Third Person's POV

While the Vigilante Guardians were having a meeting to save the Vigilante Supremo, their leader was at the center of Seoul being held captive by the Crimson Crew.

After days of being unconscious because of her accident and because of the drug being administered to her body every day, Yuri finally gained consciousness. She opened her eyes to a well-lit hotel room but her limbs were tied using thick chains. She tried breaking through but it was impossible.

After staying there for what seemed like forever for Yuri, the door finally opened revealing a figure of a guy she knew well.

"Amaranth," She groans as she feels the wounds that she got from forcing the chain.

"Supremo," He bows to show his respect to the younger. Yuri could only nod to return the regards.

"Your members, they're coming for you in a few hours. You need to drink this to counter the effects of the poison they injected on you." Bohyun whispered the last part and discreetly slipped a small bottle of antidote inside Yuri's jacket along with the keys to free her from the chains but he made it seem like he was hurting the younger because they both were aware that they were being watched.

Like what Bohyun had narrated, Yuri's members came for her. Soon, Yuri heard the door of the room opening along with curses from her members who were tied the same way Yuri was. Yuri pretended to be asleep as she waited for the shadows' signal.

Yuri was also given an earpiece courtesy of Ahn Bohyun.

Yuri wanted to shut her member's mouths as they continued to complain but she simply couldn't blow her cover so she remained calm despite the bubbling annoyance forming inside her chest.

"Yuri, you're clear now." It was her best friend, Kim Minju.

"Ryujin, shut your fucking mouth." She grunts as she tries to sit properly. Her action earned a gasp from Ryujin.

"Yuri, gosh."

Before anyone could further react, they heard a voice through the communicator. "Now you have the Supremo, The chains are thick but I slipped the keys inside Yuri's jacket but you have to pretend that you guys are still being held captive because the entire place is bugged. You have to sit here and wait for my signal." It was Ahn Bohyun.

"Eunbi's team, don't react and listen to me carefully." It was Minju. Despite the confusion, they listen to Minju.

"Amaranth, he's on our team. He needed to act that way because the whole place was bugged with microphones we couldn't hack into because they're older versions. Meaning, we can only disable it from the inside. Sakura Unnie, with the help of Dami Unnie and Hyejoo, already dealt with the cameras so you're free to move but beware of the sound you'll make. From this moment forth, none of you have the freedom to talk as we wait for Amaranth's cue before we leave the place. We can see you through the cameras, just wink if you understand."

"Everyone else is on standby. We're just waiting to extract the Supremo and we'll directly head to phase two of the plan."

"Also, you have to be freed from those chains and make Yuri drink the antidote Amaranth hid inside her jacket. She badly needs to take that or she'll collapse from organ failure--Hey! No, violent reactions! Calm your horses." Minju emphasized her last words. "The keys should be on Yuri's left pocket as well as the antidote. Be careful with the movements."

"Winter, you're the closest to Yuri. You can go and retrieve the said items." Chaeryeong says. Winter just nodded and proceeded to do what was asked.

Minutes have passed and they successfully removed themselves from the chains. "I just received a confirmation from Amaranth. Ladies, you're free to go."

"Open that door and turn left. There should be an elevator there." They saw an elevator and all seven of them rode it.

They all reached the bottom floor and were stuck in their places when multiple guns were pointed at them.

Chaeyeon scanned the area and saw Bohyun lying flat on the ground. "Fuck," She whispers.

"Shit, everyone the whole place is full of Crimson men! Our devices were shut down by a third party. I'm sorry, we just reloaded the whole system. Don't worry, once the system's fully loaded, I'll call for backups right away. Try to fight them off, Yena and the other lookouts are on their way there."

Yuri knew something was weird when Sakura instructed them towards the elevator. She heard something after that but she thought Sakura just turned off the devices but turns out they were hacked by the Crimsons. The shadows lost connection with the ones left out of the missions, Stray Kids' team and (G)I-DLE's team.

Soon, seven girls were fighting for their lives.

"Fuck, Yena hurry the fuck up. They're outnumbered." Sakura curses when she sees how her friends are doing.

Yena and her team were busy fighting off the men outside the hotel while the seven girls fought face-to-face with the ones inside.

