More Friends and Fighting Games

Alright, here's chapter Eleven! My friend, who's giving me ideas for this fanfiction, told me that I HAVE to include Tyson (I think she thinks Tyson is her biological son), so I'll start off with him doing the disclaimer, then you'll see him later in this chapter ;)

My friend: OMG YAY TYSON WHOLESOME YEEEEEEET!!!! TYSON IS BABY.

... I mean I agree and that makes sense but like

Tyson: Hi <3

My friend: TYSONNNNNN MY CHILD COME HEREEEEEEEEEE

Tyson: *smiles wholesomely* Ok! Hi human :)

Me and friend: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Tyson do you mind doing the disclaimer?

Tyson: Okay, what does that mean?

Basically tell the audience that I don't own this fanfiction. I shall now bless you with knowledge of what to say. Okie done let's go :)

Tyson: *smiles* Alright, Jinglebells852 doesn't own me or anyone else in this fanfiction because she isn't Rick Riordan or Brandon Mull. She only owns the plot that she writes :)

My friend: Wait Jinglebells you don't own me

Well yeah you're not in the story you're in the disclaimer.

My friend: Oh yeah that makes sense

(I read this disclaimer to said friend and she agrees on everything I said in it :D)

Also, some exciting news... I have finally come up with a good title for this other than 'Percy Jackson & Fablehaven Crossover'! Yes, I know it's almost over, but I think this is a fun name for it. Introducing... the eleventh chapter of... Blue Cookies and Viola's Milk! Let me know what you think of the new name, and if you think it sucks or not. I'm also gonna be naming the chapters, since I never got around to doing that. Anyway, enjoy!

~~~~~~~1st Person Percy~~~~~~~
We all decided it would be best to go back to camp now that we all knew nobody wanted to kill each other and also because Seth begged Stan to let him go meet demigods and a centaur that 'wasn't all stuck up', whatever that meant. The only centaurs I knew besides Chiron were the party ponies, and they were probably the farthest thing from rude and arrogant imaginable.
We had told the group from Fablehaven a little about camp, including Chiron, the cabins, and capture the flag on our way there. They had also informed the campers more about themselves.
One thing I didn't count on as we walked into camp (after having Nico shadow travel us there, although he had to argue with Will for a while before the Son of Apollo capitulated) was seeing my brother, Tyson.
Tyson wasn't like most people's brothers. First off, he was only my half-brother. Also, he was a cyclops. But the camp had grown to like and respect him, and I truly loved him as a sibling.
But seeing him there was a surprise. Nowadays, he was usually at Camp Jupiter with his girlfriend, Ella the harpy, doing something related to prophecies. After the Giant War, they had told us exactly what they were doing, but I had tuned out halfway through thanks to my ADHD.
Anyway, now he was standing here, waving happily at me from the border of camp, right beside Thalia's Pine.
He pointed at the newcomers and mouthed, 'friends?' to me, and after receiving a nod, his smile only increased. As soon as we crossed the borders, he tackled me in a bone-crushing hug.
Seth waved, smiling. "Wow, I've never met such a friendly cyclops!"
"Percy's brother," Tyson replied, proudly pointing at himself.
"Big guy, it's been so long! How have you been? Why are you here? How's Ella? How's everyone at Camp Jupiter?"
"Vacation," Tyson explained, "And pony said you might need help." Tyson had called Chiron 'pony' when he had first met him, and he occasionally still used the name.
Tyson then scrunched up his nose and sniffed the air. "You smell like pony too. You pony?" he asked Bracken.
Bracken chuckled nervously. "Yeah, I'm a unicorn, but I sacrificed my third horn and... it's complicated."
Piper made the universal 'stop' gesture. "Hold up, third horn? Unicorns are supposed to only have one, right?"
"We only have one at a time, yes. We shed them, sort of like baby teeth, until our third one, which is permanent. But, I'm a special case. Again, it's a long story." Us demigods nodded in understanding.
"So, where is it, then?" Kendra asked.
"Well, since none of you are half-bloods, I have to give you permission to enter, and the mist hides it until I do. So, I, Perseus Achilles Jackson, grant... um... everyone here entry to Camp Half Blood," I said.
I expected them to all 'ooh' and 'aah' over the now visible camp, but the most I got was an impressed grin, as if they were used to that kind of thing. Well, after hearing what they had been through, though, I supposed they were. We continued into camp.
Once we reached the Big House, Chiron emerged, looking warily at our guests.
"Long story, but basically they're good, there's a magical world that kind of overlaps ours, but everything's cool now," I summarized. Chiron sighed and led the residents of Fablehaven, Annabeth, Piper, Tyson, and me into the big house, all of the other campers having dispersed after coming back to camp. Will had also promptly taken a half-conscious Nico to the infirmary after our arrival.
As we sat down and Chiron got into his magical wheelchair, which the others just seemed to accept, Seth was the first to speak.
"You're not a doofus at all!" he told Chiron, who looked mildly offended, confused, and amused all at the same time.
Kendra decided it was a very good time to slap her younger brother.
"You don't just go around telling people they're not doofuses," she scolded.
"Sorry," Seth mumbled with an eye roll as he rubbed the cheek where he had been hit.
Kendra cleared her throat. "Sorry about my brother, the only centaurs he's met are really stuck up and arrogant. He's really dumb sometimes."
Chiron clearly hadn't not known anything for a while. "Alright," he said slowly.
"How about they stay the night and play capture the flag?" I proposed.
"Seaweed brain, it's not even Friday."
"Well, they're not going to be here much longer, so I'm sure we can make an exception just this once," I said, looking to Chiron. He nodded.
"I think they can probably stay here in the big house, too. It's pretty big, hence the name," Annabeth said.
"We'll only be staying the night," Stan decided, receiving a loud moan from Seth, who was then shoved by Kendra.
"We get to meet freaking half-god kids, and we only stay one night? How unfair does it get?!" the young shadow charmer complained.
"So, why capture the flag? That seems a little... dull," Warren said, ignoring Seth's comment.
I grinned. "It's not your average capture the flag game. Picture playing in a woods with occasional deadly monsters. Your teammates and opponents are all armed with deadly weapons, although there are rules that you can't kill or maim anyone else on purpose, or else no dessert for a week. But it is like capture the flag, pretty much, other than that. I guess." What a surprise, Seth was suddenly excited again.
~~~~~~~1st Person Nico~~~~~~~

