(Ash POV)

I heard a crash in the other room while I was watching Froakie. Pikachu and I jumped when we heard it.

"What was that, something must be wrong".

I was about to leave so wee what was going on when I than saw Froakie woke up from resting and then looked at me to see what was going on. It then got out of the dome it was in and started following me.

"No Froakie you need to stay and rest, you're still hurt from the Dark Pule you took then fighting team rocket".

"Froak Froakie", it said sounding fine and ready to battle even though it was still hurt.

"I know you want to fight but you need to...."

"Froakie", it yelled at me before I could say anything else. It was then clear to me that it did not care about his injuries and wanted to help with whatever is going on. I sighed and said.

"Ok you win you can come but don't push yourself".

The frog Pokémon then got on my other shoulder that Pikachu was not on and we were then on our way to the other room and see what is happening.

(Normal POV)

"Gar... Garrr....", the Garchomp said in pain while reacting to the collar that just got attached to him by the Meowth. It was now attacking everything in the lab and the pokemon that was living there. The group just stood there and watched in horror as the Garchomp was destroying everything.

"This is horrible we got to get that collar off of him", said Clemont "Go Bunnelby". He then throw his pokeball and released a bunny like pokemon that looked ready to battle.

"We will help out to go Fennekin", Serena said as she released the fox pokemon from her pokeball.

"Bunnelby use mudshot on the collar"

"Oh no you don't use shadow ball", Jessie said.

"Cover his with ember", Serena said.

The ember was able to stop the shadow ball from hitting Bunnelby, but that did not stop James.

" Inkay use Psybeam".

The Psybeam intercepted the mudshot but the explosion from the attack startled Garchomp and was now acting even more wild.

"Meowth can you control that this", Jessie yelled.

"Calm down I'm on it", it said as he pulled out a remote and started messing with it.

"Quick Fennekin use ember on the remote", Serena said.

The fox pokemon unleashed an ember attack at the remote causing the Meowth to drop it and breaking the remote.

"NOOOO you fool do you realized what you done", Meowth said.

"Ya I stopped your....", Serena started to say when she then saw that Garchomp was growing even more wild and started unleashing random hyper beams.

"No Garchomp is even worse now", said Sycamore.

"Pumpkaboo use Dark Pules to snap that Garchomp back to its sinces"

The Dark Pules was charged then was released and hit the Garchomp, however that only made matters worse. Without thinking Serena then ran up to Garchomp and tried to reason with it.

"Please Garchomp this isn't you, you need to..." but out of nowhere the Garchomp saw her coming and thought she was a threat. He then went towards Serena and grabbed her with both of his arms and started blasting everything with hyper beam.

"AHHHH let me go", Serena yelled.

But it was no good and the Garchomp then made another hole in the wall and stormed out of the holes with Serena still in its arms and now was causing a rampage in Lumiose city.

"Hay get back here where not done with you yet", the three rocket member said as they started chasing the Garchomp.

"No Serena", Bonnie said worried about her. " Big Bro we need to save her".

"Right "Bunnelby return" Clemont said as he returned his Pokémon to its pokeball. "Fennekin you should stay here it's too dangerous if you came with us".

"Fenn", the fox pokemon said sounding very worried about her trainsers safety.

"Don't worry we will save her", Clemont said.

"I will call officer Jenny and let her know", Said Sycamore.

As Clemont and Bonnie left to go after Serena and Garchomp, Sycamore was about to call Jenny when he saw Ash with Pikachu and Froakie on his shoulders".

"Ash something terrible just happened", Sycamore said "There was two people with a Red R on their shirt and a talking Meowth that showed up and...."

"That's team rocket, they just attacked you"?, Ash asked.

"Yes they did, they also put some kind of collar on the Garchomp we have here in the lab and it went wild, it took Serena and took off into Lumiose city".

"It what, wait who's Serena", Ash asked.

"Actually that can wait, where are they now"

" There heading down town, they are probably going towards prism tower", Sycamore said.

"Got it,ready Pikachu and Froakie".