"Sakura, how long will it take for you to gain contact with the backups?" Eunbi was struggling to fight but they were still doing fairly good against the Crimsons.

"Fifteen minutes, hang on. I'll send some of Yena's team to you so the numbers can be equal."

Upon hearing Sakura, the rest of the IZ*ONE members who are included in the mission came running towards where the girls were along with the rest of the LOONA members. While ITZY, Dreamcatcher and aespa stayed outside.

Sakura and the rest of the shadows remained pumped up in their seats, they couldn't do anything but guide the members to safety while waiting for the whole system to be back.

"Fuck, why is this taking too long?" Minju, Dami, and Sakura cursed at the same time. "We have no way to contact the backups without the whole system loaded up!" Sakura aggressively typed on her laptop.

Everyone was on edge until Nako stood up without any of the members noticing. She grabbed the thing she saw on the table and used it. Minutes passed and they were still cursing the hell out of the situation. They were all glued to their seats watching Sakura trying to boost up the loading process while Gowon, Ningning, and Minju took charge of the CCTVs to monitor the girls.

"Hey, everyone calm down." She said towards her shadow members, but they couldn't even spare her a glance. "No, they need our help. We haven't contacted Chan and his team yet." Jinsoul hissed.

Nako heaved a sigh before smashing the table to get their attention, "I said to calm the fuck down because Chan Oppa and his team are already there."

"How?" Sakura mumbled as she stared at her laptop's screen, it said that the reboot needed four more minutes. "How did you contact Chan and his team?"

"For someone who can memorize shit tons of codes and for people who are considered as geniuses, did it not cross your minds to use a fucking phone to message the backups?" Nako gritted her teeth because of how frustrating her members were.

The shadows had their mouths agape with Nako's statement.

"I-I d-didn't think of... t-that." Sakura admits, a bit embarrassed.

Though the lights were busy fighting on the field, they still didn't miss the opportunity to laugh at the situation.

"Damn, Yabuki just shut them down." Yuri comments, earning a snicker from Yujin, Yena, Hyewon, Chaewon, and even Winter who was silent the whole time.

"That's my girl," Hitomi laughs.

"Fuck all of you," Minju bitterly states which earned another laugh from everyone listening. It really didn't cross their minds to use any phone to contact Chan and his team because they were so pressed about the hacking situation.

"Our boys are here, let's make fun of the shadows later. Let's smash some bones." Yena says through her playful tone.

"And break some nose." Hyewon continues. Ah, classic Hyewon and Yena. The 99z duo.

"Yena, we can handle this. Take your team and join Eunbi's team."

They were split into five teams. Eunbi's team which are the six members tasked to save Yuri. Yena's team that were tasked to come with Eunbi's team. Both Yena and Eunbi's team are called lights, the ones that will physically be in the mission. Sakura's team are the communicators or what the guardians called the shadows. Chan's team which are the backups. Lastly, Soyeon's team, the ones left at the mansion for safety purposes.

When Stray Kids, TXT, The Boyz, Ateez, NCT, Treasure, ENHYPEN, and the rest of the boys from Vigilante Guardian came, they had more chance against the Crimsons.

When the lights reunited, they seemed unstoppable. While the members fought the Crimsons. Yujin, Chaeyeon, Yuri, and Chaewon took Bohyun's body to move him somewhere safer.

"Damn, they keep coming." Hitomi grunts. It was true, the Crimson Crew seemed to have a lot of members which was four times larger than the Guardians.

"My muscles are gonna be sore after this," Karina stretched her arms after punching a Crimson Crew in the guts. She glanced at Winter who was expertly taking down the Crimsons by shooting them with a pistol.

"Nice shot, Win," Yuna complimented the older through the pods. "Gosh, I wish I was there so I could bejewel them using Miss Sparkles," She adds, which earned yet another laugh from the Guardians.

"I miss playing with Miss Sparkles," Winter replies with a cold voice. "Me too, I should've borrowed it from you when I had the chance," Chaewon adds with a voice as cold as Winter's. The holy trinity of Vigilante Guardian's marksmen. It's funny how those three are often put together on big missions because they're great at long combats but their personalities are far apart from one another. Winter and Chaewon are almost identical twins; they have uncanny similarities with one another and then, there's Yuna. The chaotic and childish Yuna always carries her sparkling gun.

