Chapter Sixty Four

Chapter Sixty Four

"Stacey!"

Before I have time to find out where that voice came from, Stacey shoves me to the ground. Again. The pain that I tried so hard to ignore, explodes in my leg again, this time far worse. Letting out a cry of pain, I can feel the floor boards move as someone runs towards me.

"Mimi? Are you alright?"

"No," I groan, clutching at my ankle.

As if that will help.

"Stacey! How could you do that?"

Louis.

At the sound of Louis' voice, even if it is harsh sounding, I let out a sigh of relief. For some reason, just knowing that Louis is in the room sends a sense of calm spiraling down my spine. I know, it's crazy, but ever since the day I woke up, even before I realised that I had feelings for him, I've always felt calmer and safer when he's near.

"How could I do what Louis?"

Oh don't act all innocent Stacey.

"I heard what you said to her. I watched you slap her and then push her over. Don't act all innocent Stacey," he growls.

"Here Mim. Take this."

I look over to see Niall holding a glass of water and my tablet, which I gladly take from him. Quickly swallowing it, I let out a sigh before looking over at the 'lovely' bickering couple. What shocks me most is the look on Louis' face. The 'I'm going to kill you if you don't get out of here' look.

To say I'm shocked would be an understatement. Usually, Louis is so calm and lovey dovey. Long story but I think you understand. But usually he is very...what's the word, oh that's it. He's very laid back and he never gives anyone that 'I'm going to kill you if you don't get out of here' look unless you steal his carrots.

I did that once...

It didn't end very well, let's leave it there.

But the fact that he is giving that look to Stacey means one of two things. Either he's just really really mad that she talked to me like that and then slapped me or he still...No. I doubt that. If he still liked me, he never would have gotten with Stacey in the first place.

So that idea is out of the picture.

"I'm your girl friend! You're supposed to be in my side!"

I let a snicker out at the words leaving her mouth before turning to Niall, "I don't think she even has a chance at salvaging this relationship."

"I don't think there was ever a relationship there for her to try and salvage," Niall smirks.

"Damn straight Ni."

Cue high five.

"Stacey, it doesn't count when you walk up and slap one of my very best friends,"ouch, my heart. Right in the feels Lou, right in the feels, "On the face and then proceed to push her over. All of this after you threatened her!"

"I did nothing of the sort."

Liar!

"Don't lie to be Stacey."

"She's the one who said that she kissed you!"

How dare she? How dare she bring me into this conversation? Just because she was standing right behind me when I said that we kissed does not give her any right to bring me into the conversation.

Okay, maybe it does but I don't want to be a part of this.

"No no no. Don't bring me into this Stacey. This is your fight and your fault. Not mine," I say as I cross my arms.

"This wouldn't have started if you hadn't kissed him!" she shrieks.

"For starters, who said I kissed him and secondly Stacey, this wouldn't have started if you weren't so stuck up and protective of Louis. Who just so happens to be one of my best friends. I bet you have tonnes of guys that are your friends yet Louis doesn't tell them to stay away from you."

And it's true. Girls like Stacey have heaps of guy friends and they spend heaps of time with them even when they have a boy friend. But if their boy friend where to tell her to stay away from them, would she? Nope, she wouldn't but she would go to the guy and tell her to stay away from all his girl friends, in the non romantic way, she expects him to do exactly what she says.

Hypocritical? I think not.

Please, note the sarcasm.

"Stacey I've had enough. Just stop talking and listen to me. I don't even know why I ever started dating you to be honest. You aren't nice at all, you put on too much makeup and when you try to contour, yes I know that word because all you ever do is talk about makeup, it looks like you drew two lines down your cheeks!"

"Excuse me! That is not true!" she shrieks and I let out another snicker at her words.

It is so true. She literally looks like a pumpkin with two brown lines down her cheeks, a lot of red lipstick and very dark eyes with very uneven cat eyes that look like penguins. She tries so hard but fails so miserably to make her makeup look good.

And she said Harry's makeup was bad...

"It is Stacey and you know it! I mean, did you hear what you said to Mimi?"

"Of course I did," she says sassily while looking at her fake nails, "I mean, I was the one who was saying it."

"That's my point! Everybody, and I mean every single person in the world, knew how much it hurt me when Mimi went missing so getting her back was amazing for me. But the fact that you are trying to keep her away from me, I just can't deal with it."

"What are you saying?" she asks quietly.

If he is saying what I hope he's saying then I will literally throw a party tonight. The sooner he gets rid of her, the better. And I think the boys agree with me."

"It's over Stacey."

YAY!
