Miyawaki Sakura's POV.

"Yah, Chan show yourselves, you're not pulling some anonymous slash mysterious shit here." I laughed at Hyewon's words. I wasn't surprised when all the division leaders came out.

Stray Kids. TXT. Aespa. Weeekly. (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher. Itzy.

The siren is Vigilante Guardian's own siren. When I first heard the siren, I couldn't help but question how the other divisions knew that something was happening but seeing how Chaewon acted, I figured that Chaewon called backup.

"Yuna, you still bring your gun filled with stickers?" Yena teased Itzy's youngest but she just stuck her tongue out, "Hey, I like the bling bling, it's cute!" Yuna argues.

It is an inside joke among us Guardians how cute Yuna's gun looked with all the diamond stickers she put on them but it contrasts her shooting skills. Aside from Chaewon, Yuna had one of the best skills in handling guns.

They're here. Thank goodness they're here. I was able to breathe properly when I saw all of them greeting each other except for Chaeyeon, Yuri, Minju, Nako, Hitomi, Yujin, and Wonyoung who are confused because I know they recognize everyone there.

All the division leaders are from Enozi High.

I looked at Chaewon, she was staring at Bang Chan and I saw how Chan winked at her. I swear to god these two.

"Who are you?" One of the men asked, they're not sure if they'll aim at us or the Guardians. They were not expecting us to have backups.

"Us?" Soyeon walked closer to the men, playing with her gun. "I'm a lion, I'm a queen." She roared.

Silly Soyeon, she never changed. She has always used that line ever since she joined the Guardians. Because of the times we spent together, I have learned to accept that she's not Jeon Soyeon if she isn't a lion, a queen.

"Soyeon-ah, you still use that line?" I teased her. Soyeon rolled her eyes. "Soyeon Unnie, I know you're idle's leader but that line is so old, you're embarrassing me." Shuhua fans herself, Soyeon was about to run towards Shuhua to give her a good beating when Soojin got in the way. "Soyeon, we're not here for that. Shuhua, stop wasting time we still have to take care of something." Soojin's voice was calm, but her stares were dangerous.

Soojin is the calmest among the six. In (G)I-DLE, Seo Soojin was always the neutral one. Even though Soyeon is the leader, Soojin is the one who takes care of them most. I just noticed that in their group.

"Right, we still have things to take care of." Yeonjun mischievously grinned at the men. The men gulped, eyes quivering. They're obviously intimidated. You know, being a Vigilante Guardian taught me that you're easier to defeat once you're intimidated. So you must never ever appear intimidated.

"Shall we?" Hyunjin asks,

"We shall." Yeji answers.

The Hwangs are at it again.

And so they did. They shot the men with no remorse but left only one. I gave Chan a look, he didn't shoot. We had our brows shot up as Chan moved to the side, letting Chaewon take his previous spot.

The last man standing, aimed at Chaewon. Chan signaled Stray Kids to aim at the guy.

What the heck are they planning?

"Chaewon, back up! It's dangerous!" Minju screamed at Chaewon.

"Chaewon Unnie, Minju's right!" Nako added. "Chaewon Unnie, you're literally putting yourself in a dangerous situation!" Wonyoung, too.

I know Chaewon, she won't budge even if we tell her to but I saw how she softened when Wonyoung screamed at her. We're all soft for Wonyoung because she's Jang Wonyoung. And Jang Wonyoung is our only baby ever.

Chaewon looked back, giving Nako and Wonyoung a wink with the widest smile she could ever give. Since when did Kim Chaewon turn into a dork? She also turned to Minju and gave her a flying kiss. What the fuck? Minju rolled her eyes, "Kim Chaewon I swear to God if you get shot, I won't ever talk to you again." Minju said through gritted teeth, Chaewon just laughed as she winked at Minju.

Since when did Chaewon act like this? I've known Chaewon for the longest time and she never acted like this in front of us. It feels weird seeing her all goofy.

While that happened, the guy probably took it as an opportunity so he tried to run towards Chaewon but Felix shot him in the legs before he can even take a step forward, "I won't do that if I were you." His voice was deep with a hint of mischief.

