Throughout the past three weeks, the six Smiling Critters haven't heard word from DogDay. They gathered inside Bubba's house to discuss having a search party for DogDay. At least that was Crafty's idea. The other five critters have different opinions about DogDay's absence.

"You have nothing to worry about Crafty." Bubba reassured her first. "Maybe he's out looking for a job?"

"Yeah." Hoppy agreed. "I know I'm still looking for a job myself."

"I already have an online business going still." Bobby said nervously with sweat staining on the forehead of her fur. "Still getting clients." She then chuckled nervously.

Kickin shrugged. "I'm still looking for jobs on my part and I've gotten used to everything around Critter Valley." he reported. "At least that weirdo purple cat was helpful on that part."

The other critters nodded. They've all met CatNap before three weeks earlier. Weird cat as first impressions.

The critters were still having a train of thought as to where DogDay is and what he's doing (while Crafty is still worried about him) when they heard fast repetitive knocks on the door.

"Hey guys, it's me! Open up!" an excited voice called out.

The six Smiling Critters beamed up. They could recognize the excited voice of DogDay anywhere.

"I'll get the door!" Crafty offered as she stood up quickly and hurried towards the door. She opened the door and there stood DogDay with his tail wagging so fast. "DogDay!" Crafty cheered excitedly.

"Crafty!" DogDay squealed out excitedly. "It's so good to see you again!"

"Yeah!" Cafty agreed. "Come on in. Everyone's been wondering where you've been."

DogDay was surprised at the news. "They are?" he asked as he entered the house. Crafty nodded eagerly.

Crafty dragged DogDay towards the others and they all started asking questions at the same time. DogDay attempted to settle his friends down and explain everything, but his attempts were cut off with more questions.

Crafty heard DogDay struggling to calm the other critters down and decided to take action.

"EVERYONE!" Crafty yelled; catching the other critters' attention as all questions ceased. "DogDay is trying to talk! Let him speak!" She turns to DogDay with a beaming smile. "Go ahead DogDay."

There was now silence as the critters waited for DogDay's announcement. Their leader then cleared his throat.

"Thanks Crafty. Now the reason why we haven't gotten together to hang out to do the usual activities, and I actually have good news to tell you guys." DogDay announced. "I've been looking for a new job lately, and I found a new job!"

The critters were happy to hear the news and congratulated DogDay for the accomplishment of getting a new job. Hoppy even asked what DogDay's new job is.

"Well, I work at an arcade in a plaza out of the neighborhood." DogDay answers. "What I do is I hand out cards with different amounts of credit for critters to play arcade games. I would hand out prizes if a critter wins tickets and fix up any arcade machines that are broken; as well as some cleaning. They pay pretty well."

Kickin clapped his hands in excitement. "That is so cool!" he exclaimed. "I gotta go to that arcade then!"

The rest of the critters congratulated DogDay on his new job. They even started considering getting jobs themselves. Good thing they've got experience back in their old town.

"But let's not worry about that right now." Bobby chimed in. "We should celebrate DogDay's success in getting a job."

"And I got just the place for it!" DogDay piped up. "I had already told an old friend about my success in getting a new job on the phone before I arrived here. We both organized a celebration at his house. Well; he was reluctant, but I told him that you guys could give him a chance."

"You've met an old friend?" Bubba asked out of interest. "What's he like?"

DogDay fiddled with his hands before answering. "Well, he's quite shy and isn't much of a talker; but once you get to know him and he gets to know you guys well enough he'll be more open."

"One of those kinds huh?" Picky asked. "We know Crafty was like one of those during high school when it comes to her art."

"Hey!" Crafty shouted in defense. "It was just as a teenage block I went through at the time. I'm more open to my art now and I'm not as shy as before."

"Still introverted though." Kickin commented.

Crafty only replied by blowing raspberries at Kickin.

DogDay looks at his watch. "In fact, we should head over to the house right now! Come on guys! Go go as fast as we can!" he urged as he hurried out of Bubba's house. The other critters looked at each other and ran out of the house to catch up with DogDay.

Meanwhile in CatNap's home CatNap is in bed asleep with no covers on him. He had to make sure his bed is neatened before DogDay brought the other critters along. CatNap was just taking an afternoon nap when his alarm on his phone went off. It looks like his afternoon nap is over. The purple cat groaned while slowly sitting up and looked at his phone tiredly. He blinked a few times before turning off his phone. CatNap swung his legs toward the edge of his bed.

That's when he heard his doorbell rang, and that dragged the cat out of his tired stupor.

"DogDay must be here already." CatNap whispered to himself.

CatNap sprang off his bed and hurried toward the elevator. He pressed the call button and the door opened. CatNap stepped inside, pressed the down button, and the doors closed. The elevator started moving down; taking CatNap with him. The purple cat yawned tiredly during the ride.

When he reached the ground floor to the front door, the elevator doors opened. CatNap stepped out and opened the door to be greeted by not just DogDay, but his friends he calls the Smiling Critters.

Everyone except DogDay stared at CatNap with widened eyes of realization and awkward silence. DogDay looked back and forth at each of his friends tensely before clearing his throat.

"Yyyyeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh..." DogDay dragged on awkwardly as he pointed at them to help them introduce each other.. "...so we're here CatNap. I brought everyone over. Since you probably didn't know their names, I can introduce them. Smiling Critters, this is CatNap. CatNap, this is the Smiling Critters; my friend group. This won't change anything about us. In fact, we would like to include you in as well."

"Mmmmm hmmmmm..." CatNap mumbled while nodding.

"Uhh, DogDay..." Bobby whispered with uncertainty. "We did meet CatNap before. He's a real creep. He said he watches people sleep. Who does that?"

DogDay hold up a hand to Bobby. "Bobby, it's fine." DogDay whispered. "Just give him a chance. You and the others just met him."

Bobby opened her mouth a bit to say more, but then decided against it.

"So, how about we go in yeah?" DogDay asked. "There's no party outside, but of course we can quickly set up everything outdoors instead? It is nice outside after all. Not a cloud in the sky." He looked up at the sky.

There really are no clouds up in the sky just as DogDay predicted.

The orange dog returned his attention to CatNap with a smile. The purple cat gave his old friend a feeble nod. "Mmmm hmmm. Come on in." he invited; stepping aside for the seven critters to enter. "Step into the elevator behind you."

The six critters looked at each other nervously before following DogDay inside the house and into the elevator. CatNap closed the door and entered the elevator as well. He pressed the "up" button and the doors closed.

The ride up is filled with awkward silence.

When the elevator doors opened once it reached the second floor, the Smiling Critters' jaws dropped. CatNap's house was amazing; like it has an outer space aesthetic. It's mostly moons and stars on the wallpaper and a lilac carpeted floor. There are no planet decorations though; just moons and stars. Some stars even formed constellations.

To describe the furniture CatNap has; it's best to describe it as cozy. It would be something a vibe room would be.

"Wow!" Crafty breathed out. "The inside of the house is amazing!"

"Not bad." Kickin complimented; nodding. "I'll give you credit for the nice interior."

"Now that's an interior I would DIE to have!" Bobby exclaimed.

"How did you decorate your house like that?" Hoppy asked. "This one gets a 10 out of 10."

"Imagine just getting lost in space while lost in cooking." Picky squealed in excitement. "I'm sure the kitchen is just as space-like, right?"

"I listen to Lofi music whenever I do research on anything I want to, and this room would seem like the perfect research spot!" Bubba chimed in.

"CatNap, the entire interior of the house is incredible!" DogDay exclaimed. "This is something none of us has done before."

CatNap smiled as he blushed at the compliments from the critters. At least that's a start.

"W-Well, now that you mention food...uhh...Picky..." CatNap chimed in nervously. "I do indeed have snacks in the kitchen for the celebration. I hope they're for everyone's liking. I try."

"Now that you mention it I am kind of hungry." Kickin said.

"But it's three in the afternoon." Picky pointed out.

"So what?" Kickin asked. "I can still be hungry. Now come on ladies, let's get some grub." He starts strutting off towards the kitchen, but paused and turned to CatNap. "Hey sleep therapist, which way's the kitchen?"

CatNap pointed straight. "You're going in the right direction." CatNap answered. "Just keep going straight."

Kickin nodded. "Cool. Thanks." He continued strutting off.

The other critters just stared at him trying to process what he just called everyone; especially the guys. 'Ladies?' they all thought.

They eventually did enter the kitchen and found a lot of snacks. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, fish crackers, all different kinds of cookies, chocolate cake, chips, soda, energy drinks and glasses of water.

Picky eyed the sandwiches as her friends started going crazy with the other snacks. Well, they're sure to be careful with their diets of course. Picky would normally scold her friends for eating all this junk food; especially CatNap for even setting up junk food for everyone to eat, but maybe she would...after she takes a PB&J sandwich of course.

Picky grabbed three sandwiches at least and walked away from the kitchen. She had found herself in the living room with two one seat couches, a long couch and a large TV. She looked around. Since no one is in the living room yet, might as well eat these sandwiches now. So Picky found a seat on one of the one seat couches and started stuffing her sandwiches one by one in her mouth.

She didn't even worry about any potential messes she would've made on the nice purple couch.

Meanwhile Kickin, Bubba and Bobby are gathering up a few of the snacks to take to the living room. DogDay, Hoppy, CatNap and Crafty watched while they're at it. CatNap suggested they watch some TV in the living room, but Hoppy scoffed and suggested they play board games. That made CatNap feel nervous about other people going into his room; he even felt a bit embarrassed about it.

"How about both?!" DogDay exclaimed. "If some of us don't want to watch TV, we can play board games!"

"That sounds like a great idea!" Crafty exclaimed.

"I'll...I'll go get the board games then." CatNap volunteered. "They're in my r-room." He then walked off towards his room.

Crafty and DogDay watched him leave, then Crafty turned to her canine friend. "I'll go follow him." she whispered before walking towards CatNap.

