Third Person's POV

Night time came and it was already time for the barbeque party. To get the full experience, they did it by the beach with a bonfire.

While the others were preparing the food, Minju sneaks out to get something from her room. It was almost seven in the evening, as shown on the clock in the beach house's living room.

Minju thought she was alone in the house, I mean, she should be since the rest of the girls were on the beach but Minju felt someone following her.

Thinking about the security of this place, Minju sighs relief. No one can get inside here, Minju says to herself.

She proceeds to her room and rumbled around trying to look for something.

"Ah-ah found it!" Minju grabs the thing she was looking for.

"What are you looking for?" Startled by another voice, Minju couldn't help but jump in horror.

Only to see Chaewon leaning on the frame of the door with a stupid smirk.

Minju wanted to hit Chaewon with her guitar... Oh, right, her guitar.

She went back to the house to grab her guitar because it'd be too boring to have a bonfire without singing, right?

"You still play?" Chaewon chimes, staring at the familiar guitar. It was a simple acoustic guitar with Kreisha, Minju, and Chaewon's signatures and initials.

Signing a guitar as the design is the lamest thing one person can do but hey, they were too young back then.

"Yeah but it's been months since I last played." Minju hands over the guitar to Chaewon. Chaewon traces their signatures but she stops on Kreisha's.

Kreisha... Chaewon reminds herself that she still owes Minju the truth and she's gonna tell her before the day ends.

The two went back to the group and upon seeing Minju's guitar, they cheered.

"Hey, Minju you know how to play the guitar?" Hitomi asks in pure curiosity,
Minju shyly nods.

"Yuri's a really good singer, do a song with Minju!" Nako adds she got excited over the thought of Minju and Yuri doing a duet.

You can't blame Nako though, she's heard Yuri sing before and it's a shame for beautiful voices like Yuri's to be hidden. It has to be known. Jo Yuri's voice should be known. Everyone should know that Jo Yuri has the prettiest voice and Nako's proud of her for that.

As per Nako's request, Yuri and Minju discuss the song they're going to sing while the others are finishing up the preparation for their food.

Hyewon borrowed Minju's guitar and playfully strummed a tune to keep the mood up.

With Hyewon's improvised tune, Yena, Yujin, Chaeyeon, Yuri, Sakura, and Nako stands up to dance along with it.

And oh boy, Chaeyeon dances so well. Among the twelve of them, they can safely conclude that Chaeyeon is the best dancer.

Yuri and Nako pulled Hitomi and Minju who were dazed by Chaeyeon's dancing skills. Yena and Sakura pulled Eunbi and Chaewon to dance with them.

Dance. This dance suddenly brought 01z back to the time when they danced in school when someone messed with the school's water sprinklers. It was the happiest they'd been in school.

It was fun, dancing under rainbow droplets. The same feeling of euphoria came rushing back to the girls. Not even a steady minute and they're already dancing in circles not minding the rest of the world.

Oh, the joy of dancing with the person you love the most.

Dinner time came and they all finished the food in no time. Following the plan, they should be having their bonfire right now.

Twelve girls sat in circles, surrounding the fire.

Minju was strumming random songs as Chaeyeon told them the story of how she always catches Yena doing dumb stuff in school.

It was last year, Yena ditched class to attend a skateboard competition. Yena had everything planned— how she'll escape the terribly strict security of Enozi High. Everything went smoothly according to her master plan but unfortunately, Chaeyeon and another student were passing by because they were instructed to do something for a teacher.

Chaeyeon catches Yena. The rest was history. Yena was punished, Chaeyeon was praised.

Yena laughs as she tries to recall what happened that day. She was pretty dumb to come up with a plan like that, Yena disses herself.

"Chaeyeon, Yena badmouthed you a lot because of that!" Sakura announced as she points at Yena.

It was true. Yena did badmouth Chaeyeon.

"No, I didn't." Yena desperately tries to deny the truth. She was too embarrassed to admit that she might've said stuff about Chaeyeon.

"She did." Eunbi laughs. "I didn't!" Yena argues one more, she didn't want to upset Chaeyeon.

But Chaeyeon, the latter was amused. It felt new to her, finding out about how someone badmouthed her. She wasn't even mad at Yena. It happens, you know?

It was the first time it's been known to Chaeyeon that someone from school actually hated her. Chaeyeon would probably graduate as one of the kindest Student Council presidents of Enozi High.

"Chaewon, do you remember what Yena said?" Hyewon grins like a maniac. Teasing Yena never gets old.

"I do! She said in which I quote..." Chaewon stops to think of the exact thing Yena said, "Chaeyeon sucks! I thought she was kind but I'm in trouble because of her! I hate her, I won't vote for her ever again!" Chaewon even copied Yena's way of speaking even the duck lips.

