It was finally day. Voxle was the first one to wake up. The other two earthlings were still asleep.

Voxle: "Hmm, Should I wake them?"

Voxle thinks to himself for a moment, watching over Elliott and Jay. Yesterday, they assumed he was a male so Voxle just accepted it. It's not like it really matters that much.

Voxle: "Yeah, maybe after a snack."

Voxle walks around the house looking for something to eat while he waits for the two to wake up. He heads to the kitchen and finds a fridge. Voxle opens the fridge and finds a bunch of food, all of them were unfamiliar to Voxle.

Voxle: "I guess a try won't hurt?"

Voxle looks at the fridge's contents and finds a cup. Voxle carefully takes out the cup from the fridge and sniffs it... Somehow.

Voxle: "This looks... Edible I guess. Sure they won't mind me eating this."

The cup had "Yogurt" written on it. The cup was made of plastic while the cover was made of thin foil. Voxle peels off the foil revealing what the cup is supposed to have inside, Yogurt.

Voxle: "Down the hatch..."

His visor turns off and splits open like a mouth. Voxle raises the cup above his head and tips it upside down, waiting for the yogurt to just drop down into his mouth. Few seconds passed it hasn't fallen out of the cup yet, Voxle closes his mouth to look at the yogurt still in the upside down cup.

Voxle: "Is this even-"

*splat*

The yogurt falls on Voxle's visor. He opens his mouth again and licks it with his tongue.

Voxle: "Mmm... Not bad. Sweet but still, it's all over my visor."

BETA: "You could have used a spoon, captain."

Voxle: "Forgot you were there BETA, also forgot spoons exist"

BETA: "Let's just put that aside for now. Would you like me to set a waypoint to your ship now?"

Voxle: "Yeah, go ahead."

-Voxle POV-

A waypoint marker appears on my visor's inner screen. It can be seen behind walls and it looks like it's pretty far.

BETA: "Can you see it captain?"

Voxle: "It's far, Like really far."

BETA: "Shall we start travelling?"

Voxle: "Give me a moment"

I walk out of the kitchen to wake the two earthlings up. They were sleeping on the living room. I stand in front of them and shouted to wake them up.

Voxle: "HEY YOU TWO, WAKE UP!"

BETA: "Your speakers are still broken, remember?"

Voxle: "Ah, right."

I walk closer to Elliott and started to violently shake him, of course not too hard to break him. He wakes up.

Elliott: "Stop your making me sick!"

I stop shaking him and tried to talk.

Voxle: "My ship is here, you won't mind me leaving now right?"

Elliott: "I'm sorry, What?"

I facepalm and remembered I still can't speak directly to him. I went towards the drawer and took out a sheet of paper and a pen.

Voxle [Paper]: "Ship's here"

I wrote on the paper.

Elliott: "Oh that's great! Now if we could just find a way to take you there we won't have to worry about anyone finding out and capturing you then."

I nodded and started writing on the paper again.

Voxle [P]: "It's far"

Elliott: "Oh, Well I guess we should start going then? Feels like I'm forgetting about something..."

Elliott looks at Jay and for a for a brief moment he panics and wakes Jay up.

Elliott: "DUDE WAKE UP! YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE FOR SUMMER SCHOOL!"

Jay: "Oh yeah. I forgot"

Jay gets up and puts on his bag.

Elliott: "You're gonna go to school like that?"

Jay: "Fine I'll take a shower. Can you show me where your bathroom is?"

Elliott: "Upstairs."

The two head upstairs leaving me and BETA alone in the living room. I sat back down on the couch, there wasn't much to do so we waited for them to finish. I looked around the room and found a huge black rectangular screen on the wall.

Voxle: "Hey BETA, that's a television right?"

BETA: "Affirmative captain, Why you ask?"

Voxle: "Wanna watch something while we wait?"

BETA: "That would be nice captain. The remote is just beside you."

I look to my left and found the remote and pressed the red button, the television turns on the news channel.

News reporter: "Recently a school was on fire, we are still figuring out who or what caused this. Luckily there was no one inside yet."

Voxle: "Eh, Boring. Next channel"

I change the channel and hear footsteps going downstairs. It was Elliott and Jay.

