Thirty-Seven

"So you really don't care about people seeing the proof that you're a bully?" Hanbin asks Yoojoon. "You're in that video too... beating up Zhang Hao. You don't care that some people who still believed in your innocence will realize you're actually a bully?"

"I don't care. My life is ruined anyway because of that stupid video you posted of me getting beaten up by you on the NotAlone account. You made me admit I was a bully, so what do you mean the people who still believe in my innocence? Everyone already knows what I did, so I have nothing to lose by posting this video." He tells Hanbin. "But on the other hand, everyone will see how pathetic Zhang Hao is. How embarrassing would it be for him?" He laughs. "He thinks hanging out with the popular guys in this school will make him cool, but he will always be a loser."

Hanbin's blood boils, but he tries to stay calm. He knows this is a trap so that his father will realize Yoojoon is telling the truth. "I won't fall for your trap, Yoojoon. Post the stupid video of me admitting I'm behind the account, but leave Zhang Hao out of this. He never even stood up against you to defend himself. I was the one who did everything, so why are you taking it out on him? Seriously, get a life. Why do you hate him so much?"

"Because ever since he came into my school, he ruined my life! He'd always get the number one rank and my father would make me study even more to beat him! My father was always comparing me to him! He ruined my life, so I'm ruining his."

"If we really think about it, the real villain in this story is your father, not Zhang Hao like you're making it seem. You're pathetic for taking it out on him. How could you be so miserable and want to ruin his life when he did nothing to you? He's smart, was he supposed to just let you have the number one rank? Oh, right. I had forgotten that you're so pathetic that you threatened him to get answers wrong so he'd drop ranks and you'd get the number one spot."

"Don't test me, Sung Hanbin. I could just post both of the videos right now."

Zhang Hao waits impatiently outside of the room. He didn't think it'd take this long for them to talk. He's been pacing back and forth, a little nervous as to what's happening inside. He can kind of see them. It seems like Hanbin and Yoojoon are talking.

Zhang Hao sighs. What could they be talking about? He knows Hanbin and he sees the worried look on his face. He's really tempted to just walk into the room. After a few minutes, they both come out and Hanbin quickly takes Hao's hand, trying to get him out of here before Yoojoon can come outside.

"What happened?" Zhang Hao asks him and stops walking.

"Nothing, let's go." Hanbin tries walking away with Zhang Hao, but Hao stops.

"What did you say to Hanbin?" He asks Yoojoon. "What did you do?"

"Wow, you really have been getting so brave." Yoojoon tells him. "That's how you should've been before."

"Hao, let's just go." Hanbin tries reaching for his hand, but Hao pulls his hand away.

"What were you talking about right now?" Hao asks Yoojoon. By the way Hanbin is acting, it seems like it's something serious and Hanbin probably wouldn't tell him about it.

"Can't your boyfriend tell you?" Yoojoon asks him. "Or do you not trust each other enough?"

"Don't talk about things you know nothing about." Hanbin glares at him. "Zhang Hao, come on." He takes his hand and is finally able to walk away with him.

"Hanbin, what happened?"

"Hao, you should've asked me instead of waiting for him."

"Okay, but are you going to tell me what you two talked about? You look as if you just saw a ghost. Please tell me what's going on."

"Okay, but not here." Hanbin tells him and they walk out of the school. "The good news is that my dad believed me. Yoojoon is getting suspended for a few days."

"Just suspended?" Zhang Hao asks in disbelief.

"Yeah, but at least we won't have to see him for a few days."

"Okay, that's the good news, but what's the bad news?" Zhang Hao asks, worriedly.

"He has a video of you getting beaten up by him and his friends. He's threatening to post it if I don't break up with you."

Zhang Hao can't believe what he's hearing right now. He knew Yoojoon was horrible, but he's so horrible that he'd post a video exposing himself as a bully, just to embarrass Zhang Hao?

Zhang Hao sighs and feels his eyes watering. He doesn't understand why Yoojoon hates him so much. "If that video gets posted, it'll be embarrassing for me for a while..." He starts. "But I'd rather be embarrassed for a few days, than to be heartbroken because I can't be with you."

"Hao, I'll try to get him to delete the video somehow. Maybe there's another way we can convince him not to post it. What if this is just a trap to get us to break up? Do you really think he'd post a video exposing himself as a bully?"

"Honestly, I don't know." Zhang Hao shakes his head. "I can see he's capable of anything just to ruin my life."

"I didn't want to tell you this since I'm not sure how you'll react." Hanbin looks down. "But he also has proof that I'm behind the NotAlone account. He threatened me and said he'd post both of the videos if I didn't do what he said."

Zhang Hao's hands turn to fists when he sees Yoojoon walk out of the school. He may not have defended himself when he was getting bullied, but he will never let anyone harm the person he loves.

Zhang Hao immediately rushes towards Yoojoon and Hanbin's eyes widen. "Zhang Hao, what are you doing?" Hanbin tries catching up to him.

"I can't believe you're that sick in the head!" Zhang Hao yells at him. "Post the video of you bullying me! Post it right now!"

