Chapter 4- Zora and rito.

Link (POV)

I woke up early in the morning so I could make Zelda some breakfast. I couldnt do much without a cooking pot so I made what I could. I made a hard boiled egg in the hot waters of the springs and then had some wild berry's on the side. I loved wild berry's. They tasted really good.

I woke her up after that with a smile. I handed her the plate "Oh thank you link... you are doing way too much for me though. You're my knight and friend. Not my chef!" I frowned and looked to the ground "Yea but... I WANT to..." I muttered. She smiled "Oh link you are just the cutest!" She said reaching out for the food. She froze though and I saw her face go red "Uh- uhm a-anyways thank you for the meal! And I will go die now..." she said muttering the last part. I smiled and laughed before sitting across from her. I took out a apple and ate it. It was good enough for now.

I opened the slate and took out two elixirs "Hm?" I guestured to Zelda with the potion. "Oh yes thank you link..." she said chugging the substance. I didnt know how she did that. It didn't taste very good. And it was chalky and sometimes has clumps of dead lizard or monster parts. I gagged just thinking about it

I drank mine reluctantly. After thinking about all of that I never wanted to have another one ever again.

We left a while after that. We decided next we would go to Zoras domain since it was closest. Zelda chattered on about how excited she was to see sidon again and king dorphan. I smiled and listened to her voice. After I remembered all of my memories I basically remembered my whole life before the calamity. I remembered how Zelda meant the world to me. She helped me through the burden that was placed on me and helped me learn to talk more. I honestly didn't really like talking... except with her. Still ill remain quiet.

We got there quite quickly and I placed mine and zeldas horses with a trusted guard. Zelda asked me to stay out here while she went in. I took this as an opportunity to get more ice arrows even though I didn't really need them.

I bought out his whole stock including regular arrows because they were there and they were cheap. After that I went over to a waterfall and sat down, letting my feet dangle in the water. I started to just think.

My eyes wandered until they rested on a big bird. Va Medoh. I thought of the coolest bird ever. Kass.

I missed all of his songs. Maybe when we go there next I can get him to sing me another one. Perhaps that one he's always practicing bit I never actually got to hear the full verse? I've always been curious about that one. He seemed very dedicated to it.

I brought out my sword because I was kinda bored with myself and I twittled around with it. I realized that I still had one more trial of the sword left to do. I decided I would talk with Zelda about going to pay a visit to the great deku tree.

I twirled my sword some more and before I knew it I had a cut on my finger "Thats what I get I guess..." I mutter putting my sword away. It didn't look too bad so I let it be.

About 2 minutes later Zelda came back happily "Oh link it went just splendidly! We seem to have the date ready for both of them so far! 3 weeks from now we will be starting to work on hyrule! And... oh my gosh link is your finger okay?!" She said stopping her happy rant. I looked down at my finger which was bleeding a lot more than I thought it would've. I put it in my mouth and brought out some bandages from my pocket and wrapped it up. I smiled and waited for her to continue. She awkwardly smiled and continued "And prince sidon offered to make blueprints for castle town!" I nodded smiling. She laughed a bit "So uh... what should we do now? Make our way to rito village? I think its closer than gerudo town..." I nodded at her and gestured over to our horses that were being fed some carrots. She smiled a bit but it seemed fake. I wondered why.

Before I got to my horse I decided to say hi to sidon. He was a good friend of mine. I thought of it as my duty to stay in touch with him because of Mipha. She meant much to both of us.

"Oh link! Marvelous to see you again! How are you doing on your travels of Zelda? She is speaking very highly of you!" I smiled and rubbed the back of my head "I'm not so sure thats true. I don't think I'm doing enough for her 'nd stuff..." I said. He looked at me bewildered "Thats not true at all! She in fact said you were doing too much." I smiled "Thanks for telling me. I'm gonna go now. I'll be back to visit you guys soon." "Farewell link. Be safe friend."

I got on my horse and patted her mane. Out 9f the corner of my eye I saw Zelda looking at me. I looked over at her and gave her a questioning look. She shook her head "Shall we be off?" I nodded and we started heading down the path towards rito village. It was still quite early in the day so we woulr make it there within an hour or two.

Zelda and me rode in silence. She seemed a bit tense. I decided to ask her about the sword trials. "Zelda?" She looked over at me "Oh! Y-yes link?" She said sounding a little relieved. "After we talk to everyone can we go to the great deku tree? I still have a sword trial i have to do." She frowned a bit but plastered a smile on her face "Yes yes of course... um link i have something to ask you... do you think me and you cou-" she was cut off with a slam on the ground followed with a hearty laugh.

Going into action, I did a back-lit off my horse slamming my sword on the yiga clan enemy. He stumbled backwards and I took that as an opening. I swung my sword around in a circle and lightning came down on the man. He teleported away while I picked up his droppings- 2 red rupees 1 blue rupees and a mighty banana. Zelda got off her horse rushing up to me "Oh my... are you alright?" I nodded. Yiga clan members were quite easy to defeat i just wanted to make it quick.

I reassured her that I was okay and wd got back on track. "So uh- what were you saying?" She shot upwards with red cheeks "Nothing important!" I looked at her confused and shrugged my shoulders focusing back on the road.

About 1 1/2 later we were at the stable near the village. Zelda wanted to go to the elder alone again so I hung around the stores stoking up on more arrows I didnt need. I also got some more stuff for fruitcake.

I hung out at revalies landing fittiling with the slate. I was organizing everything. From strongest to weakest for weapons.

Zelda finally finished and had a happy look on her face. "Oh this is going so well link! They said they would be ready in three weeks as well! All thatd left is the gerudo and of course your sword trials. This is your last one correct?" I nodded "Thats exciting! Now let's find a place for camping? Or should we stay at the stable?"

We ended up staying at the stable. I bought her a soft bed and me a regular. She deserved it more than me. We went through training again like last night. We kept on doing the same thing. It took time to become good at sword using.

At 12 pm we decided that was enough. I think she's ready to use a spear now. We got settled into bed and she smiled at me "Thanks so much link. You have no idea how good this is for me. Goodnight..." I smiled and gripped my chest "Goodnight m'lady..."

🙂 I have been posting a lot lately! I'm really bored half the time though so... but anyways have a good day night or whatever love you!🙂
