My POV

"RENGOKU-SAN!"

'What happened? Everything went too fast! I couldn't react! Rengoku didn't dodge? Everything happened In slow motion but I can't even move at all!'

I feel pinned on my spot. My feet feels too heavy to even lift. My whole body went tense and beads of sweat formed all around my forehead..

'THE DONUT MAKING HAPPENED TOO EARLY! WTF? NOW WHAT?!'

'Wait no. I can still save him. I forgot that I still have healing capabilities, Am I overreacting too much?.' I deadpan.

"Rengoku-san!" I heard tanjiro scream on top of his lungs as he lunged to get closer to our location, aiming to attack Akaza.

"You'll die! You'll end up dead Kyojuro! Become a demon! Say that you'll become a demon Kyojuro! You are a strong chosen one!" Akaza persuades once more.

His arm is still punctured through Rengoku and can't retract because Rengoku tensed his muscles to try and corner him. He took it as an opportunity to attack Akaza's neck with his sword.

With that, I did my best to relax my stiff body and went ahead to assist a certain hashira. Raising my weapon, I sliced an arm that was coming to attack the flame head man.

I can see Akaza grow a bit anxious because he's starting to become vulnerable by the coming minute.

Screams of battle raised between the two with Tanjiro unexpectedly joining along.

Tanjiro raised his sword to attack despite the cramps that he is feeling all over his body, but even before his sword got closer to cut Akaza, he came flying out in a split second by Akaza kicking him backwards.

"Tanjiro!" I yelled and jumped to his direction preventing his from slamming to the metal train head first.

"Tch" Akaza scoffed.

"Don't worry about us! just stay here please!" I worriedly glanced to him then  turned to Inosuke.. "Inosuke! Take care of your underling over here okay? Don't let him go in there!"

"UGH DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, I'M THE BOSS OK?! And I know that already! Just.." He paused. "JUST DON'T DIE! BOTH OF YOU!" He turned around with his arm crossed, huffing smokes out from his boar nose.

'AWWW, I can feel his aura emit nervousness and worry.. how cute! He's worried about us!'

I chuckled a bit for his behavior and said.

"Aye Aye captain!" I salute to him before quickly going back to the previous battle.

Rengoku was halfway to decapitating the pinkinette and Akaza is visibly frantic about it as he was trying to get out of his grip.

"I WON'T LET YOU GO!" Rengoku exclaimed.

"FUCKING MOVE!" Akaza exclaimed back.

'Bruh.. My poor ears'

"SHUSSHHHH! YOU'RE HURTING MY EARDRUMS!" I squeaked at him.

"JUST GO AWAY KID!" Akaza yells back.

'UH RUDE'

I thrust my weapon up to his rear and wait for the poison to leak to effectively immobilize him on the spot. It should start to leak for a few seconds or so.

"TAKE THAT! HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BECOME LIMP FOR A MOMENT?" I smirked behind him.

I knew that akaza had an Idea about severing his own arms just to get out from there but NAH. I won't let him get away with it.

I already gave him a chance to run away earlier but he decided against it, so all I can say for him is good luck getting out from this one. HEHEHEHEHEHEHE- AHEM!

WELL... My plan is looking pretty solid.. not until I heard the unexpected mumble coming from the pinkinette demon..

"Destructive Death: Leg Type: Explosive Flurry"

'O ShEeT- That definitely sounds bad..'

Everything played in slow motion as I notice Akaza moving his leg upward to deliver multiple kicks towards Rengoku.

Wait- RENGOKU?!

I forced my feet to move faster than your dad getting milk without coming back- I mean- faster than lightning just to save Rengoku from being kicked out and  getting more deathly injuries than he already has.

Akaza delivered a blow of flashing flurries of powerful kicks so fast that they create after-images, with each kick producing powerful shockwaves like his punches from before. We flew a few meters back from Akaza because of it.

Safe to say that Rengoku was not damaged by them and I managed to get all the destruction but Akaza got out of our grasp with torn arms and Kyojuro's sword that's stuck in his neck.

