Chapter 27

I sat in the Great Hall writing down lines for being in Dumbledore's Army. I looked to my left where Fred was and he was glaring up at Umbridge. Once we were done (the whole Dumbledore's Army) we left the hall, only to be met by Cho and her traitor ways. We all went passed her, knocking her shoulders so she knew that we hated her.

I muttered the password and walked into the Common Room only to be attacked by a big hug.

"I'm so sorry." Draco whispered in my hair. I hugged him back.

"It's okay, I'm fine." I replied.

"This is all my fault." I pulled away from and looked him in the eyes.

"How can you say that? You did nothing wrong. You were just doing what you had to do, remember?" I said.

"Let me see your hand." He gestured towards it. I brought my right hand to his as he examined it.

"Does it hurt?" He asked looking me in the eyes.

"Only stings a little." I answered. "Well, I'm going to bed. It's been a long day."

"Alright, see ya tomorrow, Nyx." He whispered as I reached my dorm. I rest my head on my pillows and drifted off to sleep.

The next day I woke up, put on my Slytherin robes and headed down to breakfast. I immediately saw Draco and Blaise and sat down next to them.

"So, are you two ready for exams today?" I asked them.

"Not really." Blaise commented.

"Not in the slightest." Draco said.

"Well, one thing I can tell you is, you didn't really need to study." I whispered mysteriously.

"And what's that suppose to mean?" Blaise asked. I took a goblet and sipped on it raising my eyebrows. They waited for their answer. I put the goblet down on the table.

"You'll see." I smirked.

It was so silent in the Great Hall. All of the tables from breakfast had been gone and desks were in rows. I sat there answering questions and questions, boredom filling my mind. What was taking them so long? I asked myself. Then we all heard a big bang from outside the classroom. I smirked knowing what it was, while everyone else ignored it. The banging continued to get louder, so Umbridge decided to take action and open the doors to look out. We all paused from our exams to see what was up.

We waited for another sound to commence a small spark came into view and into the classroom exploding into a bigger firework. Then, out of nowhere, Fred and George came zooming in on their brooms, tossing more fireworks into the air. Everyone broke out in cheers as their papers went flying. I gleamed up at Fred and George who had just high fived each other. I looked over at Umbridge, her face made me laugh out loud. One of the fireworks chased Draco around. I laughed at him as he stood scared behind me.

"So this is what you were talking about?" Draco yelled over the crowd's cheers and laughter.

"Yes indeed." I chimed.

"Ready when you are!" I heard Fred yell, gesturing towards the big firework in his hand. George nodded at him and Fred let the firework burst into a big flaming dragon. It chased Umbridge out the doors and closed its jaws on her sending sparks to each of the rules hung up and shattering them.

Fred and George made their way out of the Great Hall and into the sky. All of the students raced outside watching as the twins sent fireworks into the letter 'W' for Weasley (obviously).

I looked around to see that neither Harry, Ron , or Hermione were there. I found Neville and Ginny and told them that we needed to go help. We stomped through the corridors, wands in hands, trying to find the three. I suddenly felt a hand grip my arm. I turned to see Draco dragging me and Goyle dragging Neville.

"Where are you taking us, Draco?" I whispered.

"Umbridge, she asked us to collect as many of you as we could. Just play along." He whispered back. We made our way up to her office and entered loudly.

"Caught these two trying to help the Weasley girl." Draco spat and pushed me next to the others.

Harry was tied up and in a chair while we were standing with the Squad. Umbridge leaned in close to his face. "You were going to Dumbledore, weren't you?" she said.

"No." Harry answered only to get slapped in the face.

"You sent for me Headmistress." A dull voice, only to be Snape's came in the room.

"Snape, yes, the time has come for answers weather they want to give them to me or not. You brought the Veritaserum?" she asked.

"I'm afraid you've used up all of it interrogating students, the last of it on Miss Chang."

I felt bad for what I was saying about her. I looked at Hermione and she let out a shaky breath.

"Unless you wish to poison him, and I assure you that I have would have the greatest sympathy if you did, I cannot help you." Snape turned to leave.

"He's got padfoot. He's got padfoot at the place where it's hidden." Harry practically yelled.

"Padfoot, what is padfoot, exactly what is he talking about Snape?" she questioned. Snape turned around.

"No idea." He muttered and left.

"Very well then, you give me no choice then, as this is an issue of Ministry security, you leave me with...no alternative. The Cruciatus curse ought to loosen your tongue."

"That's illegal." Hermione mentioned.

"What Cornelius doesn't know, won't hurt him." Umbridge said turning a picture of the Minster down. She pointed her wand at him and opened her mouth.

"Tell her Harry!" Hermione blurted.

"Tell me what?" she asked.

"Well if you won't tell her where it is, I will." Hermione said.

"Where what is?" her voice rose in anger.

"Dumbledore's secret weapon." Hermione stated. Umbridge untied Harry and made Hermione and him lead them to where the 'secret weapon' was. Meanwhile, the rest of us were stuck up here with the Squad. Once they had left, Draco's grip on me loosened. It was quiet in there, for once.

Ron reached inside his pocket, pulling out some candy.

"What's that?" Crabbe asked.

"Candy, I'm hungry." Ron lied.

"We're hungry too, give it to us!" Goyle grabbed it from Ron's hand and shared gave some to everyone else. He came over to Draco.

"Don't take it." I muttered through clenched teeth. Draco turned down the candy as the rest of them popped it into their mouths. They all chewed slowly, and then up it came. Ron had given them Puking Pastilles, quite brilliant if you ask me. I turned to see the others push their way through the office looking at Draco.

"Go!" He yelled. I walked away from him mouthing 'thank you' as I exited. Luckily Harry and Hermione had met us halfway.

"How'd you get away?" She asked us.

"Puking Pastilles, it wasn't pretty." Ginny responded. Ron gave back their wands to them.

"Told them I was hungry and wanted some sweets, of course they told me to bugger off and ate the lot themselves." He chuckled at this. "The only smart one was Malfoy."

"I told him not to take it, just in case." I said sheepishly.

"That was clever Ron." She smiled at him.

"It's been known to happen." Ron sounded a bit sad that they didn't expect it.

"It was brilliant!" Neville chanted. "So, how're we getting to London?" he asked Harry.

"Look its not like I don't appreciate everything you've done, all of you, but I've got you into enough trouble as it is." Harry started to walk off without us.

"Dumbledore's Army was supposed to be about doing something real." I stood up for the group. "Or was that just words to you?"

"Maybe you don't have to do this all by yourself, mate." Ron said. Harry looked at each of us.

"So how are we going to get to London?" he asked.

"We fly of course." Luna smiled sweetly.