The guy couldn't do anything but stay on the ground because he was wounded.

Chaewon walked closer to him, "Who sent you?" Chaewon held the man's chin, making it face her. She was kneeling to meet the man at eye level.

That's the Chaewon I grew up with. It's crazy how Chaewon has two moods that's like the south pole and the north pole. Who would've thought that Enozi High's Ice Princess can be the fluffiest, the softest baby?

Stray kids were still aiming at the guy.

Honestly, the man looked young. Probably a few years older than me? He looked like he was in his mid to late 20s.

"N-No one! I'm not telling you anything!" The guy looked at Chaewon, eyes determined but Chaewon couldn't care less.

She laughed. It was wicked.

And it's dangerous when Chaewon laughs. It always never means well. Once Chaewon laughs in combat, that means you fucked up.

"Alright, suit yourself." She responded, the guy sighed relief when he heard Chaewon's statement but her face dropped when he listened to the next words Chaewon said, "But you see, there are 8 groups here and each member of each group has one gun. If you count each member, there are a total of 37 people, right? And I heard my friend brought five more guns so if we do all the math, that'll be 42."

"From 1-10, how painful do you think it'll be once 42 people shot you all at once?"

She lazily pointed her gun at the guy's forehead which earned a gasp from both the guy and some of our friends, "Or should we shoot you one at a time?"

I almost shivered when I heard Chaewon's voice. Jeez, if I were in his shoes, I'd be scared as hell. As much as I want to baby Chaewon, she's the scariest among all eleven of us. I don't want to get to her bad side.

"I won't tell you anything, Young girl!" He screamed at her. Oops, wrong move.

Everything went silent until a slapping sound was heard. Chaewon slapped the guy so hard it resonated around the whole place. "Don't make me repeat what I said." Chaewon gritted, she was obviously starting to get pissed. Chaewon is usually the patient type but this guy kept on getting to her bad side. Poor him, Kim Chaewon isn't someone you want to annoy.

Winter stepped up and held Chaewon's shoulders, "Calm down, Chae, I'll handle this."

Minjeong gave her a smile that gave assurance to Chaewon, she stepped back and let Winter handle the guy.

I have no idea how they became friends but she's one of the very few friends Chaewon made in Vigilante Guardians.

But everything became a ruckus when Chaewon backed down, the guy pushed Winter and took a pill on his wrist, swallowing it. Thankfully, Chaewon caught Winter just in time.

"Cyanide! He's poisoning himself!" Dami panicked. We all went closer to the guy. "If he dies now, it'll be harder for us to get information regarding this case."

"Thanks, Monday, we already figured that part out," Yena interjected, Monday just shrugged. 

If he dies, we won't be getting any clues. He can't die. I was panicking and I saw how everyone was doing the same. Taehyun, Seungmin, and Miyeon Unnie went to the guy. They tried their best to stop the poison from being fully spread on the guy's body.

There are Guardians who acted as medics. And Seungmin, Miyeon and Taehyun are one of them. Each group has at least one medic for everyone's safety.

I couldn't help but look at the guy while his mouth bubbled, the poison is probably already spreading fast enough to kill him within the next hour. He's so loyal. He's willing to risk his life for whoever is behind this. Does he know that whoever paid him to do this probably doesn't care about him?

Seungmin tried to revive the guy. He tried chest compressions hoping to keep his heart beating. When Seungmin got tired, he switched with Taehyun. While Seungmin rests, Miyeon kept track of the guy's pulse.

She sighed, "His pulse is getting weak." 

It went on for a while. Until Miyeon stood up, stopping Seungmin "He's dead. 1:51, that's his time of death." She said discouraged. We all had no choice but to accept it. It's not like we can revive a person, we're not Gods.

"Seungmin, Taehyun, and Miyeon thank you. Let's leave this place now." Eunbi Unnie gave them a smile. I sighed, the vibe is too heavy. We thought we had a lead, it was false hope.

Right at that moment, the Vigilante Guys except for Seungmin and Taehyun just got back. They went around the place to make sure that no one is there.