Akaza stood there with an unpleasant angered reaction plastered on his face, panting like there's no forever.

He turned to look at us, specifically at me.

"YOU..." He paused when he sensed something. It was the dawn, it was slightly visible above the mountains. "I pity both of you.. the flame hashira is about to die and you.. the demon who disobeyed that man's orders.. He will surely go after you sooner or later.. I'm truly disappointed by the both of you. Goodbye." He said before regenerating his arms and quickly fleeting in the forest.

Tanjiro is not having it and tried to follow Akaza to the forest and ya know.. he took his sword and threw them at Akaza , he threw insults that he can possibly spout at him while crying..

"AAAAAAAAAAA"

"Tanjiro-kun please quiet down.. my ear drums have suffered enough already.." I shushed him. He turned to me a bit conflicted with tears in his eyes. "I didn't know that you have the guts to throw multiple insults to someone hahahaha" I laughed.

"Huh?" He says.. confused on why I laughed at such a dramatic situation.

"You were right to say that we won.. No one will die here in my watch" I smiled at him.

Inosuke, who was almost crying looks at me like I was a strange alien or something..

"What do you mean? Renkoku got a hole in his chest.. he can't heal those" Inosuke reasoned.

"Yeah.. but he can now!" I replied

"How?"

"Shush! No more questions!"

"DID THE PINKY DEMON TURN HIM INTO A DEMON?!" He blabbered once more.

I turned my head away from him feeling like my head will never stop malfunctioning whenever I tried to talk to him.

"Rengoku-san! Are you still with us?" I asked him.

"Yes I am.. but I'm afraid that you cannot heal me at this rate.." He replies, still smiling weakly.

"HUH? WHAT?! WHY? ARE YOU NOT FEELING GOOD? I MEAN- I KNOW YOUR NOT BUT I DON'T SEE A WHY NOT FOR ME TO HEAL YOU" I quickly protested.

He chuckled a bit and put an arm on my shoulder gently tapping it.

"The sun is rising now.. you need to get inside or you'll disintegrate.. thank you for attempting to save me but I-"

"Oohhh! You're worried that I will disintegrate under the sun?? Don't worry Rengoku-san because I won't!.. For a few minutes at least.." I said as I interrupted his supposed speech.

"What?" He says shocked in the face.

"What?" I repeated while tilting my head

"You can survive under the sun?" He asks to clarify.

"Yeah.. for as long as twenty minutes!" I confirm him, smiling brightly. "Let's just get this going and just don't die for a few moments so I can heal you okay?"

Everyone sweat dropped for me not telling anyone in the corps about it.

"Phew, Finally! That took quite a pressure to activate!" I wiped my sweat that lingered on my forehead.

Tanjiro can finally breath, now that he can see Rengoku's donut hole is closing up rapidly.

"Look at that.. The flame hashira is literally in flames right now.." Zenitsu says while staring at the flaming man in front of him.

"HAHAHAHA! INDEED I AM!" Rengoku replied having his cheery energy back.

"He can even laugh like he never went through a near death experience a few moments ago.." One of the kakushi who got here earlier said under his breath.

"Yeah.. can't believe that he survived that.." the second kakushi says.

"Yeah.. I saw that there's a hole in his chest and the demon that can survive under the sun somehow healed him.. it sounds impossible right? But here they are infront of our own eyes." The third kakushi says.

They continued their gossiping regime and I just shrugged at how bad they are at keeping their voice down.

"I need to get to shade.. I've been exposed to the sun for Eighteen minutes now.." I informed Tanjiro.

"Oh! I'll ask for a kakushi to bring a box or a basket for you! Wait here.." He says and ran to where the kakushis are compiling.

Almost everything is settled down.. No one died and I am more than glad that Rengoku is safe..

"Nanami-chan I got this basket for you" Tanjiro said after he came back from talking to the kakushi.

"Okay! Lemme just shrink down.." I replied.

I turned to my normal appearance and got in the basket.. a black cloth was placed on top to block the sunlight completely from the outside.