Miss Sparkles was the name of Yuna's gun that was filled with sparkles. Pretty but deadly. Yuna wanted to be part of the Lights but she lost a bet along with Lia so both were forced to stay as shadows for this mission.

While they continued to fight what seemed like an infinite amount of the Crimson Crew, on the other side, Yuri caught a glance of the person behind all of this. Ahn Junmyeon, Yujin's Dad. Beside him was a face familiar to Yuri, the face of someone who used to be his dad's comrade. It was Lee Chaeyeon's dad. He was on the 3rd floor looking down at the commotion that was happening below. He almost seemed like a god overlooking his creation and Yuri wanted to wipe that smirk out of his face.

"There's more?!" Giselle groans as she falls on the floor along with the Crimson Crew she kicked.

"Jesus, Yujin where did your dad get this many people?" Hitomi asked her friend as she swung her baseball bat to smash into their enemy.

"I didn't know the Crimson Crew were this much! I swear!" Yujin yells defensively, she really didn't know the Crimson Crew had a lot of members.

"Your dad has a lot of minions but none of them are good at combat, they're just a bunch of energy-consuming morons." It was Olivia Hye, the member who barely talked. It was the first time they heard the girl talk since the mission started.

Even though they already sent backups, they couldn't deny that they were still outnumbered by a bunch of Crimson idiots.

"There's a lot of them but none are worth fighting! Yujin, did your dad randomly pick up people from the streets? Holy shi--Ryujin, duck!" Yena didn't have time to finish what she wanted to say and did a roundhouse kick to eliminate the enemy behind Ryujin.

"Just shut up and finish the mission," Chaewon had to step up to shut her members off because it was annoying the former.

"IZ*ONE, nine o'clock. The supremo's going up." Sakura alerted her members. While they were busy fighting and dissing the Crimson Crew, no one noticed that Yuri had managed to slip away to go to where Yujin's dad was until Wonyoung pointed Yuri's location through the CCTVs.

"Fuck, I think we need to get inside. Ningning, take over. I'm taking my members, we're switching from shadows to lights." Sakura switched places with Aespa's youngest in which the latter just nodded whole-heartedly. Sakura turned to her members, "Won, Min, and Nako we need to head there the supremo needs us."

Nako, Wonyoung, and Minju just nodded but before heading out of the shadow's lair, Sakura turned to Ningning and gave her a meaningful stare. Minju and Nako couldn't protest with Sakura's sudden decision to switch mission positions because they knew how Yuri's mind works, they all had a hunch that Yuri needed her members the most right now. Every single one of them.

Sakura didn't waste time and asked her members to gear up as she sped their way through the highway to be there on time. Thankfully, Ningning helps her clear up the street for a smooth travel.

On the other hand, upon hearing Sakura's warning regarding Yuri's situation, the IZ*ONE members who were lights didn't hesitate to follow the younger. Leaving the lobby under Haseul's care.

...

Yuri headed straight towards Yujin's dad and Chaeyeon's dad. All her rationality left her body, all she could think of was that those two were the cause of too many deaths. Yuri's dad, Chaewon's dad, Yena's dad, the previous guardians, and all the innocent citizens who died because of them. They were the reason why Yuri along with every member of the Vigilante Guardian, especially the second generation and the third generation, lost their childhoods.

All Yuri could see was red. She disregarded the desperate calls of her members.

"Yuri, where the fuck are you?" It was Kim Chaewon, who was dead serious.

"Yuri, don't go there alone!" It was Eunbi with her authoritative voice.

"Yul, please, wait for us!" It was Yena begging.

Still, they didn't get any answers from the younger. They were baffled because Yuri just disappeared after they saw her on the stairs.

"Yuri, I won't repeat this again. Where the fuck are you?" Eunbi's tone shifted. It was nothing like they'd heard before. It was scary, thrice as scary as Yuri's voice when she introduced herself as the Raven.

"Leave me alone, Unnie. I can handle this, stay in the lobby. I'm ending this for good." They all groaned in frustration when they heard Yuri's answer. They heard a familiar sound of a broken radio.

