"I miss Madison, I should call Madison." I say.

"Are kidding me?" Iris asks.

"Get up, we're going to a party and we're going to find you somebody else. Or not, either way you're coming." Iris says.

"Why did I agree to make a song about a blobfish?" I ask.

"Why didn't someone stop me?" I ask.

"You agreed because you needed money to buy more American Girl dolls, you're obsessed. Get up." Iris says.

"Fine. Only because you hate when I ignore you." I say.

30 minutes later...

"Is that Y/n?" Iris asks.

"Don't-" I say.

"Y/n!" Iris shouts.

"Fuck." I mumble as Y/n looks up.

"Long time no see." Y/n says smiling.

"Olivia?" Y/n asks.

"It's, uh, good to see you." Y/n says.

"I remember the last time you guys hung out. It was like a romance movie. Y/n was moving and you were spending the whole day together." Iris says.

"Well, I remember it a completely different way." I say.

"Y/n!" Y/n's dad calls.

"I guess it's time for you to go." I say.

"Yeah..." Y/n says.

"I know we're kind of like friends with benefits, but I don't just want to be that. I want to be more. I know you're moving up state but we can do long distance." I say.

"I know I'm a hand full too, but I love you." I say.

"Y/n!" Y/n's dad calls as Y/n stares at me.

Y/n slowly backs away from me and turns around to walk away.

"Oh... whatever that means. Where's the alcohol?" Iris says.

"The kitchen." Y/n says.

"Cool." Iris says walking away.

"Look, I'm sorry." Y/n says.

"Sorry? It's been 3 years and now you're sorry?" I ask.

"How the fuck was I supposed to tell you? You blocked me." Y/n says.

"You could've called Iris or my parents." I say.

"Can we just talk about this?" She asks.

"We're talking about it right now." I say.

"I did have feelings for you and I still do. I get a little shocked when my best friend that I was casually sleeping with tells me that she loves me. I'm 15, I don't know what to do." She says.

"Now I'm going to do the same thing you did to me." I say walking away.

"I'll wait for you." She says.

This has to be the best and worse day of my life. I find the love of my life at a party on one of the worst days in my life. However, it just so happens to be the person that broke my heart.

I still love dating and part of me just wants to go over there and kiss her.

"You have a pretty large house. How can you afford this?" I say.

"I stream on Twitch and I have two roommates that do too. I guess everyone got bored and start watching whatever that could during the pandemic." She says.

"Here." She says handing me a cup of coffee.

"Thanks." I say.

"What are we now?" Y/n asks as I sit at the kitchen island.

"You're not my girlfriend." I say

I laugh and Y/n smiles.

"Well?" Y/n asks.

"Depends on what my mom says." I say.
