i try to remember every golden hour moment 

every sunset night under the stars 

all our little stares 

our hugs

every warm blanket out of the dryer

and every soft touch of skin 

the moment you left me 

and the pain that it caused 

the nightmares i had 

and the breakdowns in my closet at 3 AM

sometimes i wonder why you wont leave my mind

even when it's filled with someone else
