"actually that's what we wanted to talk to you about" the man then pulled out a scroll which was held together by a light blue ribbon

"this...is an offical adoption scroll" he said softly as he looked at jingyi " altho we said we where gonna adopt you a-yi, the consent is entirely yours" he said as he handed the boy the scroll

"....wh-what am i supposed to do with it?" he ask nervously

"now i will tie my red ribbon onto you a-yi" he said so now the four of them stood in a circle conneted by four white gusu ribbons and one lan style red ribbon

"now what?" jingyi asked

" now you need to read out the scroll to us a-yi and fill out the spaces that needs information" lan zhan told him as he did that

"turn around lan zhan so a-yuan can tie yours" wei ying said as lan wangji gave a-yuan his ribbon after untiying it off of their wrist

a-yuan tied it and kissed the end

"now lan zhan tie a-yuan's ribbon on"

lan wangji tied is oldest son's ribbion and kissed the end

a-yuan smiled as he took jingyi's ribbon and tied it on then kissed the end