"Pika"

"Froakie"

"Ok let's go", Ash said as he then ran out the front door to stop the Garchomp from destroying the city and to save this girl named Serena. Serena... that name seems familiar to Ash, but why?

(Ash POV)

I'm running towards prism tower and saw a bunch of destroyed cars and damaged building. I figured that Garchomp came through here so I must be on the right track. Prism tower is just in my sights and I then see a large crowd at the bottom on the tower.

"What are those people doing here"?

I then look up and see Garchomp on one of the levels of the tower shooting random hyper beam into the sky. There was a news helicopter in the sky and was seeing everything that was going on. The hyper beam almost shot the helicopter down, but luckily they got out of the way.

"Phew that was close", I thought to myself.

I then looked up at Garchomp and it was now climbing the tower even more. But before it when out of sight I saw something, or someone, in Charchomp's arms as he was ascending the tower.

"AHHHH SOME ONE HELP ME!!!!!!", the person said.

"That must be Serena, we need to save them". I said to Pikachu and Froakie. Just then I saw a boy in a blue jump suit and a little girl running to the base of the tower.

"What are they doing"

I then followed them and saw that there was a secret door at the base. They were hacking the door trying to get in.

"What are you doing"?, I yelled to them while running up to them

"Stay back, we're here to save Serena", the boy said to me. "You need to go you can get hurt and....", he stopped talking and noticed the Pikachu and Froakie on my shoulders.

"Wait, Pikachu and a Froakie", he said then came to a realization. "Are you... you must be Ash".

"Your Ash" the little girl said to me.

"Ya how do you know me"?

"Professor Sycamore told us about you and what you did to save Froakie", the boy said. "You are quite the trainer to do something like...", he started to say before another Hyper beam just been launched at another building across the street from the top of the tower.

"No time to explain I need to get up there".

"Right", he said to me. "And I have just the thing to get us in; the future is now thanks to science". Suddenly a robotic arm came out of the boy's back pack and started hacking the door. In just a few seconds the door open and the robotic arm went back into his back pack.

"Wow that's amazing"

"Ya I have to admit I'm pretty good at these kinds of things", the boy said to me.

"Right lets go". I was the first one in because I was running. The other two was about to come in when all of a sudden the tower shook from the hyper beam that was lunched from the top of the tower. The tower shook so much that rubble was falling from the top of the tower and blocked the entrance I just came in to.

"We can't get in it's blocked", the little girl said.

"Don't worry I'll go ahead and save Serena you two find another way in"

"Right", they both said.

I started climbing up the tower to get to Garchomp and Serena.

"Don't worry Garchomp and Serena I'm comingto save you".

(Serena POV)

"Someone help me"

That was all I was able to yell. As the Garchomp was still unleashing hyper beams at buildings and the helicopter in the sky it still had a tight grip on me and I was unable to get free.

"Garchomp stop your destroying everything". I tried to reason with it but still no good.

I closed my eyes and I thought to myself what it was all over for me, I thought all of Lumiose city would be destroyed, I thought my time as a trainer is over and I just started. I never got to spend any time with my Fennekin. I never got the chance to travel all over Kalos. But worse of all I never got the chance to see that boy from the lab. Ash.... That thought stayed in my head the whole time. I really wanted to see him again, if it was him. But now everything was now going to be.........

"Serena", I heard someone yelled.

I then opened my eyes and saw someone coming towards me. The sun was behind him so I couldn't see that well to see who it was. Then a two Pokémon jumped on the figures shoulders and ran up to me. It was a Pikachu and a Froakie . WAIT, Pikachu Froakie could it be?

As the figure came closer I became more clear to see who it was. It was a boy around my age with raven black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue shirt and jeans. He was mildly tan and was wearing a hat with a Pokémon symbol on it. Wait, black hair, brown eyes, mildly tan skin, was it who I think it is.

"Ash"?

"I'm here Serena, I'm going to save you", Ash said to me.

