Antidote

They should gather my blood for a vaccine
An antidote
A remedy
As I've found that thoughts of you cure everything

Caffeine hasn't half the effect than you in my head
Or better yet in my bed
Strewn across the blankets
Your oxford hanging off the ledge

Relaxants?
What a joke
Nothing is needed but you to loosen up
To unwind and let my mind collapse

You do away with my inhibitions
And take away the pain
All the stress that collects throughout the day
And leave nothing but ecstasy in its wake

You shout and I'm awake
When you whisper all becomes calm
You somehow set the tempo
When all the timing seems wrong

Even when I'm on my knees
You make me feel higher than no other
Risen above the rest
As if you'd enjoy to see a crown sat atop my head
