Y/n isn't a very nice person to anyone Except Her Childhood Bestfriend Ethan, until she meets a certain person.

*y/n pov*

I had been walking with Ethan through the local shopping area. Both walking with out ice cream.

"You wanna try this one? It's Huckleberry." I ask Ethan.

"Sure mines Mint Chocolate chip." He smiles handing me the cone as I hand him mine.

"Ethan! y/n! Come sit!" We hear a small voice, we look up to see Tara Anika Quinn Sam Danny mindy and...Chad Meeks.

"You wanna go sit?" You ask ethan.

"They never talk to us, I mean Tara does but besides that only Chad. So...SURE!" He smiles brightly.

We make our way over to there area and as soon i meet eyes with Chad I drop Ethan's ice cream.

"Dude that was mine." He whines.

"I'm sorry I'll buy you a new one. You can keep mine." I look up at him.

"Are you two together?" Mindy blurts.

"Omg ew." Both of us speak at the same time and look at each other offended.

"He's been my Bestfriend since we were born. Born in the same hospital same day day hour. Same minute. Same room. Our moms were bestfriends since they were kids." I smile and put my arm on his shoulder.

"Oh cool." Both Chad and Mindy Speak together.

"Y/n come sit." Sam smiles for me to sit next to her and CHAD.

Ethan goes and sits next to Tara. She shares her goldfish with him.

"So are you two going to the party tonight?" Mindy says looking at ME.

"I don't know. We aren't big on parties." Ethan speaks for us both as I nod in agreement.

"Cmon it will be fun, And if something happens and you want to go home. I'll drive you home." Chad smiles and I just smile too.

"Okay we will go." Ethan blurts.

"We will see you later. We are going to be late for Work." Y/n grabs Ethans hand and they leave.

As they are walking Ethan stops.

"Y/n we don't have work today." He laughs.

"I know we need to find something to wear to the party tonight." She drags him to the store.

Each trying different outfits.

"How about this shirt? You think Tara will like it?" He walks out and I laugh.

He looks in the mirror and laugh.

"I look like grandma Betty's couch!" He bursts out laughing.

"Here Try this." I hand him a blueish grey flannel.

He walks in and tries it on with a white shirt.

"Sooo? How do I look?" He walks out.

"That's it! That's the one!" He goes and changes out of it.

"Okay your turn." He sits in the chair.

After a few terrible choices, Ethan decides to pick for her, he grabbed her a blue dress with sparkles and a shoulder less area but it showed cleavage and was a little short.

"Really?" She looks at him.

"Yeah Chad will like it. His favorite color." He smiles.

Y/n and Ethan are walking around the party looking for Tara and Sam.

"Oh my god! Y/n! You look so good! And you Ethan!" Sam smiles.

"Loving the matching outfits. And matching converse." Annika gets excited.

"Ethan! Tara was looking for you!" Mindy smirks.

"And Y/n Chad was looking for you." Sam smiles.

"He was?" She smiles softly.

"Yeah I think he's over by the drinks." Annika leads her over.

"Y/n! Hey!" Chad smiles at the sight of her.

"Hey Chad." She smiles back.

"You look amazing tonight. Not that you don't always look amazing. I mean you do. Always. It's not like I look at everyday. I'm ganna stop talking." He gets nervous.

"Thank you. You look great too. everyday." She giggles and he smiles.

"Uh you wanna dance?" He asks.

"I'm not much of a dancer." He grabs her hand pulls her over.

"Just follow my lead." He places his hands on her hips and slowly moves her hips to match the rhythm of the song.

She gets the hang of it and he places her arms around his neck. She looks up at him and smiles.

"Your really pretty y/n." He speaks softly.

Her cheeks go pink and she smiles.

She gets on her tippy toes and pecks his lips, he pulls her closer and doesn't break the kiss. They pull apart and smile at each other.

All night dancing and partying having fun.

Y/n and Chad go the roof and watch the stars.

"Beautiful." Chad says looking at y/n.

"It really is." She's still looking at the stars.

"Your beautiful y/n." He speaks again and she turns and Leans in kissing him.

He slowly lays her back and kisses her. She pulls him closer and had her hands on his neck. His hands on her waist.

They make out for a bit and go back to the party and go walk the city.

It was like it was just the two of them against the world. And then there was Ethan and Tara following behind. Ethan talking about his favorite movie while Tara just stares and smiles.

Y/n and Chad talking about if they would want to try to see if they would work. The answer was yes.
