~ forelsket - the euphoria you experience when you're first falling in love
                              

Days passed by and I proceeded to loose myself to her floating swirls in the shady summer halls. Mesmerised by the way she pulled triple pirouettes on the tips of her toes while her reflection on the crystal floors dazzled my eyes, I dipped a little more into the waters of ecstacy and insanity each day.

I spent those warm afternoons peeking inside the dimly lit halls where fading sunlight filtered through the rustling curtains and amidst this nostalgia, she sparkled fairy dust on my weak heart and revived my soul, completely unaware of her silent audience lurking behind the doors.

The photographs on my wall kept increasing day by day and each of them contained a piece of her. The days, I spent staring at her dancing silhouette quietly while the nights, I spent watching my wall endlessly or lying in my bed and dreaming about her.

Slowly, she became a reason for me to wake up in the mornings. The weekends felt like autumns when I lay in bed all day long in my dorm room and for the first time in my life, waited desperately for Mondays when I'd see her sitting under the same tree with the stack of withered books around her.

Passing me a cute smile vaguely, she glanced at me every weekday while I walked downstairs at the entrance of the building with my friends. My hands developed a natural habit of reaching my camera and clicking a shot at exactly the same moment when she tucked her hair shyly behind her ear and averted her gaze to her book. I still remember that sweet 7:00 am in the morning.

Going through the dreamy summer of the 4th leap year of my life, I didn't realise the precise moment when I fell in love with Faye Pearl.
