"Hi guys, I'm Georgie; I'm the founder of a sense of home," Georgie said, hugging me.

"Hi, we're so excited to be here," I said.

Simone, Dinah, Mason, Penelope, and I walked into the home.

"So we're doing home for Rachel, super young, straight out of the foster care system. It's going to be a momentous day, so to get here, it's just amazing." Georgie said.

I had been hearing about this charity organization called a sense of home, which fully furnishes and sets up a home for foster kids who are moving out of their foster home and getting their own home. Today, we are going to be decorating and furnishing a young woman named Rachel's apartment.

"Hi, hey, how are you?" I asked as I walked up and stood next to Georgie.

I hugged Rachel.

"I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed," Rachel answered.

"You are? Like in a good way or a bad way?" I asked.

"A good way." She replied.

"Oh, good," I said.

I thought around this time would be the perfect opportunity to really take the kids. I wanted to do something really special with them where they feel how good it feels to give back. I think that's really important and so I cannot wait to do it.

"Rachel and I were having conversation and she was like it's hard to like take it in like she's normally the person that gives not receive." Georgie said.

"Yeah, it's like hard." i said.

"I'm not...People don't show up for me. So, the fact that people actually showed up for this, that part makes me feel overwhelmed." Rachel said.

I nodded.

I hugged her again.

"Awe, well, thank you for allowing us to do this for you, you deserve it." I said as I pulled away from her as Georgie started talking.

"So this is going to happen really fast so let's go out to the truck and we going to unload. Oh hey, guys so start unwrapping." Georgie said as we went over and help bring furturnite into the apartment.

"Oh I didn't workout today." I said as I handed a large picture frame to penelope to carry inside.

Once we got inside the apartment and started placing things down.

"Okay so take the plastic off." Georgie said.

We're just so excited to give Rachel the best experience and make her apartment look the best that it can.

"How's it going, P?" I asked my daughter, who stood at the hallway entrance with Simone.

I really want the reveal to really be a good surprise for her.

After we finished, Georgie called Rachel to come in.

Rachel opened the door and walked in.

"Surprise!" Everyone shouted as Rachel gasped.

"Holy shit." Rachel said as she took a look around her new furnished apartment. "This place looks different. Thank you so much, guys." She said, tearing up.

"Do you like it?" I asked as Rachel walked around the apartment.

"I love it so much and I do not recognize my own apartment." Rachel answered.

"Welcome home." Georgie said.

Everyone appaulsed as Rachel took a seat on the couch.

"Can you believe how beautiful it is?" Simone asked.

"I love it. I appreciate it so much and just thank you guys again for showing up and doing this for me just being like family like that's all I ever wanted and I finally kind of got it a little bit. It really means a lot to me so thank you." Rachel replied as we all gathered around her.

We all clapped.

A Sense of Home

Kourt invited the Poosh team to join her, Mason, and Penelope for the day to help with a project for A Sense of Home, which is a charity that fully furnishes and sets up homes for foster children who have turned 18 and are moving out of the foster system and getting their first home on their own. With the help of Georgie Smith, founder of the organization, we furnished an apartment for a young woman named Rachel last December.

Since it was during the holiday season, it was the perfect time to give back and for Kourt to provide her kids the opportunity to help out those in need and discover how good it feels to give back.

It was a really meaningful day for the Poosh team, Kourt, Simone, Dinah and Penelope and Mason.

We all teamed up and tackled each room, decorating and arranging the space to make it warm and inviting. Mason was so sweet and was in charge of the "Love Jar" where we all wrote special notes for Rachel to remind her how much she is loved.

During the reveal, she expressed how much it meant to her that people showed up for her, which was a really touching moment for the Poosh team to be a part of.

The Kardashians Surprised Kourtney With a Social Distancing Car Parade Party for Her Birthday

Now that we're all social distancing and self-isolating—and if you're not, please start right now—we've also had to re-think parties and celebrations. Some people are (smartly!) choosing to postpone or cancel big events like weddings (looking @ you, Princess Beatrice), but you can't exactly cancel a birthday, so people are being forced to think of creative ways to celebrate.

And while some famous people like Queen Elizabeth are just going ahead and calling off their birthday celebrations, others are improvising, like Khloé Kardashian, who recently threw a very small but very cute party for her daughter True.

And even though we still have who knows how much longer of quarantine, it looks the award for 'most creative social distancing party' will go to Kourtney Kardashian, who just got a full-on car parade for her birthday.

Kourt turned 41 yesterday, and to celebrate, her family and friends decided to surprise her by organizing a drive-by party. Guests show up in their luxury cards with balloons, signs, and streamers to sing, honk, blast music, and make a general ruckus in front of Kourtney's mansion.

People who showed up included Kendall Jenner, Khloé Kardashian (who arrived with Tristan Thomson, ahem), Kim Kardashian and her kids North and Saint West, and Stephanie Shepard.

And for a birthday party where you couldn't really hang out with other people, it actually looked pretty fun.
