It's Time to Call Some Friends!

Good... um... *sweats nervously* time of day, everyone? Yeah, that works. I hope you enjoy this next chapter. Please don't forget to review/comment if you want to because you can and I appreciate feedback, and... enjoy! Oh, and, Annabeth, it's your turn to say the thing.

Annabeth: I already said it when neither Percy or you would say it!

Too bad, say it.

Annabeth: Fine. The person whose name is similar to mine, Jinglebells852, does not own me or any other character in this fanfiction because she is not Rick Riordan or Brandon Mull. The only thing she owns is the plot she writes.

Yay! Thank you! On with chapter six! Oh wait, sorry, dam chapter six.

*Snorts*

*Giggles*

*Falls to the floor and into a fit of laughter*

Normal person: *stares* what in the world is so funny about damn?

IT'S DAM NOT DAMN GET IT RIGHT

Enjoy :)

~~~~~~~1st Person Percy~~~~~~~
I woke up to a cacophony of shouting. Thanks to my demigod instincts, I was instantly ready for a battle. I noticed Nico supporting me - I must have been asleep. Oh, wait, I was. Because I had just woken up. Now I understood why Annabeth always called me a seaweed brain.
I stood up on my own, and Nico turned to talk with me.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, what's going on?"
"Vanessa is a narcoblix which means she can control people in their sleep, and that's what she did to you. We shadow traveled out of the dungeon and threatened Vanessa, now we're holding her hostage."
"Great. How did you know it wasn't me?"
"Annabeth told you there was a spider and you didn't care."
"Was there a spider?"
"That's what I said!"
Annabeth rolled her eyes at our antics. "Great, Percy, you're up. Vanessa is still awake so it's not her. Let me just check it is you. Favorite food?"
"Blue cookies. Blue in general."
She smiled, and gave me a small peck on the cheek. "Seaweed brain."
"Wise girl," I replied with a smirk. Then, I realized the entire household was surrounding us, waiting for something to happen. Annabeth was holding Vanessa with riptide at her throat, and we were downstairs in the living room.
"Alright then everyone," she began, "If you want to question us, fine. But it's only fair that we question you. Sadly, we don't have anyone here who has the ability to verify whether or not you will tell the truth. So, please give us the address of this house and one item that you took from us when you locked us in your dungeon. Once our friend gets here, we can exchange information and I will give you back Vanessa unharmed. Deal?"
Everyone looked uncertain, and began discussing in hushed tones. "Dungeon? And which of our friends is a lie detector?" I asked Nico in a whisper.
"Don't worry about it, you were asleep," he replied, "and she's talking about Piper, you kelp head." I nodded, my eyes widening in understanding.
Finally, Stan responded to Annabeth's proposition. "Alright. You have a deal. The address of this house is #######. (Censored because I honestly have no idea where Fablehaven is other than Connecticut) What item do you need?"
"It's a golden coin, about as big as a girl scout cookie," Annabeth stated. Oddly enough, none of them looked too confused, just surprised, as they took out one of our golden drachmas and handed it to Annabeth.
"Is your friend a unicorn?" Seth asked, earning a few exasperated stares. "What?! They're gonna be questioning us later anyway."
"Uh, no. She's not. I haven't met any unicorns personally, but I think we have some friends who have some," Annabeth replied. (If you're confused, in Trials of Apollo, there are unicorns in Camp Jupiter ;) ) This only seemed to confuse the others more.
My girlfriend tossed me the golden drachma. "Percy, go to the bathroom and Iris-Message Piper." More confused stares. "We'll answer your questions later," Annabeth reminded them.
I walked off into the bathroom, closing the door and turning on the sink. I willed the water to conjure some mist, and after playing around with the positioning a bit, a rainbow had been formed.
"Oh, Fleecy, do me a solid and show me Piper McLean at Camp Half Blood," I said, dropping the coin into the mist.
Piper appeared, seemingly in the middle of a counselor meeting. "Hey, Pipes," I said. She jumped up, startled, and turned with everyone else to look at me.
"Percy! What happened? Where are you? The last person who said they saw you, Nico, and Annabeth was Molly, one of the new campers! We were just having a meeting to discuss how to try and find you!" She exclaimed frantically.
I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly. "Well, you see... we were attacked by a load of monsters during capture the flag, so Nico shadow traveled us away, but somehow we ended up at this random house, and there are some weird mortals and some not-mortals here, but long story short we got captured and we made a deal that they can question us if we question them so we need you to charmspeak them into telling the truth. You can take Blackjack, just give him a doughnut."
Piper blinked. "Oooookay," she said, "I'll be there as soon as possible. What's the address again?"
"They told us it's ######."
"How do you know they were telling the truth?"
"We're holding one of them captive at sword-point. They trapped us in their dungeon first, but I mean we did attack them, only because they refused to let us leave..."
"Reasonable. See you soon," and with that, she swiped a hand through the iris-message. I stepped out of the bathroom back into the main room.
"Where'd your coin go?" Seth asked.
"I used it," I explained simply. Yet another million confused stares were received, and eventually we were all standing there in awkward silence, the ADHD demigods in the room getting fidgety.
"So... Do you wanna play rock paper scissors?" Seth asked, obnoxiously breaking the quiet moment.
"Uh, sure," I replied. Annabeth rolled her eyes as we began to play.
"You two are so childish," she scolded.
"Tell me about it," Kendra muttered.
After playing hand games with Seth for about ten minutes, I heard someone in the back of my mind.
Hey, boss! Where've you been?! I got doughnuts!
I smiled, and rushed for the door.
"Where are you going Percy?" Annabeth asked, exasperated.
"Blackjack's here with Piper!" I exclaimed in reply.
Before I could get out of the door, none other than Piper McLean herself strutted through the door with a flourish of her hand, the hilt of her dagger, Katropis visible at the waist of her jeans.
"Hey everyone! Why wasn't I invited to the nearly kill each other party?!"
"Hey Piper," I said, still grinning.
"Are all of your friends so young?" Warren asked. I rolled my eyes. "No, we kick butt with boring middle-aged weirdos all the time." Warren rolled his eyes at my sarcasm
Annabeth chuckled at our antics. "Let's all sit down and get this over with. Then, hopefully, we will never have to bother each other again."
Sorry that this chapter's a bit shorter than normal, but whatever. Deal with it. Next chapter will be funsies *cackles evilly*