Upon reaching his room, CatNap closed his door and stared at his shelf consisting of different board games and a jester plush. CatNap has gotten a lot of board games and played them with his brothers and DogDay all the time when he was a small kitten. He gathered up games like "The Game of Life", "Monopoly", "Pictionary", "Jenga", "Sorry", and "Operation". He picked up a card game called "Uno", but not just any Uno game; but it's "Uno Flip". CatNap paused and stared at the jester plush.

That's what CatNap is embarrassed about. He's been watching a webseries when he first moved in and doesn't know if anyone else loves that show.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a knock on the door. CatNap snapped out of his gaze and hurried to answer the door. To his surprise, it was Crafty.

"H-Hey Crafty." CatNap greeted nervously. "I...I found some b-board games."

Crafty smiled. "That's great. Seven games it looks like!" she exclaimed. "I'm sure the others would love them. Need I warn you though; Bubba is a pro at...hey, IS THAT POMNI?!" She glanced at the game shelf away from CatNap and then returned her attention back to him.

CatNap turned to the jester plush behind him in surprise, then turned back to Crafty. "Yeah, it is Pomni. How did you know?" he asked.

Crafty didn't answer. Instead she squealed in excitement at seeing the plush.

CatNap smirked. "Why don't we take this inside hm?" he offered. "I have plenty more of that where that came from."

Crafty entered his room and CatNap closed the door. The unicorn stared at the Pomni plushie in excitement before turning to CatNap. "Are you a fan of the Amazing Digital Circus?!" she asked.

CatNap nodded. "I am!" he answered. "I've been a fan ever since the pilot first came out. My favorite character is Pomni. I feel like I can kind of relate to her. I'm kind of...paranoid?"

Crafty shook her head. "I wouldn't say you're paranoid CatNap." Crafty pointed out. "You're just shy, but that's also Pomni's trait in this one. I know because I've seen the pilot 37 times."

"43." CatNap chimed in, then pointed to the wall next to his bed. "I even got a poster up."

"Since you've told me who's your favorite Digital Circus character, I'll share mine. It's Caine!" Crafty squealed.

CatNap nodded. "I love the interactions with Caine and Bubble. They're still in my head to this day."

Meanwhile after some time the six critters are sitting in the living room in silence still waiting for CatNap and Crafty.

"Should we go check on Crafty and CatNap to make sure they're okay?" Bubba asked. "They've been gone for a while."

Bobby nodded. "Might as well..." she trailed off.

The other critters nodded and left the living room. They walked towards the hall down to CatNap's room when they heard what sounded a bit like circus music on the other side of the door.

"Wait, what is going on in there?" Kickin asked.

"You even have the theme song?" they heard Crafty asked in excitement.

"I do. I actually listen to the entire soundtrack from the pilot." they heard CatNap answer.

"Wait, Crafty's in CatNap's room with CatNap?" Bubba asked in disbelief.

"CatNap, I'm really glad you've shown me all this stuff!" Crafty continued. "Have you shown this side to DogDay before?"

"I haven't." CatNap answered. "I don't think he knows about this show."

DogDay held up a hand to stop everyone; even though they hadn't moved. "Let's keep calm everyone." he advised. "We can't assume things."

"If I had to say anything about personalities," CatNap continued. "I'd say DogDay would be great as Caine and Kickin would be great as Jax."

"I can definitely see DogDay as Caine." Crafty agreed. "They both have the same spike."

"Okay, now I want to know what's going on!" Bubba snapped and barged into CatNap's room. "What are you two doing in here?" He then paused and saw Crafty and CatNap staring at him in confusion. Crafty is holding the Pomni plush. "Uhh..." The others followed inside.

Crafty sighed. "Let me guess; you guys were listening through the door?" she asked.

"Yeah." everyone grumbled in shame.

"And you thought CatNap was showing something awful, didn't you?'

"Maybe?"

Crafty sighed. "I'm gonna head off to the bathroom." she said and turned to CatNap handing him back his Pomni plush. "Excuse me CatNap. I'll be right back." She then left CatNap's room to the bathroom.

CatNap crossed his arms and smirked. "You guys are just...hilarious." he commented.

"Did you set this whole thing up?" Hoppy asked in an accusing tone.

CatNap shook his head. "No, I didn't. Zooble!"

He chuckled as everyone was confused as to what CatNap just called Hoppy. It seems like aside from CatNap and Crafty, the Smiling Critters have no idea what the Amazing Digital Circus is. At least CatNap and Crafty can show them.

That is actually how CatNap is now in the Smiling Critters group. It took a lot of apologies while CatNap has been laidback and carefree, but he's now a part of the friend group.

A/N: That's another episode done, and we get to see a bit of Amazing Digital Circus stuff. What happened is that I've been watching the pilot to the Amazing Digital Circus a lot lately. What I can tell you is that my favorite character is Caine. In fact, that would be PERFECT for the next episode of Smiling Critters. The Smiling Critters cosplay as the Amazing Digital Circus characters. Here's what I'm thinking:

I love the ideas you have for your Smiling Critters OCs. It actually stands out because this comment not only shows one OC, but four. These are very interesting characters.