Elliott: "Come on you're gonna be late!"

Jay: "Alright, alright I'm going."

The two exit through the door. Elliott peeks back in to check on me.

Elliott: "Hey uhh... Voxle right?"

I turn to look at him.

Elliott: "Can you stay here for a little bit while I take Jay to summer school?"

I nod affirmatively.

Elliott: "Alright I trust you, See ya!"

He leaves and closes the door behind him. I look outside the window and see both of them running.

BETA: "Captain, do you think the school they go to is the one mentioned in the news earlier?"

Voxle: "Might be, but too late to tell them about it. Also you can just call me Voxle."

BETA: "Understood, Voxle."

-Timeskip to the two furries running late to school-

-Elliott POV-

Elliott: "We made it!"

Jay: "What happened here?"

I look around and saw a few fire trucks. And then a dog furry wearing a fire fighter outfit approached us. They were a dalmatian

("Convenient huh?")

("Just... Continue.")

Dalmatian: "You two study here?"

Jay: "Yup we do, What happened here?"

Dalmatian: "We don't know what happened too. But luckily no one was hurt."

Fire Fighter: "DUDE HELP I'M ON FIRE!!!"

Another fire fighter was running and they were on fire.

Dalmatian: "For that last time, you don't literally punch and kick the fires."

The Dalmatian runs off to put out the fire on the other fire fighter.

Elliott: "Well that's unfortunate."

Jay: "But hey look at the bright side, no summer school for me."

Elliott: "You sure?"

Jay looks at the school. Some parts were burned and some collapsed.

Jay: "Well by looking at the damage done I'd say about... A month of repairs"

Elliott: "Well lucky for you. Now we gotta run back home."

Jay: "Wish I could just fly y'know?"

Elliott: "If you did you'd be a lot more tired from flapping your wings."

Jay: "Point taken."

-School Camera-

There were two neon faces, lighting up the school. One yellow and one pink. It was dark because the lights were off. They were in one of the classrooms.

Yellow: "Do we really have to hide in here? It looks really flammable..."

Pink: "Just calm down, Last thing we need is you setting on fire and burning this entire place."

Yellow: "Well we ARE near Voxle."

Pink: "We just have to wait until night so they don't find us. You remember what happened before right?"

Yellow: "Hey don't look at me, I'm not the one who decided to hide in a fireworks factory."

Yellow: "I feel like being watched right now... Do you?"

Pink: "Aside from you I do feel like being watched too..."

The two look around until they spot the camera.

Yellow: "Oh no a camera... If I can just..."

Pink: "Don't even think about it."

The Yellow one sets it's palm on fire. Gradually heating up and lighting up the place. The two can now be seen. They had fur and something on their face, although the fire isn't bright enough to fully show their whole body.

The yellow one points their burning claw at the camera like a gun and shoots fire.

Yellow: "Pew."

The shot hit the camera, it was hot enough to make the circuits burn but it was also hot enough to set the ceiling on fire.

Pink: "ZYPHON!"

Zyphon: "Sorry Yuni."

Those were the last words that the camera heard.

-Null POV-

I have been chasing those two protogens tirelessly. They haven't saw me yet but there were times I almost got spotted. I watched them enter some sort of building, after a while it was on fire.

The yellow protogen most likely caused that. I have no data on how they do it but all I know that they are powerful, they were the first one to kill me but thankfully my energy source brought me back. The green crystal.

If only I could fully control time itself and not only just rebuild myself when I die.

I took out a knife I stole from the ship's armory.

It wasn't originally green when I first saw it. Whenever I hold it it feels like a portion of my energy is being drained. I jumped out of the tree I was on to test what it does.

I spin the knife a couple of times and walk further away from the tree. I hold the knife by the tip of its blade and feel my claws tingling a bit, I threw it on the tree and it hits the bark. Nothing seems to be happening so I decided to take the knife back from the tree.

When I was close enough to clearly see the knife it was gone. It just dissappeared and left what looked like green mist. I felt like something was in my paw and looked at it.

It was the knife.

Null: "Huh. Teleportation?"

