R POV

They put me back in this stupid interrogation room. Apparently me 'meeting' the team would not be face to face. I was on one side of the glass, they were to be on the other. We we're going to be talking through a speaker system. I was handcuffed to a table, and the chair. And the chair and table were nailed to the floor. So movement was highly restricted.

That didn't mean I couldn't fool its them though. I had found a way to get one my wrists out of their restraint. I'd play a little game with them. I'd take out the limb and move it around while talking, then slide it back in like nothing had happened. Oh man I wish I could see their faces!

I heard the door open on the other side of the glass, meaning my new pals had finally arrived.

"Hello! Thanks for taking so long!" I snapped. I had been siting in the chair for a while and my legs were falling asleep. I didn't want to do this already, but they're just making it worse!

"Hello R." The fish boy, Kaldur'ahm, spoke through the speaker. I smiled.

"Hi fish legs!" I pulled my wrist out and waved them slid it back in. It took all my strength to not laugh when I heard a gasp from the other side.

"So what are we gonna talk about?" I said, tilting my head to the side. This was boring already.

"How about your name?" I heard the Speedster say. Wow he's straight forwards isn't he.

"Well I mean 'R' could stand for a number of things. Renegade, Robin, Ricky, Rin, Richard, Ronald, Regan, Roy, Robert, Roberto, Ray, Really awesome, Rick, Reese's Pieces, Ra-,"

"Ok we get it." Artemis groaned. I smirked.

"Oh Wallace the answer to number 7 on your homework is 2 squared plus 8 equals x." I was just messing with him at that. I heard him run in and out of the room.

"That's not even funny! How'd you know that?! How'd you know?!" He shouted through the class. I couldn't hold back my signature cackle, I literally just made up some number!

"Ok what about some of your skills, can we learn about some of those?" Kaldur said. He sure was calm, I like him. I wanna break him!

"Well where do I begin. . . I have telekinesis, telepathy, I can fly, I have super strength, precognitions. I have super speed, I can breathe under water. Pyrokenesis, laser eyes, I can solve 28 rubix cubes with my eyes closed in just under 5 minutes. I can lick my elbow, I can cross my eyes. I can make cool shapes with my tongue, I can write with BOTH my hands. I-,"

"Ok." Kaldur snapped through the glass. The fish man sounded like he tried to restrain his voice and keep it as calm as possible. But no one can withstand my annoyingness.

"Wait can you really lick your elbow?" Wally said. I smirked a pulled my wrist from the cuff. I heard Artemis start yelling at Wally as I pulled my hand from it's cuff and proceeded to lick my elbow. I heard a gasp and started smiling.

"Ok well how about this. Do you like being a mercenary?" Fish legs asked. Both rooms  temperatures dropped like 3 degrees. That's was one heck of a question.

I tilted my head to the side (why do I do that so much?) a large creepy grin engulfing my face. You could practically see the rolls of crazy that rolled off my skin.

"Well mercenary isn't a job that comes with health insurance," I smiled. My head facing towards the table so a shadow fell over my eyes but allowed my smile to be seen. "But it definitely has its perks."

They didn't speak, the two rooms were deathly silent. I pulled my wrist out of the cuff and wrested my head on it. I yawned, this was super boring.

"So do you enjoy being a goody two-shoes hero?" Man I wish I could see there faces, I just went from super creepy to super bored in like a minute! I wanna see there reaction!

I sighed, this was gonna be a long conversation.

Team's POV

"He's really creepy!" Wally cried in the mind-link. He was hiding himself in the corner of the small room. Everyone thought the young boy was . . . odd.

"Why does he keep pulling his hand out of the handcuff only to put it back in?" Connor asked. He was genuinely confused. If the boy could escape why hadn't he?

"He's messing with us. That little brat!" Artemis snapped as the boy yawned from behind the glass. "He needs to learn some manners!"

"So do you enjoy being goody two-shoes heroes?" R suddenly asked. Pulling the team out of their thoughts and stared at him from behind the glass. His head was in hand and he looked tired and bored.

"Yes we do enjoy being heroes. Being able to help others and saving lives is a thrill and an honor." Kaldur answered back. He had done most of the talking because no one else wanted to talk to the assassin.

"So why are you heroes? Why save people? They've never done anything for you, why save them?" R said, his eyes closed.

"Just because they've never helped us doesn't mean we can't help them. All people are worth saving, including you." M'gann said. R looked up at the glass.

"Did we spark something?" Wally asked. The boy looks to be in his own thoughts.

"Wow you guys really are good two-shoes, aren't you?" He started laughing. "I bet you guys would cry if you didn't save a bird from falling out of a tree!"

"Can I please go and punch him." Artemis growled.

"Not yet, Artemis." Wally said, glaring at the boy while he laughed.

"Why do you kill R? Like us, the people you kill have never done anything to you. So why do you harm them?" Kaldur said, the assassin stopped laughing.

"Because I get money and rewards once I'm done." He said nonchalantly. His face looked so innocent it was cute.

"I gonna punch him." Artemis said as she started walking out of the room.

"Artemis get back in here!" M'gann started running after her.

"I think we should call it a day." Wally rubbed the bridge of his nose. The others agreed.

"Alright R, we will talk more tomorrow. Good bye." Kaldur sighed. R waved to the glass.

"See ya fish legs!" He smiled as the team walked out.

The team walked back to the living room. Wally flopped onto the couch.

"He's a pain." Wally sighed.

"You can say that again."
