Normal POV

The Young Justice team walked out of the interrogation room, this time they left the assassin awake.

"So what did he say?" Flash asked.

"He said his name is 'R' that's all we got," Wally said. Flash smiled, his plan had worked.

"See I told you. You got him to answer a question! It's better then what we did." Flash said ecstatic his idea had worked.

"But that's all we got! What are we supposed to do with a letter? A LETTER?!" Wally exclaimed, the team had never heard that name before but the JL may have.

"It's better than nothing and that's what matters. You figured out how to get him to talk." Batman added. Wally shut up after a compliment from the Batman.

"YOU KNOW I CAN HERE YOU GUYS RIGHT!?" The assassin, now known as R, yelled from his cell. Everyone outside the door shut up.

"What should we do with him now, Batman?" Black Canary asked through a newly made mind-link.

"Well, he hasn't eaten since we got him," Flash added. They had had the kid for, what three days? And he hadn't had a meal that wasn't from an IV.

"Alright, I guess we'll do that then," Artemis said, as she and the Young Justice team walked to the kitchen.

"And we can talk to Mr. R," Flash responded as he and one other JL member walked into the interrogation room.

R/Dick's POV

"There walls look really thin." I thought as I stared at their ceiling.

The door behind me opened. I tried my best to look at it but all these pointless restraints only let me look from side to side and down.

"So your names R huh?" I heard Flash say. Great, they're back.

"Did you know this room has 28 cracks on its walls?" I said. The speedster and a woman in black stepped into view.

"Why Hello Black Canary, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." She smiled back at me. "So why, if I may ask, am I awake? Am I finally free to go?" I smirked, knowing that was nowhere near true.

"Sorry Kid but not today," Flash said as he undid one of the five restraints that held down my torso.

"What are you guys doing then?" I asked. I couldn't figure out their motive. And I really don't like not knowing what's going on. "Oh! Are you killing me? Torture? Something more fun than sitting and sleeping all day!" I say cheerily. They looked at me like I was a maniac.

"What? No kid we're just moving you." Flash said, flustered. I let out a sad sighed, nearly laughing at their faces.

Once they had undone several of the restraints, only leaving two over every limb, Black Canary came over with a needle in hand. She carefully shot it into my arm and my head went foggy.

"Yay more sleeping," I said sarcastically as they undid my last few restraints.

"Only for a couple more hour." Flash smiled down at me, I looked up at him and sent a cold glare. He shrank down and looked away. I sighed angrily and gave into sleep.

Normal POV

"His glares are as scary as Batman's," Flash said after he watched the assassin fall into unconsciousness. "Maybe even scarier."

"I doubt they're scarier, everyone crumbles under the bat glare." Black Canary said as she undid the last restraint. "The rooms ready right?" Flash nodded.

"How long will he be out this time?" Flash asked he picked up the sleeping killer.

"Just a few hours, most likely two." Black Canary answered as she opened the door that led to the boy's new room/cell. It was a simple ten by ten with a twin size mattress on the ground, a pillow and cover too. Nothing more, not even a clock. They couldn't risk anything with the boy, the mattress didn't even have springs, he could use them somehow.

Flash set the boy on the mattress, on top of the cover.

"He's gonna be a difficult one, isn't he?" Black Canary said as she and Flash left the room.

"Superman said the same thing."

Team's POV

"How long is he going be staying here?" Connor asked. The team had all gone to the kitchen to discuss their guest.

"Batman still wants answers from him so who know?" Wally answered and he ate from his party sized bag of chips. "He could be here for weeks maybe even months."

"I believe it's best to not question the League or Batman. They know what they want so they will get it eventually." Aqualad added. The rest nodded.

"It doesn't seem like he wants to cooperate though." M'gann said as she finished making the assassin's meal. She had made three sandwiches. A peanut butter and jelly, a salami and mustard sandwich, and a veggie sandwich (Lettuce, Avocado, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, and cream cheese on toasted bread). Along with a glass of water.

"Well then why don't we help them?" Wally smirked before zipping away. He came back with a small vile.

"What that?" Artemis asked as Wally sat down.

"It a truth serum me and Barry have been working on. We just finished it and it works!" Wally exclaimed, Artemis smirked. Wally undid the cap and poured the clear liquid into the assassin's water.

"So in a few hours when the kid wakes up, he'll be spilling all his little secrets."

Two Hours Later — Normal POV

The team walked down to the assassin's new room. Then slowly opened the door to see him sitting cross legged on the mattress with his eyes closed. He opened them up and tilted his head to the side.

"Why hello." He smiled. If the team didn't have a plan right now, they would've been sent running.

"Hey. . . So we brought you food. 3 different sandwiches and a glass of water." Kid Flash said as he set the meal down. There was only the food and a plastic cup which held the water on a plastic tray.

"Why thank you!" R smiled as he grabbed the tray, he didn't eat it however. "Why are you still here? Gonna watch me eat?" The assassin asked, an eyebrow raised.

"Sorry Sorry we just gotta . . ." Wally tried, his teammates left the room. Leaving him alone with the boy.

"Well great I get you." R glared at the speedster and watched him squirm under the look. He took a sip of water and felt a little weird.

"Dang it, they did something to my water . . . Probably some sort of truth serum, ok I've been trained for this just gotta focus." The assassin thought.

"Sooo, R. Heard you got some secrets up in your head." Wally said as he leaned against the wall.

R tilted his head to the side, "That is true."

"Well I'd love to learn a few. . . But how about we start with your name?" Wally smirked, "this kids will be putty in my hands."

"My, My name, my my," The assassin strained. Concentrating hard on not giving away secrets. He took a breathe, closed his eyes, and calmed himself. He sat up straight and looked the speedster in the eyes.

"Your name is Wallace Rudolf West."
