You can never go wrong with a Christmas Special! In this Dick is 10 so he's been with Ra's for 2 years.

Normal POV

Dick sat on his large satin sheets, tossing a ball at the wall. He didn't even know what today was. There was no calendar in his room and he didn't have a phone. So today was just another day.

Someone knocked on Dick's door making him drop his ball and quickly go answer it. It was Slade, which was not surprising.

"Richard." The one-eyed man greeted. Slade turned around and started walking away, Dick took this as his cue to follow him.

"So what are we doing today, Slade?" Richard asked cheerily. The ruthless mercenary had grown used to the younger constant happiness. Even in a place like this he was always smiling.

"Today is free choice, we can work on whatever you'd like." Slade answered nonchalantly. Dick pumped a fist into the air. He only ever got to chose what to do on special occasions.

"OOH! Can we work with swords!"

Dick was exhausted. He was basically crawling back to his room. Slade has worked him ridiculously hard today. Dick was happy he got to chose what they did today though.

When the 10 year old got back to his room, he took of his shoes and fell into bed. He didn't get under the covers. He was asleep before he even hit the pillow.

"Did you work him hard, Slade?" Ra's ah Ghul asked.

Slade smirked. "Yes, he was basically asleep when we finished." Ra's smiled, things were going according to plan.

"Shall I put the box in his room?" Slade asked. Ra's hook his head.

"No I will do it." Slade nodded then walked off. Ra's grabbed the two small boxes that sat beside him and started walking to the young boy's room.

He quietly opened the door only to see Dick out cold, and on top of his covers. Ra's smiled down at him. He set the two boxes on top of a desk. He picked up the small boy with ease.  Lifted the covers and slid him under.  

When Dick woke up he was surprised by the warmth of his covers. He didn't remember going to sleep under them. He groggily sat up and looked around his room. His eyes landed on the two boxes on his desk. Each wrapped perfectly in green or red wrapping paper.

Dick jumped out of bed and went over to them. He was skeptical to open them, he didn't know what was inside. But curiosity got the best of him and he carefully opened the red gift.

Inside was a set of new throwing stars. Dick eyes lit up, he only had a few currently and had been wanting some more. He looked towards the next gift excited.

Inside was a new katana blade, Dick had broke his other one a few days ago. He smiled at the gifts them went to put them where the went.

Dick had the biggest smile on his face when he realized what the date was. Today was December 25th.

Ok ok I knew Slade and Ra's probably wouldn't actually do this. BUT I WANT THEM TOO FOR THIS HOLIDAY SPECIAL SO YAH!
