69 days left

allison was devastated, to say the least. she didn't expect all of this to happen in a blink of an eye. she couldn't believe her ears, or eyes but what was there to be lying about? it was happening in front of her, and she didn't really have another choice.

the day was going on well as she planned, having fun with harry. she really liked spending time with him, and she couldn't deny the fact that she felt happy being with him.

spending time with harry made her believe that he wasn't just another broken figure - he could be better, and she wanted to help him out. she wanted to be with him forever, even if it wasn't possible.

but right now, it seems like she was the one who needed help.

she came home to an ambulance parked out of her house, and her neighbours were crowding around the gates. she was shocked and decided to run to the crowd.

"what happened?" her tone was calm, yet confused.

she saw her neighbour, dorothy crying and taking deep breaths before telling allison.

telling allison what may seem the end of her entire world.

"i-i'm sorry honey, i just came to send some orange c-cake, and s-she wasn't answering the doorbell," dorothy took a breath and licked her tears that were smudged against her lips, "s-she was in the toilet, and s-she just lay there," dorothy couldn't finish her sentence.

that was when allison ran up her doorsteps, crossing the yellow line and she didn't bother stopping even when the paramedics asked her too. she didn't want to anyways.

she didn't bother stopping herself from running to the lifeless body placed on the stretcher in the living room. there she was, the only person she relied her life on, the only person she came for love.

the only person that felt like the world to her.

dahlia died at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, according to the paramedics. she was blue when dorothy found her, meaning that she had been in the same position for about four hours.

allison sobbed in her room, she wasn't capable of handling any funerals, so she decided to pass the duties to the hospital. yes, she was 22 years old, but she couldn't handle the responsibility for her funeral, well - she couldn't emotionally anyways.

she found herself cuddling among dahlia's clothes in the middle of the night - finding comfort in her usual scent. her tears weren't stopping, and she didn't even bother wiping them anyways.

she was in shock, mentally and emotionally. the house had too much of dahlia, and as much as she missed her, she knew dahlia wouldn't want her to mourn.

dahlia was too ready for her death anyways, she had never stopped speaking about how she wanted to die.

allison knew tripping in the toilet wasn't one of them anyways.

allison sobbed again, sad knowing that dahlia didn't get the way she wanted - but she knew dahlia wouldn't want anyone to be mourning over her.

if allison could turn back time, she wouldn't let her trip. she wouldn't let dahlia leave her sight.

god, she felt so frustrated. she felt so crushed.

she felt so clueless as she sat on dahlia's bed.

the neighbours passed her a lot of money, and they were sickly sympathetic towards her.

she wanted to thank them with all her heart, but she couldn't help but feel so pityful. she didn't want people to feel sorry, she didn't need that. it only made her mourn even more.

she didn't know what to feel. yes, she was sad because dahlia left her alone and clueless. but she knew dahlia would be better in heaven, and that made allison smile. dahlia would be having a great time there.

her thoughts rushed over to harry, and she thought about how their day went.

who knew a day full of laughter would end up in such a devastating way?

all she knew was that she got a day off from the library tomorrow, and even if dahlia didn't want her to mourn - she most probably would anyways. one day tops.

she felt the tears stop leaking from her eyes, and she stared at the pictures thumbtacked against the walls. dahlia wasn't one to take pictures of herself - the pictures were mostly flowers and cute animals.

the closet was overflowing with hangers and hangers of her clothes. allison sighed, knowing she would have to give them to charity - like dahlia wanted her too.

why did dahlia have to leave so early, allison thought.

she found herself thinking about dahlia's golden locks and hazel eyes before drifting off to sleep, enveloped in dahlia' sheets.

allison allison allison, better get ready for your lonely life ahead.