"Froakie" "Pikachu", the two Pokémon said to me as they were going to help Ash

It him it's really him after all this time I got to see him again. I would run up to him and giving a big hug, but now is not a good time since I'm still restrained by Garchomp.

"Garchomp you got to calm down", Ash said to Garchomp.

Garchomp then looked at Ash and thought he was a threat. He then unleashed a hyper beam at Ash. He quickly jumped to his right and got out of the way of the attack.

"ASH", I yelled nervous for his safety.

"I'm fine Serena don't worry", he said to me as he got back up. "I got to get rid of that collar how"?

All of a sudden Froakie jumped into the air and threw its frubales at the Garchomps feet to keep it in place.

"Good thinking Froakie", Ash said to the Froakie. "I'm sorry to do this Garchomp but I have to get that collar off,... but first", Ash then turned to Pikachu. "Quick use iron tail on Garchomps arms and free Serena".

The Pikachu then sprinted towards me and Garchomp with its tail glowing white. It then jumped into the air and swung its tail at Garchomps arm. Garchomp roared in pain as he let go if me as I landed on the ground. I then ran up to Ash and gave him the biggest hug I ever gave anyone in my whole life. I almost knocked Ash off balanced when I hugged him

"Ash, thank you so much I was so terrified", I said with tears coming out of my eyes.

"Won't worry Serena it's ok now.... Wait Serena move", He said.

"Huh". I turned around and saw Garchomp was about to unleashed another hyper beam at us. The hyper beam hit the ground in front of us and the explosion of the attack knocked us off balanced and landed on the ground on the edge of the tower.

Suddenly the ground below me collapsed and I was now falling of prism tower.

"AHHHHHHHHH", I screamed at the top of my lungs as I was falling.

"SERENA", Ash yelled as he ran and jumped off the tower leaving Pikachu, Froakie, and Garchomp at the top of the tower and was coming towards me.

"Help me Ash help" I screamed. He then was falling faster towards me and grabbed me in his arms. I found myself blushing as Ash held me in his arms as we were falling straight to the ground.

"Don't worry Serena I got you", he said to me. I was now blushing even more than before. I don't know why but I feel safe now that Ash was with me and everything was going to turn out alright.

"GO CHARIZARD", he yelled. Just then a giant fire dragon like Pokémon came out of his pokeballs and was flying next to us. The Charizard then got under us and caught both me and Ash on his back and was flying us to safety. I then notice the position I was in, my arms where around Ash's chest as we were riding on his Charizard back to the ground. I was now blushing even more, like a knight in shining armor has just saved the princess from the tower. I could stay in this position forever, but all good things must some to an end.

Charizard landed on the ground and let me and Ash off of his back.

"Are you ok Serena"?, He asked me.

"I am now, thank you again Ash", I said still hugging him.

"Good now wait here, I'll be back".

"What"? I said in confusion.

"Pikachu and Froakie are still up there with Garchomp I have to go back for them", He said while getting back on Charizard.

"No Ash please don't go", I said in fear. " It's too dangerous just stay here with me".

He then turn and looked at me and said.

"Don't worry I'll be fine". And like that he was in the air in his Charizard and was heading back to the top of the tower. I just stood there as I watched him going higher and higher into the air. It was increasable to see what Ash is doing; he is now even more amazing then when I saw him back when we were kids.

"Serena", I heard from behind me.

I turned around and saw Clemont, Bonnie, and professor Sycamore running up to me.

"Serena your safe we were all worried about you, I'm glad you're safe", Sycamore said.

"Thank you but don't worry I'm fine".

Bonnie then looked up and saw Ash and Charizard flying back to the top.

"Is that Ash", Bonnie asked.

"Yes he is, he's the one who saved me".

"Wow he is so amazing", Clemont and Bonnie said.

"Ya he is", I then looked up at Ash and Charizard as they were all ready at the top.

"Please be safe", I thought to myself with my hand at my heart.

(Ash POV)

I just got back to the top of the tower and saw Garchomp trying to attack Pikachu and Froakie with its hyper beam.

"I'm back guy and I ready to stop Garchomp".