With that, I slowly succumbed into deep slumber, trying to ignore the whole basket shaking with me in it.

(A: finally done with all the fighting and stuffs. Pretty tough to get through but I badly need to get used to it LOL)

A week has passed since the Mugen incident and the trio was now getting a beaten down by Rengoku.

Erm.. that's an odd way to put it but in another point of view, they were sparing with each other, it was a 1 vs 3 match and the trio was barely keeping up with the flame hashira.

"Control your breathing everyone! Sync up your movements with each other!" The flamehead instructs.

They've been sparing for about three hours now.. no wonder some of them are worn out.

Zenitsu is on the verge of passing out and Tanjiro is bathing with his own sweat. Inosuke however, is the most energetic out of them. You can still see that he's struggling to keep up with the hashira's fast and clean movements though.

"WAAAAHHH!! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE! WE CAN'T EVEN LAND A HIT ON HIM!" Zenitsu whined.

"STOP WHINING PISS HEAD! THE OWL MAN SAID THAT WE SHOULD SYNC OUR MOVEMENTS OR WHATEVER! SONJARO!  ARE YOU OKAY OVER THERE?!" Inosuke turned to Tanjiro who looks like a dried fish from all the fighting.

"I-I'm okay! Inosuke is right! Let's keep fighting! Hang in there for a bit, Zenitsu!" He said in a hoarse voice.

"HAHAHA! That's the spirit! Come on! try to land a hit on me! You can do it!" Rengoku encourages the three.

"RIGHT!" They yelled altogether and attacked the flamehead once more.

I just watched in amusement as I witnessed all of them get pummeled to the ground once again.

"Hmmm hmmm"

'Ohh it's Nezuko'

"Hmhiqhhwv" I tried to speak just to fail when I realized that I'm wearing a muzzle as well.

'oh yeah.. the stupid muzzle'

I sweat dropped.

I leaned to pat Nezuko's head which she gladly accepted as I cooed her like a baby.

'Soo Cuutteee! I could melt right here, right now!'

I stopped when I heard someone knocking at the door..

'Should I open it? This is Rengoku's estate though.. should I inform him first?'

'But he's busy sparing with the three..'

'Screw it.. I'll open it..'

I stood up and bolted to the main entrance of the estate to open the door and after I opened them, Surprised is even an understatement for what I am feeling right now..

Kagaya, Amane and their five children IS STANDING THERE.

'The WHOLE clan of the Ubuyashiki family is here?!?!'

'Uhh.. Uhh.. SAY SOMETHING!'

"Hmmfhjdfs?"

Everyone blinked and stared at me in bewilderment.

'OH SHEET WHAT WAS THAT?! THAT WAS SO EMBARRASSING!'

'STOOPID MUZZLE!'

'I SWEAR I MIGHT LOOK LIKE A STRAWBERRY RIGHT NOW!'

'GOOD THING I DIDN'T BURST INTO FLAMES LIKE THE OTHER TIME'

I hurriedly took off my muzzle to try and talk to them properly.

I tried to compose the last of my egos and calm myself down before I might accidentally set up in flames for real.

"Umm I greatly apologize for that.. Ahem- Greetings to the Ubuyashiki family! What brings you here? W-would you like to come in?" I offered and greeted them totally not sweating right now.

Oyakata-sama chuckled a bit at my remarks while I'm still a bit perplexed by the sudden visit.

"It's really nice to see you here my child, I hope you do not mind having us in this lovely day." He greeted back.

"I certainly do not mind! Please come in and make yourselves at home!" I opened the door widely so that they can come inside with ease.

"Thank you for having us"

"No problem! Please come sit first and feel cozy! I'll just go ahead to inform the others for everyone's appearance!" I replied and jolted to the backyard garden.

I saw everyone taking a break from all the work but nope! I decided that I will not be the only one who's gonna deal with the dear visitors for today.

I inhaled then..

