The Eraser Brothers

A couple weeks went by before they heard about their results. They both passed and were issued Pro Hero Licenses. Now that they were Pros who could protect themselves Shota and Inko were less strict on them staying home. To show this the four of them went out to eat to celebrate.

The two of them took some time to enjoy things they didn't get to before, like the arcade, hanging out at the park, etc. They also went patrolling with their dad a few times, deciding to stay hidden from the public for as long as possible. They took out some villains, but none of the villains wanted to admit being beaten by a teenager.

That was until the Hero Public Safety Commission released an updated list of heroes. Among those listed were Mind Eraser and Quirk Eraser. Rumors began circling. Who were these two?

Hitoshi and Izuku took advantage over the fact of being underground heroes, and not having to answer to the media's barrage of questions, though they knew eventually the secret would come out. What they didn't expect was how.

Several months went by. The two had taken the day to relax and go to the arcade, since they would need to start putting together their lesson plans for next semester. The entrance exams were only 10 months away, and it was time to stop procrastinating. As they walked back home however, they ran into a dangerous situation. A sludge villain was causing massive explosions. The two could see Death Arms, Kamui Woods, Mt. Lady, and Backdraft standing around doing nothing the two approached the line.

"Sorry kids, but I'm afraid you'll have to..." an officer said.

"We're Pros too," Hitoshi said showing his license.

"The Eraser Brothers," Izuku added showing his license.

"I don't know what you're trying to pull here, but..."

"They're telling the truth," Mt. Lady spoke up, "Let them through."

"Very well, but I'm not at fault if you get hurt."

The brothers walked through the barricade and analyzed the situation.

"Is that?" Hitoshi asked in disbelief.

"Yep," Izuku responded. Though he was older now and covered in sludge the two recognized Katsuki Bakugo as the hostage and source of the explosions.

"Ideas?" Hitoshi asked.

"He's a mutant type, so I can't erase it. If his quirk allows him to change his viscosity, I can make it easier to loosen his grip, but we'll need Backdraft's help."

"What about brainwashing him?"

"Might not work, he's not exactly a human in this form... That's it, part of his form must stay consistent," Izuku said, "His eyes and mouth must be his weak spots. Those are the only places where he can be harmed.

"Backdraft quit putting the fires out and help me free Bakugo," Izuku said focusing on the sludge villain. With their combined efforts the villain was having trouble keeping together, and soon after both brothers began attacking the villain's eyes so he couldn't see what was happening. Eventually he lost his form and Backdraft was able to suck up the villain and place him in container to give the police. The only problem left was Bakugo himself. He recognized his former classmates. He felt disgusted with himself that he needed to be saved by those two.

"Hey kid, you alright?" Death Arms asked the brooding teen who just walked away in anger. "Jeez, what's his problem?"

"He's just like that," Hitoshi remarked.

As the police arrive to take the sludge villain away the brothers introduced themselves officially to the reporters who were now dogging them with questions.

"I'm Mind Eraser."

"And I'm Quirk Eraser."

"And together we are The Eraser Brothers," they finished together.

"How old are you two?"

"We're 15 as of last month," Hitoshi answered.

"What are your quirks?"

"I can manipulate the quirks of others," Izuku said keeping out anything specific.

"I can brainwash people," Hitoshi replied simply. The mood of the reporters changed drastically after that. None of them wanted to speak to him after that. Izuku could see the sudden mistrust in some of their eyes. There weren't a lot of questions afterwards, soon the two were able to leave and go home.

The next morning, the newspaper had a section with a picture of Hitoshi and Izuku on it. The two were excited to see what people were saying.

Villains as Heroes?

A new Hero Duo calling themselves The Eraser Brothers made an appearance at the scene of a crime involving a sludge villain and a hostage. Despite them only being 15, they are registered heroes and helped to bring down the villain and save the teenager in trouble. The most surprising thing about them is not their age, but their quirks. Quirk Eraser can manipulate the quirks of others, and Mind Eraser can brainwash people. It's obvious their names refer to them erasing control over your quirk and your mind, respectively. With this much power at their disposal, how long will it be before it goes to their heads? Can a quirk that imposes control over others be used for good? Or are they just pretending?

Shota had already read the paper and recognized the depressing looks on his sons' faces and gave Hitoshi a nudge. "A couple chips off the old block," he said.

"What do you mean?" Izuku asked.

"When I debuted, I was also labelled a villain. It's why I don't talk with the media, they're generally full of idiots," Shota said drinking his coffee, "The important thing to remember is you did the right thing." The two boys felt a little better knowing that and enjoyed the rest of their breakfast.

Months passed and the brothers had taken to patrolling during the day. They tried convincing their father to patrol with them, but he was stubborn.

After the first two months they noticed the media wanted to talk to them some more, but they both agreed not to. So, they ignored them. Reporters went so far as to say they'd pay them for their time, but no dice. So, they took to asking other Pros for information about them.