After being healed and scolded by Will, dinner, and more explaining the rules of Capture the Flag, demigod edition, it was finally time to play said game.

I found it ironic that this entire situation had begun with a game of Capture the Flag, and now it would end with one. That seemed almost poetic. (I am so good at complimenting myself :D)

We weren't leaving the newcomers to face the entirety of camp on their own, although Clarisse and her siblings had seemed rather fond of the idea. Instead, they were paired up with the Athena, Demeter, Nemesis, Iris, and Apollo cabins, all randomly chosen.

Most campers seemed excited for an extra Capture the Flag for the week, although some of the newer ones looked nervous, among them being the younger girl I had found during the previous game of Capture the Flag.

We all walked into the woods after being assigned our teams, and now we were all coming up with a plan.

"First of all, I don't want to be defense again. I'm interested in seeing what these guys are made of," I said, smirking. "And luckily, Will isn't here to stop me this time, so hoorah to that."

Percy rolled his eyes and stepped up to do the rest of the talking. He was naturally a good leader, and although he wasn't as good at strategy as his girlfriend, he had seemed to pick some of her battle knowledge up.

Confession: I tuned out most of what Percy was saying until he got to me. I blamed the ADHD for only knowing that I was supposed to get the flag and shadow travel away from their defense. Although, if Will was the defense, I would be done for if he saw me use my Son-of-Hades powers for the gazillionth time in the past two days.

