My POV

My body feels like it's floating.. but I can't see shit.. just darkness.

I recently remembered that I'm buying my precious snacks until.. until..?

What happened again?? Oh right.. I got hit by something.. but I don't remember what is it that hit me.

Lemme think..

Ohhh right, It's that damned truck!

DID I JUST REALLY GOT HIT BY THE INFAMOUS TRUCK-KUN?!

I'm quite embarrassed since I died similarly to those anime characters that got reincarnated in different dimensions.

I wonder if I'd be reincarnated.

Is that even possible?

how tf am I still consciously thinking about all this?

I believe that I should be in trial to determine whether I'd be sent to heaven or hell.

Is this really what death feels like? Did I really die? or did they manage to save my life?

I'm being bombarded by countless questions in my mind but I can't really find an answer to that.

I stayed like this for I don't know how long and I'm slowly getting bored.

If my calculations were right, I think my situation had been like this for about ten to twelve hours. I don't know if I'd be able to get out from this.. Just casually floating into a void of darkness..

"Near~ Far~ Where ever you are~ I believe that~ the heart does go on~" I sang.. Ugh, I'm slowly losing sanity.

How long must I wait..

I waited and waited. Until... I heard a faint voice.

I tried to look around but I found nothing but darkness.

"N-.. mi...."

I hear something again.. what was that? Am I finally going crazy?

"Nan... i..."

Nan..i? nani?.. what the hell?

"Wake up" Huh?

This time I can fully hear someone speaking.. but wait.. wake up?

"Nanami, Wake up!" Nanami?

A few seconds after hearing them, I felt like my whole being got sucked into a black hole..

After the strange phenomenon, I felt something shaking the hell out off me..

I weakly opened my eyes and It met with a brown eyed Raven haired lady staring at me paled and quite concerned..

My eyes widened and I forced myself to get up..

Wasn't I supposed to be dead? What happened?

Before I could fill my head with more questions, I was fully engulfed in a warm embrace by the same brown eyed lady which I assume to be in her mid 40's.

I stiffened at the sudden gesture but awkwardly hugged her back.

"Nanami, I thought something bad had happened to you! you weren't waking up for almost whole day no matter how I try to wake you up!" She said while sobbing and tightening her embrace.

'What the?'

I noticed something different.. and it was the language.

I can't really determine what language it was but it was really familiar.. the shocking part was I CAN UNDERSTAND IT SOMEHOW?

Myself, who's now patting her back gently is sweating because this is so ENTIRELY new to me...

The hug.. I mean

Lemme get this straight, I don't really tend to get hugged often by family nor my friends, so this thing is sort of creeping me out.

But despite this, I can still feel somewhat light from the inside.

'This feels nice I think? But I feel bad because she's crying'
