It was night. Everyone was in place.

The three, Elliott, Jay, And Voxle were sitting in the living room and eating their dinner.

The two, Yuni and Zyphon were carefully approaching Voxle's location.

And finally, one. Null watching the 5 from a far distance, waiting for the time for them to strike.

("That's a pretty stupid intro, counting down like that? Pfft. Pretty cringe if you ask me.")

("Oh you don't like that?")

("Yea. And WHY ARE YOU WRITING DOWN OUR CONVERSATION RIGHT NOW?")

("Shush if you want the 4th wall to live today")

("Just get back to your story.")

Anyways...

It was a Monday night. Since the school burned down earlier, Jay doesn't have summer class until the school has been fixed. Leaving him quite a lot of free time.

Jay: "So... Voxle?"

Voxle turns to look at Jay.

Jay: "How do you eat stuff with that on your head?"

Voxle's visor turns off and splits open like a mouth again and puts food in it. After that he closes it and the visor turns back on.

Jay: "Okay... Pretty freaky, but in a cool way."

Voxle's visor displays their neon eyes in a happy expression.

Elliott: "Hey uh, you guys see that?"

There was light outside. The lights came from a car, it was hard to tell what kind it is as it was black and it was dark outside.

Elliott: "Voxle, hide!"

Voxle runs upstairs to the bathroom and takes Jay with him. He locks the door and Jay asks him.

Jay: "Why did you take me here?"

Voxle looks around for a way to communicate, his eyes land on a mirror and he gets an idea. His visor opens again forming a mouth and he breaths on the mirror, making it steamy. He slides his paw on the mirror like he was writing.

Voxle [Mirror]: "In case."

The door can be heard being opened downstairs. Voxle hides in the bathtub and closes the blinds of it and turns off the lights. Jay sits on the toilet hoping Voxle's hiding plan works.

-Elliott POV-

I can hear knocking behind the door. I ask the person who was behind it.

Elliott: "Who's there?"

???: "None of your business."

They answered. So I thought of something and replied back.

Elliott: "None of your business who?"

???: "We aren't here to play your games, kid."

They open the door. I was shocked and it was the people from before. Still the same black suits and for some reason they were wearing respirators this time.

I mentally facepalm as I forgot to lock the door.

???: "Hmm. Three plates? I thought there were only the two of you."

Elliott: "Yea, well my mom came back and..."

Another dude went in the house. Also wearing a respirator and the same black suit. I'm starting to think we're in danger.

??? (2): "Is that so? Then explain why there isn't a car in your garage."

Elliott: "Wait how did you know-"

I was cut off by the second dude.

??? (2): "Heh, Works everytime."

???: "Search the house. My tracker is sensing a bunch of these..."

The two starts searching the house. The first one searches the second floor while the second was searching the first floor.

Elliott: "Gotta think..."

-Voxle POV-

There I was. Laying in the cold bathtub, waiting for them to leave the house. I hear footsteps coming closer which is then followed by the doorknob being turned. Luckily it was locked.

I peek out of the blinds and signal Jay.

Jay: "I'm uh, doing my business... Yeah might take a while since I just started right now and..."

The dude in the other side seems to be annoyed as they knocked the door harder which scared Jay. He looks back at me and nods, telling me to get ready.

Jay: "Okay fine. Guess I'll just have to hold it in..."

He opens the door and reveals the same person from last time. Except they were wearing a respirator on their face.

They walk towards the bathtub and reaches for the blinds. They aggressively open it, that was my chance.

I lean back to the bathtub and kicked them which made them fall on the floor. I knock them on the head very fast and hard causimg them to fall unconscious.

Jay: "Are they... Dead?"

I shake my head meaning they are not dead but it should buy us enough time to run.

??? (2): "Hey you okay up there?"

Footsteps can be heard. I get ready to strike again. They found us and aimed a gun at us.

??? (2): "There you are... Surrender now or be shot."

I look at the gun and noticed. It was a dart gun and I assume that it's loaded with tranquillisers. They were ready to shoot me. I get into fighting position and they grip the gun harder.

Until...

A ball of fire breaks through the window and makes the dude catch on fire but they accidentally fired. I looked for the dart and surprisingly it didn't hit me. But instead it hit Jay on the leg.

Jay: "AGH!"

I pull the tranquilliser dart out of his  leg and grabbed the med kit and bandaged it. I don't really know if it can bleed but better safe than sorry.

Back to the dude who was still burning. Suddenly blue light can be seen through the broken window. Something went in and cut the dude in half and falls down the stairs. There was a bit of steam and smoke but no blood. I assume that the thing that hit them was pretty hot which reminds me...

