest moment at the end; Kaufmo's funeral. Not to mention Pomni realizing she isn't alone. Those two are the sweetest moments they've seen.

While talking, CatNap hoped that DogDay is going to be okay after that kiss. He dismissed it; thinking he should DogDay some time and he'll find out soon.