"The Eraser Brothers?" All Might asked, "Sure, I know those two. I met them a few years ago while I was visiting UA. They're quite a duo."

This raised eyebrows. He met them while he was visiting UA, did he mean they were at UA or he met them on the way to UA?

"No, I haven't met Eraserhead's brats," Endeavor replied, but wouldn't say more.

That confirmed a rumor that had been circulating around. Not many people knew that the hero Eraserhead existed because of his absence from the spotlight, much like his apparent offspring.

"Well, I see them sometimes on patrol," Backdraft replied, "But I don't really know them that well."

"Of course, I know them," Mt. Lady said, "I was there when they debuted."

"Yes, I know them. We met after they took their Hero Exams," Ingenium replied, "They said they plan on teaching at UA next semester, so I'm sure it will be an interesting year to come."

With that information out, the media went insane. Could it be true? Were they going to teach? Was that legal? Are they even qualified? Eventually UA had to address the rumors circulating, saying they were true and that both brothers had met all the prerequisites to teach at UA. When asked for a statement from the two soon to be teachers however, they were denied.

Hitoshi started a small hobby in this time, collecting the newspaper headlines of every job they did. Keeping them taped onto his bedroom wall. Midoriya kept to his quirk notes, working with heroes gave him a better insight to how their quirks worked and what they could do, and his notes had changed to reflect that.

Now however, was the time for the entrance exams. As the written exam was taking place, all the teachers got prepared to watch the practical. The three Aizawas, which the faculty had unanimously agreed to call, The Eraser Family, was sitting in the back corner. Shota was drinking coffee to keep himself awake, Hitoshi grabbed himself a small snack, and Izuku had opened a new notebook to catalog the quirks and students he saw.

The tests began, Izuku and Hitoshi immediately recognized one of the test takers, who looked so much like his brother, Tenya Iida. He was quick. Racking up a lot of points very quickly. They noticed two students who seemed to have remarkably similar quirks, one hardened like stone, the other like steel. One student kept "tagging" other students, copying their quirks to take down the robots and teaming up in a few cases. A couple of them focused on trapping the robots, and few focused on the deactivation buttons.

Then near the end Nezu pressed the switch to activate the 0-pointers. These robots were huge, ripping through the testing areas and causing all to flee from them. A few tried to take them down, but no luck. Recovery Girl was going to have a few visits after this test.

Unlike the other's these ones didn't have a shut off switch built in. This was meant to show the students how sometimes an obstacle is too big to overcome alone, as well as to cut down on the number those passing. Unfortunately, a girl by the name of Ochaco Uraraka was stuck under some debris and was about to be crushed by the giant robot. Everyone was running away, including Tenya. He stopped however, when he heard the girl's cries for help. Tenya turned around quickly running to the girl's side, before picking her up and carrying her away to safety. Soon after that the test was over.

The next day Nezu composed the class lists for the upcoming semester. Meanwhile, Hitoshi and Izuku were tasked with putting together the acceptance tapes since they were the new teachers.

There was one that the two took delight in, Tenya Iida's.

Later with Tenya Iida

Tenya had checked everyday like clockwork to see if his acceptance letter came. He was confident that he performed well in the written exam and kept track of the points from the practical. When it came, Tenya excitedly called to tell his brother. He agreed to meet after his patrol so they could open it together.

About an hour later Tensei arrived and walked to his brother's room. As soon as he got the go ahead, Tenya ripped the envelope open and the disc fell on the desk before starting the projection, lighting up the room. "Hello, Tenya Iida, I am Hitoshi Aizawa, otherwise known as Mind Eraser."

"And I'm Izuku Aizawa, aka Quirk Eraser," Izuku added, "I'm sure your brother Tensei mentioned us."

"But, they're my age," Tenya said confused. 'Was this a prank?' he thought to himself.

"I told you they were young," Tensei laughed at his shocked brother.

"Yeah, but I thought you were just exaggerating."

"Now let's get down to brass tax, your scores," Hitoshi said as Izuku picked up a notepad with the information.

"You performed very well in the written exam, as well as the practical. Nice job protecting Miss Uraraka, that gave you quite a few points. You didn't think the exam was only about fighting the robots, did you?" Izuku asked. This surprised Tenya as he in fact did think that was the only way to gain points.

"There was a secondary category called rescue points awarded for working together, helping others, and of course protecting others," Hitoshi explained, "You got 52 villain points, and 39 rescue points for a total of 91 points. Nice work, overall, but you can still improve."

"We look forward to seeing you in class," Izuku said. "Don't be late," he finished in a tone he picked up from Nezu, both polite but with a hidden malice. The projection ended, and Tenya didn't know if he should be filled with joy, or fear. What was waiting for him when he started his hero academia?
