"And... I don't want to simply be your friend anymore. I want to know, if you would like to have me as... as a boyfriend."

Oh no! What should I do? It's not that I love him 100%. I don't know if I should to say yes or no.

"The first time I wished I couldn't read your mind.", Guanlin said.

"I know that you like me. But I don't think that our relationship will last long. I can't love you back with all my heart like you do."

"Is it because of Joshua?"

"No, trust me. I used to have a small crush on him but it's all over. Be ready for a break up though, when we are a couple."

"I'll be able to handle it. So, is that a yes?"

"Yes"

{Mark's POV}

It's been two weeks since the last time I saw her. Guanlin was sick so he couldn't come to school on Friday. On that day, she came to school again. I made the decision to ask her about her relationship with Guanlin.

"Hi June, you came to school again?"

"Yeah.", she smiled, "where is Guanlin?"

My heart got hurt by these three words. I was afraid of asking her about Guanlin. But then I pulled myself together.

"Can it be that you're dating Guanlin?"

"How'd you know?"

"I just... heard it from somewhere." I tried my best to hold back my tears. I couldn't hold it anymore. Without another word, I ran to the park behind our school.

I sat down on the bench and let my tears flow out.

Mark come on~, be a man. Don't cry, don't cry...

"Are you okay?" That soft voice that I love to hear so much.

June sat down next to me and stroked my hair.

I sat down next to him and stroked his hair. I really don't understand why I did that, why I'm always so worried about him.

Am I falling for him? No, this can't be. I have a boyfriend, I can't fall for someone else. No no no no no.

"Yeah I'm fine." That bitter smile broke my heart. His puppy eyes were red from crying.

"Why were you crying?"

"It's nothing special."

"You can trust me."

After a long time of silence, Mark talked.

"It's because I'm jealous. I'm jealous of you and Guanlin. I wished you'd be mine. I guess I'm a step too late." Again, that bitter sad smile.

"Mark", I sighed, "you can't love me, you won't be able to handle the truth."

"What are you talking about?"

Mark, I'm Minjun. The Minjun you bully whenever you can. This is the truth that you won't be able to handle.

"Why do you love me?"

"Because you're beautiful."

"Mark, if you love me just because you think im beautiful, I won't be able to accept your love. And I already have a boyfriend. I'm sorry." I hugged him.

"I know, I know that you have a boyfriend. I lost you to Guanlin..."
