Jonah begins to act very strangely, causing concern for his friends, one more than the others.

Andi and Buffy were growing increasingly concerned. Jonah had been rather secretive around his friends during recent days. His attitude had changed and he was not sociable, even to the members of the Space Otters.

Cyrus had grown confused by the situation, he had never seen Jonah like this before. He really wanted to know what was going on.

He sat with the girls at lunch, and predicatively Jonah was the main topic of conversation.

Cyrus: What do you think is going on with Jonah?

Andi: I've never seen him act like this before.

Buffy: He changed so quickly from being cool to being introverted.

Cyrus: I really want to help him, I know I can do something.

Buffy: I know that Cyrus, but perhaps we should wait until he is ready to talk.

Andi: Maybe he just needs space for a while.

Cyrus: I'd like to agree, but I can't. I can tell he is going through a hard time. I need to find out so I can cheer him up.

Buffy spotted Jonah and pointed over to him. Andi and Cyrus looked and saw how sad Jonah was. There was no other option, Cyrus had to do something.

Cyrus: We're sorting this out now, come with me girls.

Reluctantly, they followed Cyrus over to Jonah. They noticed an empty classroom, so Cyrus grabbed Jonah's arm and dragged him there, the girls joining them. Andi and Buffy blocked the door so that Jonah couldn't leave.

Cyrus: What's going on Jonah?

Jonah: What are you talking about?

Cyrus: You have ignored us, you haven't spoken to anyone.

Jonah: So what Cyrus?

Cyrus: We know that something is going on Jonah. For a start, you usually call me Cy-guy.

Jonah: And you usually call me JoJo, Cyrus.

It was becoming a frustrating situation for all of them. They were no closer to the real reason that Jonah was avoiding them.

Andi: We're worried about you.

Buffy: Because we care.

Jonah: *sighs* That may be true, but you wouldn't understand.

Cyrus: Why would you say that? I'm sure we can support you, whatever you are going through.

Jonah: As much as I trust you all, I don't think I can tell you. I want it to stay a secret.

Just as the girls believed they were fighting a losing battle, Cyrus took the initiative in an effort to get to the bottom of the situation.

Cyrus: Would it make you feel any better if I tell you my secret?

Jonah: It may do, but I don't want you to share it if you aren't comfortable to. Don't do it just because of me.

Cyrus: Why don't we we say it together?

Jonah: But you'll hate me.

Cyrus: I would never hate you, you are my friend and I don't want to lose you.

Jonah was seriously considering Cyrus' offer to tell each other their secret. The only difference was that the girls already knew what Cyrus' secret was, but they had no idea about Jonah.

Jonah: Okay, I'll do it.

Cyrus: On the count of three. One... two... three.

They both took a deep breath in preparation for what was about to happen.

Cyrus & Jonah: I like you!

Andi and Buffy were dumbfounded by the revelation. They looked at the boys and saw that they were not the only ones. One thing the noticed was that both boys were blushing heavily.

Jonah: Wait, you like me?

Cyrus: It took me a long time to admit it to the girls, but I finally became comfortable with it a couple of weeks ago.

Jonah: Oh.

Cyrus: And how long have you liked me?

Jonah: For the longest time.

Cyrus: So you avoided me because of that?

Jonah: Yes, because I didn't want to make myself believe you'd ever feel the same way.

Cyrus: But I do.

Jonah: I know that now, but please understand that losing you, would destroy me.

Jonah began to tear up, allowing his emotions to take over. Cyrus wasted no time in hugging him, and the girls looked on with hope.

Cyrus: That won't happen, I would never stop liking you.

Jonah: So, do you maybe wanna hang out sometime?

Cyrus: I'd really like that.

Andi: I've never been so surprised before.

Buffy: Same here, but it's nice that it turned out happily.

Cyrus leaned his head against Jonah's shoulder. It was so comfortable and Jonah loved the feeling of being close to Cyrus.

Jonah: I want you to know that I... lo... lo-love you, Cy-guy.

Cyrus: I love you with all of my heart Jonah.

Andi & Buffy: Aww!

Cyrus gave his friends a friendly look before they all went to continue lunch together.