The house might be set on fire. I look around for a fire extinguisher and remembered seeing one downstairs in the garage. I run downstairs and grabbed the fire extinguisher and and started smacking the burning body with it.

Elliott: "That's not how you use it!"

Elliott runs next to me and takes the firs extinguisher and uses it correctly unlike what I did. We were relieved but worried as there might be more dudes coming.

I look around the house and found a sword. It was blue and had a laser for a blade, it even has a paw symbol. And then I remembered something.

Voxle: "Wait... This is my own sword but how..."

I hear knocking from the back door. It was made of glass and I was surprised who it was. It was the yellow and pink protogens, Zyphon and Yuni.

Voxle: "Zyphon, Yuni!"

I open the glass sliding door and hug both of them.

Zyphon: "Woah miss us much?"

Voxle: "Maybe just a little."

Zyphon: "Did you say something?"

I release them from the hug and remembered I still can't speak due to my vocal speakers being broken. So I sent a message that popped up in Zyphon's visor.

Voxle [Message]: "Vocal speakers broken"

Zyphon: "Ah I got it."

Yuni: "What is it?"

Zyphon: "They can't speak due to something being broken."

Yuni: "Wait, you know how to fix stuff right?"

Zyphon: "Yeah I do but the stuff I need is in the ship."

Yuni: "Agh dammit. Well Voxle, wanna start going now?"

I sent a message to Yuni which popped up in their visor.

Voxle [M]: "Give me a moment."

Yuni gave me a thumbs up so I went upstairs to check on the two.

Voxle: "Wait if I can send messages through Zyphon's visor, can I..."

-Elliot POV-

Jay was unconscious, I get close enough to help him. Suddenly my phone vibrated, indicating that I have a new message. I turn on my phone and checked the message, the messenger's name is unknown which creeped me out a bit. What creeped me out even more is that the message said this.

??? [M]: "Is Jay alright?"

I suspected it was just his parents but to make sure I asked.

Elliott [M]: "Who are you?"

??? [M]: "Look to your left"

I look to my left and saw nothing. Then my phone vibrated again so I checked the message.

??? [M]: "I meant to the right, sorry."

I turned to look at my right and saw Voxle standing there, so I got up and asked him.

Elliott: "You sent this? How?"

Some vehicles can be heard outside the house. And then my phone vibrated again.

Voxle [M]: "No time to explain. We have to move."

Elliott: "Alright, I'll pack essentials. We will come back, Right?"

Voxle [M]: "I'm afraid not after a while as they might take you too. "

I nod affirmatively and I went to get supplies. Food, water, and other stuff like flashlights and clothes. I put them all in a bag and put wear it on my back.

Elliott: "Alright. I'm ready."

Voxle was carrying Jay by his shoulders and nods then heads downstairs. I followed him downstairs and saw 2 of what seems to be his species.

Elliott: "Hey uh, who are they?"

My phone vibrated again, so I turned it on and checked it.

Voxle [M]: "We'll talk about it later"

Elliott: "Alright, Where we heading?"

Voxle [M]: "The ship should be in..."

-Null POV-

All of them were outside at the back, They seem to be running away. I then hear some cars parking in the front, and then furries with suits came out and with weapons.

*clink*

I felt something bounce of my metallic body, I looked at the ground and saw a dart.

Null: "They must have found me."

I try to escape by jumping off the tree but I was caught by a net. I try to reach for the knife to cut it but the net got tighter, restraining me. And then 3 of them approach me.

???: "What are you?"

??? (2): "Whatever it is, its probably what we've been looking for."

I realise they were speaking English. One of the many languages of this planet. I try to speak but they picked me up and threw me in a van like I was just a package.

Null: "Inconveniences like these only slow me down..."

Suddenly the van was getting foggy. I assume it was sleeping gas but little did they know I did not need any oxygen as I don't have any lungs and fully mechanical.

Null: "Cheap trick."

Yeah I dunno what else to put here.

Originally this chapter was gonna be longer but I dont really feel like it right now.

I have a bunch of things to do so I'll just take a week break from writing in wattpad. Man who knew thinking of a story would be so time consuming... Probably a lot of people.

Anyways next chapter is gonna be uploaded... Let's see...

Possibly next next week or the 2nd week of November.

I'd add a drawing here but here's the problem. I don't have any... Except this.

Yeah this is a way better drawing than the other one. The torso looks stretched tho but whatever.

Unrelated note: I have a lot of unread stories saved in my library because when I see something interesting to read I just dump it in my collection of stories I probably won't have time to read.
