The next day Gou showed us a new training regiment. She also told Rei that he had to learn how to swim in a week, since Prefacuals were soon. I wondered, what team would I swim with?

Before everyone went out to swim Gou stopped me by grabbing my wrist.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I told Rin and he said it sounds like a plan. The bet started today got it?" She told me. I nodded my head.

I then went outside and started to swim. I didn't bother helping Rei since he would sink whenever he swam, and I had to train for prefecturals so I had no time for it.

Pretty soon it started to rain though, so we went to Haruka's house to have a 'why can't Rei swim meeting'.

"Any ideas?" Nagisa asked.

"The water doesn't like him." Haruka suggested.

"Maybe he is physically challenged?" Gou suggested.

"Did you see how fast Rei was!?" Nagisa said. I just sat there drinking my tea that was poured for everyone.

"He's really smart too."

"Do you like Makarel?" Haru's asked.

"Maybe his head is too heavy!" Nagisa suggested.

"All of that studying had enlarged his brain!" Gou said.

Idiots.

"The problem is the way you guys teach!" Rei said. "If I had a proper coach I would be fine!"

"A coach..." Makato started to say. "There is a coach!"

Later there was a box of pizza sitting in the middle of the table, Coach Sasabe being the one that delivered it. I didn't bother telling him my name so he wouldn't ruin our bet.

"You want me to teach a kid that sinks like a rock to swim?" He said to us. "Because I used to be a coach?"

I grabbed a piece of pizza and started eating it.

"I object." Rei said. "I can float, so I do not sink like a rock. It would be better put like a submarine."

"Like that helps at all." I said I between my bites.

"Goro-chan, we want you to tach him how to swim." Nagisa said with pizza in his mouth. He scolded Nagisa for that.

He then left saying he was a busy man.

"Didn't work." Makoto said.

"You think?" I replied. The first day of our bet had ended. I don't think they were getting close to finding out who I was.

They probably never will.