"What's the status?" Karina joined the conversation. We all listened intently as Huening Kai spoke, "The whole vicinity is clear, we're safe to leave if you guys are ready."

"The path?" I asked.

"We already contacted the subordinates left in the Mansion to secure us a safe path to use. Everything's clear, they're just waiting for Eunbi Noona's go signal." Changbin showed me the map provided by the other Guardians. I gave him a small nod.

Alright, everything's set. I stared at Eunbi Unnie trying to figure out her plan. We were all waiting for her. "Let's head back home now." With that, we all agreed to split up and take different vans. There were eight in total, each group had one van. Someone must've driven Eyes' van that is rotting in the Vigilante Mansion's garage.

We were on our way to where they parked the vehicles. Hyewon and I were together. "Unnie, have you checked the path Seola Unnie gave?"

Ah, right. Seola Unnie and her groups are at the Mansion and if I am not mistaken, they're the ones who gave us the path.

I shook my head "Not yet, I'll check it now."

I got my phone out and texted Changbin to send me a copy of the map Seola Unnie sent him. I checked the path on my phone to see the accurate amount of traffic, it was okay as I expected.

I was about to show Hyewon on my screen when I heard a loud thud and what followed were a series of gasps, screams, and everyone calling one person's name.

As if it's reflexes, I turned around and what welcomed me was the sight of Chaewon lying on the ground unconscious.

"Chaewon!" We all huddled around her, Hyewon quickly checked Chaewon's pulse. She was passed out.

Hyewon cursed, "Fuck, she's been shot! Jesus, I forgot to tell you guys but Chaewon took a bullet for Sakura Unnie earlier." She took a bullet for me? Chaewon did what?

Hyewon quickly checked Chaewon's condition. The rest of the Guardians just watched.

Hyewon checked Chaewon's side when we saw blood. She really got shot earlier, huh?

"Kim Chaewon, you brat, you didn't even bother to tell us that you're hurt?" Eunbi Unnie mumbled, she was the most protective of Chaewon. Chaewon is Eunbi Unnie's first baby and she's Eyes' maknae, after all.

"The wound doesn't look too deep, so I think her organs aren't affected but it was enough to make her lose a hefty amount of blood." Hyewon explained after checked Chaewon's wound, "Her pulse is still stable, thankfully, but we need to get her to the nearest hospit—" Hyewon couldn't finish her sentence when Minju took Chaewon and carried her.

With left brow shot up, "What? Let's bring her to the hospital." Minju said nonchalantly. Still processing everything, we stood there like fools.

Minju started walking towards our van carrying Chaewon and that's when we snapped out of it.

Right, Chaewon needs medical help.

We immediately followed Minju to the van. She gave Chaeyeon the direction to the nearest hospital. Chaeyeon decided to be our driver. Chaeyeon was listening as Minju instructed her to go to the nearest hospital.

I was seated in the passenger's seat. I watched as Chaeyeon put the address on the GPS and once she was done, I changed the address to the Mansion's.

Chaeyeon stared at me, "We can't go to the hospital."

Minju must've heard what I said so she interrupted, "What do you mean we can't? Chaewon Unnie is literally dying, she needs an immediate help!"

"We can't, Minju." Eunbi Unnie spoke this time, "If we go to the hospital, an investigation might happen and Chaewon will be the main victim. Don't worry, Hyewon's taking care of her while Chaeyeon drives. Chaewon will be safer if we go to the Mansion. Minju, trust me, of Chaewon's conscious right now, she won't agree to go to the hospital."

"Chaeyeon, follow the GPS. Just drive, we'll take care of Chaewon."

It was Eunbi Unnie's authoritative tone. None of us can question that.

True to Eunbi's words, Hyewon constantly checks Chaewon's condition. She was also putting pressure on the wound using a cloth. 

Yena contacted Luda because only WJSN is left at the Mansion, they were taking charge temporarily. Yena told Luda about the situation so they can prepare for Chaewon's arrival.

Phew, it has been a long day. My eyes passed by all of them. They looked so tired, it has been a very long day but I am glad that we're still going home alive and well.