I thought to myself. I threw it again and it breaks a piece of the bark off the tree. I look in my paw again and it's back already.

Null: "That's neat..."

I climb back on the tree to stand on one of the branches and watch from there. The building from earlier was completely burning, the smoke polluting the air.

Null: "It's surprising how one protogen can cause all this, but then again..."

I cut my hand off using the knife, just to watch my hand come back in place in a few seconds.

Null: "I'm practically immortal."

I look back at the building to see some red vehicles have arrived and they seem to be trying to extinguish the flames. I look around and see the two protogens exiting the building without being seen.

But little did they know I was watching them the whole time.

Null: "Time to move."

I jump out of the tree and follow them from a distance.

-Elliott POV-

Me and Jay finally made it back home and all in one piece. I open the door and see Voxle watching a movie.

Elliott: "Hey, We're back. What did we miss?"

He turns to look at me and slightly tilts his head

Elliott: "The school caught fire recently, that's why Jay is still with me."

Jay: "Sup."

I walk toward my room to change clothes. I open the closet and looked for something comfortable to wear. I noticed one of my hoodies were gone but didn't mind that much as I always wear the black one. I took out said black hoodie and put it on.

It was pretty cold in here, especially while it's summer. I look at the thermostat and saw the temperature was lower than it should be. Then I noticed the air conditioners were on, no wonder it was cold in here. I head back downstairs to ask Voxle about this.

Elliott: "Hey uh, did you turn on the air conditioners?"

Voxle turns to me and I saw that he was wearing the missing hoodie from my closet. It was purple, I guess he gets a little cold too. He pats a spot next to him on the couch, asking me to sit down. He takes out a piece of paper and a pen to write something.

Voxle [P]: "It was hot, then it got a bit too cold"

Elliott: "I understand. You seem to be liking the hoodie, you can keep it. I don't really wear it that much."

He writes on the paper again.

Voxle [P]: "Thanks."

I sit back and watch the movie. Jay comes in with a bowl of popcorn and sits and watches too.

Jay: "What I miss?"

The credits start to roll on the television.

Elliott: "Everything. Don't worry I missed a lot too but hey there's still plenty of movies to watch."

Voxle hands me the remote and stands up from the couch. I look for a movie and played it. Voxle comes back with a map and a highlighter, he must  be looking for a path to his ship.

-Timeskip-

-Jay POV-

It was night and the movie we were watching ends.

Elliott: "Well I'm gonna make dinner now I guess."

Elliott stands up and heads towards the kitchen and starts thinking about what we will eat for tonight.

Jay: "Alright, I'll just sit here since there isn't much to do here."

Voxle was asleep. Probably tired of looking for the safest and fastest way to get to his ship. So much things was happening so quickly.

First my friend finds an alien and brings it here, then some dudes came in looking for it, and then the school was on fire.

Probably the most tense past few days of my life. But it was nice to see that everything is starting to calm down.

Jay: "I hope I don't jinx it and something horrible happens in the next few minutes."

I saw a faint pink and yellow glow outside the window. I got closer to look at it but when I got there it was no longer there.

Jay: "And I just did, Dammit."

-Yuni POV-

Zyphon: "You think they saw us?"

Yuni: "I don't think so but let's just grab Voxle and go."

Zyphon: "According to the tracker they should be in this house."

Yuni: "You think they're fine?"

Zyphon: "Let's just hope that they are."

-Null POV-

Null: "Finally."

I found the two protogens. They were near a house and talking about something. I looked through one of the windows and found my target, Voxle. They seem to be asleep but there is one more entity nearby. They were what seemed to be a blue avian.

Null: "I could just head in and take Voxle but that would raise too much attention so for now, I wait."

A/N:

Soooo. How was this chapter? It's been quite a while since I've written one.

I'd probably publish one chapter per week but don't expect that as stuff can be unexpected and appear out of nowhere.

Anyways this was a pretty long chapter but not compared to the other wattpad stories I've read and still reading. I just thought of adding the yogurt part of the story would be funny and make this chapter a bit longer.

Also I made a little something from a game using the game on Roblox.

Not necessarily part of the story but just thought it'd be cool to just leave it here. (also can you tell which game the sword was from?)
