What the Mythological? Or is it Magical?

Hello again! It's been a few days, because I needed a small break and have been / still am pretty busy. But, nonetheless, I'm here now, so let's get this show on the road! Oh by the way for my own purposes and because I feel like it, I'm making it so that Seth and Kendra's parents aren't there right now. Imagine they are wherever you feel like. I dunno. I forgot to make something up in an earlier chapter so yeah this is my lousy excuse now so deal with it.

Blackjack: *flies in* Boss said he would get me doughnuts if I said something, so here I am. Can you tell me what it is?

*Huffs*, well if I tell you, you won't need to say it. PERCY, COME TELL BLACKJACK WHAT TO SAY!

Percy: What? He doesn't know?

Apparently not.

Percy: *Telepathically tells Blackjack what to say*

*Snorts* you make a funny face when you concentrate like that, Percy.

Blackjack: Jinglebells852 doesn't own me or anyone else she writes about in this fanfiction because she isn't Rick Riordan or Brandon Mull, she only owns the plot she comes up with. Jeez, why was it such a big deal to say that? It's really not that hard, I'm a pegasus and I could say it. I mean-

Percy: *Stuffs Blackjack's mouth with doughnuts*

On with the story!!

~~~~~~~1st Person Piper~~~~~~~
These mortals, or some of them not mortals, were definitely weird. They looked regular enough, but from the way they acted, they were ready for a fight and used to it. They didn't look very threatened by me, (a big mistake, if I said so myself) but I saw a few of them eyeing Katropis, which was tucked into the waist of my jeans. I shrugged off their nervous stares and decided to lighten up the mood after my big entrance.
"Hey everyone! Why wasn't I invited to the nearly kill each other party?!"
Percy smiled. "Hey Piper."
A young man with hazel eyes spoke up. "Are all of your friends so young?" he inquired. Percy rolled his eyes and sarcastically retorted, "No, we kick butt with boring middle-aged weirdos all the time." The man rolled his eyes back.
Annabeth let out a small chuckle. I noticed for the first time the captive that Percy had mentioned on the iris message. It was a woman with good looks and curly dark brown hair. She looked vaguely bored, for a person with a magical sword at their throat.
"Let's all sit down and get this over with. Then, hopefully, we will never have to bother each other again," Annabeth said in a firm tone. I nodded and cracked my knuckles, stepping forward.
"Okay," I said, making sure to lace some charmspeak into my words, "I need everyone to tell the truth when answering every question I ask you. You know what, you want to tell the truth." I saw most of them vaguely nodding, and smirked. "Alright then. Let's do a test run. Raise your hand if you're intimidated by me or think I could best you in a fight." I saw a girl who looked about my age, maybe a little younger, with straight dirty blonde hair raise her hand nervously. A boy who had similar features to her, except for his dark brown hair, and looked around 13 also raised his hand, although a bit more hesitantly. An old woman and man also lifted their hands. (Don't kill me for having Grandma and Grandpa Sorenson think they can't win, it's just they have experience and know that looks don't tell everything, and also they know their own limits from old age. Also, Seth would say he could, but on the inside I think he knows he can't because of his experiences.)
"Great!" I said with a smile and clapped my hands together. "Now, I'll tell you why all of you should. Percy, would you mind punching yourself in the face for me," I said, turning to the son of Poseidon. He promptly did what I had requested.
"Ow, Piper, I hurt," he complained, rubbing his cheek. I rolled my eyes. "Get over yourself kelp head," I teased.
"Well, now you all see I can make you do anything I want you to, and this dagger isn't for nothing either," I said, pulling the weapon into my hand with a flourish. Everyone now looked extremely nervous and began fidgeting around.
"Oh, don't do that, you look like you're all gonna pee yourselves," I reprimanded playfully. This only made everyone seem more scared.
"Piper, stop playing around, just tell them not to lie and we'll get to asking the questions," Annabeth said. I nodded.