"Fuck your stubborn ass, Jo Yuri," Hitomi uttered with much frustration. She really hated how hardheaded her friend was. Yuri just disconnected her communicator from the rest of her members.

"Sakura," Eunbi called the younger who just arrived with Minju, Wonyoung, and Nako. "On it," Sakura immediately understood what Eunbi meant. She clicked something on her digital watch and within seconds, she turned to Eunbi.

"She's on the 9th floor and it seems like the elevator's heading towards the rooftop."

"Rooftop? What the fuck is she doing there?" Hyewon hissed. They really couldn't predict Yuri and it's frustrating.

"The chopper," They turned their head towards Bohyun who was now conscious. "Yujin's dad had me set up a chopper there yesterday."

"Something's not right," Chaewon mumbled to herself but it was audible to the rest of the girls.

...

Jo Yuri's POV

"Leave me alone, Unnie. I can handle this, stay in the lobby. I'm ending this for good." After I said that, I turned my communicator off and continued to make big strides towards the devil's incarnation. I knew my members were pissed off by my actions but I needed to settle this on my own. I can't risk them, not anymore. They'll understand me.

"Well, well, look who we have here?" When I got off the elevator, I turned my head towards the Crimson head. "Finally we meet with your true skin, Vigilante Supremo," It was a simple greeting from Ahn Junmyeon but the way he said my title was dangerous. I mean, he is a dangerous man.

I knew he was heading here because Amaranth told me 'bout his escape plan. It was to lure me into going to the rooftop and killing me on the spot. Why not go along with his plan?

Surprisingly, no one was there except Yujin and Chaeyeon's Dad. The sky was painted pink and orange. The sun was setting and it would've been a romantic scene for I wasn't with my enemy.

"It's not nice meeting you but it's fine, This will be the last time because you're dead by tomorrow." I took a glimpse at the sky, remembering a certain person who resembled a duck. I swore on the pink skies that once all of this was done, I'd settle down with Yena Unnie. It's about time I seal the deal with Choi Yena, my solace.

Ducky, wait for me, alright?

"Hi, Uncle!" I turned to Chaeyeon Unnie's dad and addressed him using the honorifics I've been calling him since I was a kid. He was my Dad's best friend. One of the original guardians but things happened and now, he's a puppet to a dickhead.

He didn't reply and just avoided eye contact. I stopped looking at Mr. Lee when I heard an annoying squeak.

"Oh how brave of you, Jo Yuri. You're just a child, you're nothing without your flashy title." Mr. Ahn's failed attempt to taunt me but didn't I just gave him a blank stare before letting out a laugh.

What a lame excuse.

"If I'm nothing without my title then you're just a moron who pretends to be a leader." I stop for a while before walking towards Mr. Ahn in fashion. "My, My, Mr. Ahn,  what would your minions think if they found out you let a kid trick you?"

"You may have tricked me one time, but I still have the upper hand. I killed your father and the original guardians. It won't be hard for me to get rid of you. I managed to defeat those guys and it won't be hard to destroy a girl like you."

"A girl like me?" I scoffed. If there was something I hated about the Crimson head, it was his misogynistic beliefs. He is a patriarchal asshole who believes that women are to be loyal servants of men. For years, many clans were afraid of him and he made them worship his fucked up logic. He despises the thought of women leading, that's why Yujin never got to be his successor.

"You have a wife and your daughter, yet you still think women are useless."

"I can live without them. They're just women, I can get that anywhere I'd like. At the end of the day, they'll still bow down to me."

"Bow down to you? Really? Maybe that's why your most treasured agents are both women who turned their backs on you. How does it feel to be abandoned by Scarlet and Carmine? How fucked up are you that even your own daughter left you?"

"I don't care about them, my empire is still standing even without them." Mr. Ahn insists. Gosh, he sounds pathetic.

"Not anymore. I'll make sure a woman ends your empire." I said with a playful voice.

"How will you do that if I'm already five steps ahead of you, missy?" He smirks and the next thing I know, I've felt a sharp sting on my neck.

"Fuck..." I turned around to see the culprit and there I saw someone wearing an all-black outfit. I didn't see the face but I'm sure it's a woman.

"I told you, at the end of the day, women are meant to follow my orders."

A grinning Ahn Junmyeon was the last thing I saw before everything turned dark.