All considered, I assumed the plan would be reasonable and that we would do well, and charged out to go find a flag as the conch horn blew.

~~~~~~~Timeeee...Skip,Skip,SkipToMyLou!Lol~~~~~~~
After I had left the group charging with me onto the other side of the woods to find the flag, I almost immediately found trouble. It was just my luck that it was Will who I found, scouting around. He nocked an arrow and I drew my sword.
Will narrowed his eyes. "You shouldn't be out by yourself after shadow traveling," he decided, then let his arrow fly. His archery skills weren't as good as some of his siblings, although he was still pretty talented with practice. Luckily, I had been training for several years as well, and I ducked. The arrow flew past me and pierced a tree.
My boyfriend winced. "Oops, sorry dryad..." he mumbled. I took the opportunity of him being distracted to rush behind him and knock him over the head with the blunt end of my sword.
"Ow," he complained as he fell. "Sorry sunshine!" I called, before promptly running off to go find the flag.
~~~~~~~TimeSkipCuzI'mLazyAsHecc~~~~~~~

I'd finally made it to the flag. Percy had joined me on the way. Together, we walked up to it to find none other than Annabeth jumping out of the bushes to attempt to disarm and stop us. I noticed that Seth was also crouching next to a tree. He had armor on and was holding a sword. From his stance and grip, it was obvious that he didn't have much experience with the weapon, or swords in general.

Annabeth seemed to be targeting me. She had obviously figured that I would be the one to get away with the flag easiest by shadow-traveling. That was a daughter of Athena for you.

As we fought, Percy had backed up towards the tree where Seth was. I wouldn't be able to focus on Seth and Annabeth at the same time, so I figured Percy would be able to handle him.

Oddly, Percy didn't seem to see him, even though he was only feet from the kid.

"Percy!" I called out, "Seth! Behind you!" Percy gave me a confused look, glancing behind his shoulder and shaking his head. I suddenly remembered that Seth had the ability to fool everyone but me by hiding in shadows. I cursed under my breath.

"Percy, you take Annabeth. I have to get Seth. You can't see him," Percy nodded, finally catching on to the situation at hand.

Annabeth tried to follow me as I ran to attack Seth, but luckily her boyfriend got in the way.

"We meet again, Wise Girl," he said in a dramatically low voice as their weapons clashed. In the corner of my vision, I could see Annabeth roll her eyes.

I charged Seth. He seemed pretty uncertain. I used a disarming technique I had learned years ago, which worked well, then ran off the other way to get to the flag.

Of course, I had to be stopped once again by a child of Apollo.

Kayla's arrow barely missed my face. If you asked Percy, he probably would've told you that I screamed like a little girl. I did not scream like a little girl. I am 100% certain. Nope. Didn't happen.

Either way, after I did not scream, I turned to face a smirking Kayla.

"Hey Neeks," she said, letting loose another arrow, which I was barely able to dodge. When I said before that Will wasn't as good at archery as some of his siblings? Kayla was one of those siblings.

I sprinted for the flag, both girls now chasing after me with Percy behind them trying, and failing, to slow them down. I quickly snatched for the flag and drew the shadows toward me to travel away from the clearing where we had been fighting.

Spots danced in front of my eyes as I regained my balance. Suddenly, Will was in front of me.

Styx, I thought, why did I have to shadow travel to someone who is not on my team?!

I tried to swing my sword at him, but nearly fell over as I tried. Will caught me and quickly snatched the flag from my grasp.

I made a lazy move to swat him and get the flag back, but I knew all my strength had been used up from shadow traveling too much.

"Nico," Will reprimanded, "What did I tell you? You shouldn't be doing that so much. I'm gonna return the flag, then you are going to the infirmary."

"Nooo," I moaned, even though I couldn't even support my own weight. Will rolled his eyes and began leading me down the path I recognized as going back to the clearing where I had fought with Percy.

~~~~~~~1st Person Seth~~~~~~~
I had been trying my best at helping Annabeth and the other girl fight Percy and keep him from returning to his side of the creek, although I might've been more of an annoyance than an advantage.
A few times, Annabeth had swung her dagger and almost hit me, causing her to say something and me to reply, and overall slowing down the fight.
Finally, a loud horn blew. I recognized it as the conch horn that had sounded when the game had begun. Everyone else seemed to relax and put away their weapons, and I followed suit with the sword that had been supplied to me before the game.
"Did we win?" I asked Annabeth. "Hard to tell, they have to announce it and we probably won't be able to hear from here," she said.
"So, let's go find out."