"EVERYONE! OYAKATA-SAMA IS HERE WITH HIS FAMILY! PLEASE DRESS UP AND MEET THE MASTER!" I yelled out to them.

I saw Zenitsu stumble from the jumpscare and accidentally dive in the mini pond next to him. The other two who's standing near him got splashed by water.

"Pfft- HAHAHA- Ahem.. Sorry for the scare everyone! Hope ya doin fine!" I waved at them.

The trio including Rengoku was changing their clothes so I was left here serving tea and snacks to the whole family one by one.

I'm less than surprised when I saw the childrens behaving without their parents scolding them. Childrens usually tend to either be energetic or really timid, but they have a rather different kind of aura that you can compare to adults.

It's not than I'm complaining about it.. I'm just feeling a bit sorry that they were forced to grow up faster in mentality than most of the other kids in their age.

I just hope that they can enjoy more of their childhood now that their father is all healed up from the deathly curse that he involuntarily received.

We were in total silence, just the gentle pouring of the green tea is the noise that you can hear.

After I poured tea for all of them, just then the silence is broken by the sliding of the shoji door, revealing the one and only flame pillar with the stunning smile that everybody knows and sees.

"Good day to all of the members of the Ubuyashiki family! I hope you all have been doing well in this past few weeks since we have last met!" He greeted while bowing his head.

"Thank you, Kyojuro. I'm glad to see that you have been recovering really well from the Uppermoon fight lately. How are your disciples doing?" He says while a smile adorned his face.

"We're doing good progress, Master!" Rengoku beamed.

"I see.. It's good to hear that" the master replied.

They continued chatting after that.. I can't really tell what they are saying because I am losing my focus on listening to them as I feel a bit awkward..

Why???

The five children were staring at me.. All of them! I certainly don't know why.. Do I have something on my face? Messy hair maybe?

I can't help but to feel flustered..

I just smiled at them awkwardly because I just don't know how to approach them in this kind of situation.

We heard a knock by the door and it was the trio who finished changing from being soaked in water.

Just as I thought that I'm saved from all the staring, Surprise surprise! I didn't.

I just sat there defeated hoping that I'm at least not giving any embarrassing impression for me to receive all the eyes planted on me.

Amane noticed the battle that I'm going through and chuckled a bit at my situation.

"Oh my... Childrens please contain your excitement for a little bit and refrain yourselves from staring too much at her" She says to her children and turned to me "I'm so sorry for making you uncomfortable, Nanami-san.. You see.. they are a bit too exited to find out that you were here. They've always wanted to play with you that's why all of them came along to the visit. It was just originally just the master and me but they insist that they should come too." She apologizes then explained the reason of the whole scenario.

I'm shocked by the revelation but relieved that there's not a bad reason behind it.

"I-I see.. it's alright though.. They can come and play with me any time.." I smiled at them.

With all that, the childrens and me are now in a different room.. well they kinda dragged me in there and then unraveled a bunch of toys that they brought all the way from their estate.

I'm a little unfamiliar for most of the toys except for a few puzzles and a temari ball. They all taught me on how to play all of them.

I didn't even know how they managed to bring all of the toys since I didn't saw any of them posses even a single bag to store all of them. Is there some kind of magic in their kimono? Nvm.

Nezuko was there to join too, since she awoke from all the rustling around her. I can see that she's enjoying playing with them as well.

Few hours passed and we are now playing hide and seek. I'm currently the seeker and I already found two over the five of the siblings.

Nezuko didn't join because of a really REALLY important matter.. she's busy sleeping in my futon..

I looked in the kitchen and heard something shuffle inside a kitchen drawer. I slowly approached to open them and there lies the two siblings.. Kanata and Kiriya.

"Found you Kanata-chan! Found you Kiriya-kun!" I exclaimed, happy to find more of them. "I only have to find Hinaki-chan!" I added and turned around to find the last one.

It's not long till I found Hinaki who was hiding inside a cabinet back in one of the estates room.

"You found us really fast Nanami-chan! You're really good at seeking." Hinaki says which made me a little flustered.