"Since you're asking so nicely." Yoojoon smirks and takes his phone out. "But I changed my mind. Actually, I realized that if I post the proof Hanbin's NotAlone, you two will be ruined. Hanbin might even go to jail, who knows." He shrugs. "And then you'll be heartbroken."

"Are you stupid or do you pretend to be?" Zhang Hao asks him, angrily. "How you had the number one rank in our school will always be a mystery to me. Even though I let you have it, you were still second place without my help, but how? Did your father help you, perhaps? He covered up your bullying, so nothing surprises me anymore... But I can't believe you have the audacity to be saying all of this right now. Do you not feel bad for what you've done? Not even a little? I can't believe you think Hanbin's going to jail when you're still walking around like nothing happened. You actually almost beat me to death. All Hanbin did to you was give you a few punches and you're out here crying?"

"Who says I'm crying about it, Zhang Hao? I just hate both of you and the fact that both of you somehow ended up together made it even worse." He tells him. "But okay, you two don't want to break up? I have something else you could do." He tells Hanbin. "Tell everyone who you really are and I won't post the videos. You tell them yourself or I'll have to do it for you."

Zhang Hao snatches Yoojoon's phone away and throws  it to the ground before stomping on it, breaking it to pieces.

"What have you done?!" Yoojoon yells at him. He hadn't had the chance to save the videos anywhere else. "What's your problem?!" He grabs Zhang Hao by the collar of his shirt.

"Yoojoon, you better leave him alone while I'm talking nicely." Hanbin warns him and takes his arm cast off since there's no reason to pretend anymore. "So get your filthy hands off of him." He grabs Yoojoon's arm.

"What's going on here?!" Zhang Hao turns around to see all the F5 members and his friends.

"Your stupid friend just broke my phone!" Yoojoon yells. "That's what happened!"

"Be lucky he didn't break your face." Ricky tells him. "He's not the same Zhang Hao you used to bully."

"Yeah, I have no idea how he's able to stand in the same room with you after everything you've put him through." Jiwoong tells him. "So if I was you, I'd be terrified of him."

"Yeah, Hao can be really scary when he's mad." Taerae nods. "So don't test his patience."

"I'd never be pathetic enough to be scared of this pushover." Yoojoon tells them.

"Well, since you're not scared of him, you should be scared of us. There's nine of us now." Jiwoong tells him. "If I was you, I'd start getting homeschooled by now. You're all alone. I can see even your two friends left you."

Yoojoon's hands turn to fists. "I won't let this slide. You're all going to regret it." He threatens them before walking away from them, as other students boo at him.

"What did he want now?" Gyuvin asks Hanbin.

"I'll tell you guys everything." Hanbin tells him. "There's something some of you don't know."

-

Hanbin feels way better now that all his group of friends know he's behind the NotAlone account along with Ricky and Taerae. He and Zhang Hao just arrived at his house after going to Hanbin's parents house to get his things. He can't believe he'll be living with Zhang Hao now. Well, until he gets some money and finds another place to live.

"You can stay here as much time as you want." Zhang Hao tells him. "I talked to my mom and she said she's completely okay with it."

"Yeah, but I wouldn't want to be a burden if I stay for too long. I think it's best if I find a job and look for another place to live."

"You'd never be a burden, Hanbin... But if that's what you want." Zhang Hao nods. "You can take your time, though."

"I'm still not sure what job to get though."

"Well, you're really smart. I'm sure a lot of people would want you to tutor them." Zhang Hao tells him. "Also, when I'd go to your house, you'd make me coffee. I think you'd be a good barista."

"Wait, really?" Hanbin asks him, thinking about it. "Maybe that'd be a good idea. Since it's the weekend, I'll go look for a job tomorrow. Hopefully a cafe is hiring."

"Yeah, I've been wanting to look for a job too."

"Wait, what if we get a job together?" Hanbin asks him.

"I'm not as good as you at making coffee though."

"Don't worry, I'll teach you." Hanbin kisses his cheek. "By the way... with everything going on, I had forgotten to tell you that I can tutor you. I know you've been really worried about your rank. I can help you."

"Really? You'd do that?" Zhang Hao smiles.

"Of course." Hanbin nods. "I promise I'll be the best tutor. You might even end up getting the number one rank."

"Doubt it." Zhang Hao shakes his head. "I'd be happy with the number two rank as long as you keep your first rank."

"Also, I've noticed you've been standing up for yourself lately. I'm glad you're not scared of Yoojoon anymore."

"I just get so mad when he tries doing something to hurt you." Zhang Hao sighs. "I've noticed that I only get this angry when you're in danger. I first experienced this feeling when you were in the hospital after taking the drink Chanwoo spiked. I also felt that way when I saw the bruises on your face the other day. I had never felt this way..." Zhang Hao takes a deep breath before continuing. "Anyway... I've realized something."

"What is it?" Hanbin asks, curiously. "Is everything okay?"

"I've realized that... I love you, Hanbin."