"Yeah, don't lie when answering any of our questions, it's a really good idea and you all agree that you should tell the truth" I charmspoke. I had a feeling that after my demonstration, they might have told the truth without my magical instructions, but better safe than sorry.
"Okay," Annabeth began, "Are any of you half bloods?" Every single one of them looked confused and shook their heads 'no'.
"Huh, weird," I commented. "I was getting a sort of fighty-hero vibe from some of them. Whatever."
"Anyway," Annabeth said, "What's special about you then, one at a time. Uh, Stan, you first."
"I'm the caretaker of this property, and also the head of the Knights of the Dawn," the old man, Stan, said.
"Ruth?"
"I'm the assistant caretaker."
"Okay then. Pretty normal sounding, except for the knights thing... what about Warren?" Annabeth asked.
"I'm a member of the Knights of the Dawn and a former albino," the man with hazel brown eyes, Warren, answered.
Percy snorted. "Excuse me? How could you be albino and then... not be albino?" he laughed.
"This magical creature called a revenant turned me into a catatonic albino for a few years. I don't really remember much of it."
Percy blinked. "Wow, okay then, definitely not what I was expecting."
Annabeth sighed. "Okay. How many of you are members of this 'Knights of the Dawn'?"
Almost everyone raised their hands, except Ruth, some guy with long, silvery hair, and a tall guy with big ears who looked similar to Warren.
"Wow, okay then," Annabeth said. "I'll ask more about that later. Okay, Kendra, is anything special about you other than that you're in the Knights of the Dawn?"
"Well, yeah, actually," Kendra said, chuckling slightly. "Yeah, I'm fairykind. No, not fairy-struck, fairykind. I get that a lot. I also killed the King of the Demons, Gorgrog, when Zzyzx was opened a little while ago."
I caught Percy whisper, "More evil things to fight?!? Do we have to fight demons?!" to Annabeth. She just shook her head 'no', but uncertainly.
"I wasn't going to say fairy-struck," Annabeth said, "I don't even know what that or fairy kind is." Kendra and the others looked extremely confused.
"But how do you not know about that fairy stuff?" the younger boy asked, "you guys seem like you've been part of the magical world for a while."
"Mythological, Seth" Nico corrected offhandedly.
"No," the boy, Seth, said, "Magical."
Nico rolled his eyes. "Call the stuff whatever you feel like," he said.
"Guys," Annabeth said, "These two dorks might actually be onto something."
Seth's eyes lit up. "Thanks! Wait... dork?!" He frowned.
"You're calling the things hidden from most people the magical world, and we call it the mythological world."
"Well, yeah," Kendra said, "I mean, sure satyrs and nymphs and things like that are in, what... Greek mythology? But that's just because... well that kind of thing is complicated."
Annabeth smiled. "Yeah, we're definitely not part of the same worlds. Well, guys, do we want to tell them what we are?"
"You're not human?!?!" Seth exclaimed.
"Fifty percent," I said, shrugging.
"What about the other half?" he asked.
"I was getting to that," Annabeth said. "So, for us, everything we are involved in that is... abnormal is part of Greek mythology. Because Greek mythology was and is real. Yes, the gods are still alive today, and they have moved with the heart of the west all around the globe. First, to Rome, which is where the Roman gods were started, then around Europe and other places, then finally here, to America. Currently, Mount Olympus is on the 600th floor of the Empire State Building."
"The Empire State building doesn't have 600 floors," Kendra said with a frown.
"Magic," Annabeth explained. This seemed to satisfy everyone.
Suddenly, Seth's eyes went wide. "Wait, so are you guys... gods?!?!" he exclaimed.
Kendra rolled her eyes. "No, you idiot, they said they were half human."
Seth gasped again. "Are you guys half satyr?!?"
Percy burst out laughing. Kendra rolled her eyes. "Why would that be the first thing you think of?" she asked Seth, exasperated.
Percy had regained his composure by then. "Nah," he said, "but that would be... interesting." He chuckled again.
"No, we're not half satyr," he said, now with a completely calm voice.
"We're demigods."