"I agree! Now I'll be the next one to count! Be ready okay?" Nichika says.

"Right!" We said in sync.

She started counting and we all separated to find a good spot to hide in.

I decided that I'll hide somewhere uncommon which is inside the futon that Nezuko is sleeping in.

Nezuko is in her mini mode and there is still a lot of space where I can hide. I can trick them into thinking that it was just Nezuko in there and no one else.

I got in and it felt really cozy that I have to fight my consciousness to stay awake and not fall a sleep. (Spoiler Alert: I still fell asleep)

Yeah.. I fell asleep and only woke up after I felt someone trip over my body.

"Woooa- Ow-" I heard someone grunt.

I quickly poked my head out to see who is the one that involuntarily tripped over me, but I instantly went pale when I saw the person sitting down while holding the red bruise on their cheek.. It was Kiriya.

I instantly uncovered myself and went to him, panic arose all over my body and my sleepy brain is not helping to process everything properly.

"OMYGOD! ARE YOU OKAY? DOES IT HURT?! OMYGOD I'M SOOO SORRY! D-DO YOU WANT UMMM AN ICE PACK OR SOMETHING?! SHINOBU?! DO YOU WANT ME TO CAL HER- oh wait- she's on a mission.. PLAN B! I'LL HEAL YOU WITH MY BLOOD DEMON ART! JUST WAIT OKAY?! IT'LL JUST TAKE A SHIT TON OF WILL POWER TO ACTIVATE! STAY AND DON'T MOVE!" I blurted feeling really agitated.

I felt that he did not move, he's just staring at me dotted eyed with all that chaos that he sees me doing.

*Fwoosh*

Alas! I activated them pretty easily since I'm already in panic right now.

He got set in flames and the bruise on his cheeks faded away..

"A-are you okay now..?" I sweat dropped after I calmed down and realized my actions from the event earlier..

He just chuckled frantically but still nodded.

"Haha.. Sorry about that.. I kinda over reacted a bit because I just woke up from a little nap over there.. are you sure you're okay now? It doesn't hurt anymore?" I asked once more to confirm.

"It's alright.. it doesn't hurt anymore.. Thank you" he replied a little timidly.

"Phew.. that's good! I heard that the boys in the Ubuyashiki lineage is the ones that was exposed by the curse so I'm really glad that you're fine now!" I beamed a smile at him.

He blinked at me looking confused.

"Umm.. yeah that's true.. may I ask how did you know that I was a boy? I'm currently being raised as a girl but in reality I'm truly a boy." He asked me whilst tilting his head.

"Ohh.. haha..you know that I'm a demon right? I can distinguish genders pretty easily by the aura that people are giving.." I gave him a closed eyed smile to hide the half-lie that I told him.

"Really? That's so cool!" He smiled back.

"Thank you!.. how long have I been hiding by the way?"

"Two hours.. we've been looking for you everywhere.."

"Oh.."

"Goodbye! Hope you have a safe trip going to your home!" I waved at the whole family who's getting escorted by the flame pillar for safety purposes and because sunset is just around the corner.

The rest are left in the flame estate to look after it.

"I'm confused though.. what brings the whole family to visit all of a sudden?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Ohh! They delivered an important news earlier! They wanted to deliver them to the hashiras personally so they left their estate and visit them one person each day! Rengoku-san is the last one to know.." Tanjiro explained.

"Important news? What was it?" I asked Intrigued on what is it about.

"Should we tell her about it?" Zenitsu asked Tanjiro who was beside him.

"PRANGENAT!" Inosuke butted in.

"Prangenat? ʕಠ_ಠʔ"

"What he means was miss Amane was pregnant! They are gonna have a new family member soon! It's a really great news isn't it?" Tanjiro happily distinguished.

"Wait WHAT?!"

I'm so sorry for the long wait! The laziness got a hold of me this pass few weeks but here ya go!

I'm slowly constructing all the plot that has been mixing up in my head so I apologize if the flow is a bit confusing or a bit rigid ^^ I'll try my best to fix it!