"Pika" "Fro", they said at the same time.

"Charizard grab hold of Garchomp". My Charizard then landed behind Garchomp and has holding it down. Garchomp was trying to break free but my Charizard had him down tight.

"All right Pikachu use Iron Tail on the collar". Pikachu then jumped into the air and slashed the collar with its glowing white tail. The collar then broke into two pieces and the glowing red in Garchomp's eyes then returned to normal.

"Garr", it said as Charizard released him and fell to its knees.

"That must as hurt, don't worry help is on the way". I said to Garchomp as I was standing next to is trying to comfort it.

"Here you are Garchomp", said a voice.

"Huh", I looked up and saw a Meowth hot are balloon with none other than team rocket standing inside the basket.

"You guys again don't you ever give up".

"We can say the same thing about you, now if you don't mind we'll take that Garchomp and Pikachu of yours and be on our way", James said.

"As if!!!"

"Fine we'll do this the hard way Pumpkaboo use Shadow Ball". The pumpkin Pokémon unleashed a powerful shadow ball at us and Pikachu, Froakie, and Garchomp was too tired to move.

"Charizard use flame..."

Suddenly a focus blast came out of no were and intercepted the shadow ball.

"Huh", I looked up and I saw none other than Lucas with his Smeargle on one side and a Gallade on his other side.

"Lucas"?

"Hey Ash, glade you can make it". He said to me.

"You again, you're going to pay for getting in our way Inkay use Pysbeam", James said.

"Gallade dodge". The Gallade suddenly in a blink of an eye got out of the way of Psybeam and was standing some were else on the tower. Man that was fast.

"Gallade use Focus Blast again", the Gallade then unleashed a focus blast at the balloon but then Wobbuffet got into the way.

"Use mirror coat", Jessie said. The Wobbuffet then started to glow with an aurora light ready to bounce the attack back.

"Not this time, Smeargle use disable", Lucas said.

Smeargles eyes were now glowing red as the Wobbuffet stopped glowing and started to get worried.

"What"?!?!, Jessie said. " Wobbuffet why did you stop...". Before Jessie could finish the focus blast hit the balloon and everyone in it. They were now on the ground of their basket dazed from the attack with all there Pokémon dazed from the attack as well.

"Let's finish them off Pikachu use Thunderbolt".

"Pikachuuuuuuuuuuuuuu", the electric mouse Pokémon said unleashing a powerful bolt of electricity at the balloon. The explosion from the attack then sent them flying into the air.

"We're blasting off again", they yelled as they flew into the air and out of sight. Lucas just stood there as he saw team rocket just got away from them.

"No they're gone", he said.

"Sorry Lucas it's just that....."

"No don't worry about Ash at least Lumiose city and Garchomp is fine". He said to me as he walked over to Garchomp.

"Smeargle use Heal Pules". The Smeargle was then unleashing a aurora like beam from its hands and it looked like it was healing Garchomp.

"Wow how did you...."

"Ash, I can do a lot of things", he said to me. I then looked over at his Gallade and saw he was wearing a belt with a stone in the middle.

"Hey Lucas, what's that".

"Sorry Ash but that is a secret".

"Oh... so why were you so interested in stopping team rocket", I asked him.

"Sorry but that's also a secret, but let's just say it's part of my job to stop people like them".

"Why can't you tell me".

"Ash there some things about me that needs to be a secret, but maybe in time I can tell you", Lucas said.

"Will I be able to see you again"?

"I'm sure you will, but now I have to go take care Ash".

"What Lucas don't......". But just like that his Smeargle used teleport and Lucas, Smeargle, and Gallade just disappeared.

I then just look out from the top of prism tower and saw how big and bountiful Lumiose city looked at night.

"Wow my first day in Kalos and this just happened". But after what I been though today I feel like I can accomplish anything. But then I thought of something.

"What..... that news helicopter saw everything that happened so....... I'm on TV" I said to my self.

"Pika pi" Pikachu said from my shoulders nodding.

"Wow...... I have a lot of explaining to do when I get down from here".