It made them laugh. Hitomi stares at Chaewon. Maybe Hitomi was wrong about the latter after all. Maybe Hitomi failed to see that Chaewon was just as noisy as Hitomi. She's glad to see Chaewon like this.

"I even remember the exact clothes you wore that day!" Hyewon claims. Yena knew she was already defeated when Hyewon threw her 'I have a really good memory card'.

That's not fair, Hyewon has Hyperthymesia, Yena says to herself. 

"Okay... So maybe I did say bad things about Chaeyeon but to be fair, I wasn't close to her back then! If I had known that she was as kind as everyone says, I wouldn't have said those!." Yena admits her defeat, shamefully looking at Chaeyeon while the latter just smiles at her.

"It's fine, Yena," Chaeyeon assures her. Chaeyeon wasn't the type to hold grudges against people— except for her father, maybe.

Satisfied with the result of their mini discussion, the girls proceed to a simple game of spin the bottle.

With the short game of truth or dare, they found out a lot about each other. About Hyewon's first kiss, why Yena cried because of her kiss, Sakura and Nako's reason for moving to Korea, and a lot more trivial questions.

It was a chance for them to know each other more.

Looking back on this trip, they realized that they didn't know much about each other but that's fine. They have all the time in the world to get to know each other. It wouldn't take long for them to memorize each other's traits. As I said, they have all the time in the world.

With everyone pressuring Minju to play her instrument, she finally whips it out to give her audiences what they want.

She started strumming a song she knew all of them knows.

With the familiar tune filling up the whole space, they all looked at one another with smiles written on their lips. Thankful for each other's presence.

"Your hand fits in mine like it's made just for me But bear this in mind, it was meant to be." Minju starts singing, they were surprised to hear Minju's soft voice. It was soft, just like Minju. 

"And I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks and it all makes sense to me..." Sensing Minju's nervousness, Yuri, Hitomi, and Nako joins Minju. Now, the 2001's singing and it sounded so good. Minju smiles upon realizing that whatever she does, Yuri, Hitomi, and Nako will always have her back. It warms her heart. Oh to be surrounded by people who are good for you.

"I know you've never loved The crinkles by your eyes when you smile you've never loved your stomach or your thighs. The dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine
But I'll love them endlessly." Yena and Chaewon joins, creating another layer that made the song even richer.

The rest joins. With Minju's signal, they all the chorus in complete Unison. It was the most beautiful sound they have ever heard. The sound of twelve girls pouring their hearts out singing a song from One Direction.

"You can't go to bed without a cup of tea and maybe that's the reason that you talk in your sleep and all those conversations are the secrets that I keep Though it makes no sense to me." As if planned, 2001 line, Wonyoung, Yujin, and Chaeyeon stop singing. The only ones that were singing were Eunbi, Sakura, Hyewon, Yena, and Chaewon. The members of eyes. They weren't sure if it was pure coincidence or what.

"I know you've never loved the sound of your voice on tape. You never want to know how much you weigh. You still have to squeeze into your jeans but you're perfect to me." Hitomi, Nako, Hyewon, Sakura and Wonyoung sings this time.

"I won't let these little things

Once again, all of them sang in unison. Their too perfect for one another that even their voices fit each other so well.

"You'll never love yourself half as much as I love you and you'll never treat yourself right darlin' but I want you to. If I let you know I'm here for you. Maybe you'll love yourself like I love you, oh." Yujin, Chaeyeon, Eunbi, and Minju beautifully sang this part with a little adlib from Yujin and Eunbi along the way.

"I've just let these little things slip out of my mouth 'cause it's you oh it's you it's you they add up to and I'm in love with you and all these little things." Yuri, Yena, and Chaewon looked each other in the eye and decided to sing this part. And again, for the nth time, they were shocked at how well the three sang. They could even form a trio musician if they wanted.

"I won't let these little things

But if it's true

It's you
They add up to
I'm in love with you."

Without agreeing, they all let Minju wrap up the song. Minju chose this song, it's only right for her to finish it and so Minju did and she did it so well.

"And all your little things."

With the final strum of the guitar and the final line of the song, they sang in unity. A new breathtaking sound had been made by twelve girls. 

It was a song from the band One Direction but they all sang it as if it were their own. They all knew that this song would never be the same after this.

It's always the little things. Isn't it romantic how little things comes a long way? We always fail to notice the little things blinded by the bigger ones but they're always there. They can make you way happier than you give them credit for.

And with each other, they learned to appreciate all the little things for, without those, their friendship would be boring as hell. And without all the little things, they'd be nothing.

And in the midst of disasters, those little things will remind us to hold on. 

So with all the little things in mind Eunbi, Sakura, Hyewon, Yena, Chaeyeon, Chaewon, Minju, Nako, Hitomi, Yuri, Yujin, and Wonyoung held on.
