A Bully's Romance
Chapter 2

"Just a minute mom, I've almost finished", I replied.

After wearing the old fashioned clothes my mom prepared for me and the nerd glasses I got for my birthday, I went downstairs to eat breakfast. Then, I brushed my teeth and headed for school.

"Hello everyone, my name is Kim Minjun. I'm half Taiwanese and half Korean, I grew up in Taiwan. I recently moved here to Korea so I can't speak Korean that well. Please take good care of me. Thank you.", I introduced myself and made a 90 degree bow.

I walked to a empty desk and sat down. As expected, I heard my new classmates gossiping about me.

"We got a nerd in our class"
"She'll never be able to fit in."

Of course I knew. But I wished I could. I wanted to let my hair open and wear nicer clothes. I wanted to be able to wear eye lenses and not nerd glasses anymore. But my mother didn't allow me to. It didn't matter to my dad though.

"She has 'Jun' in her name, isn't that for a boy?"

Well... actually yes, but Minjun is a name that can be used for boys and girls.

"This loser will be Mark's group next target, don't you think so too?"

Mark's group? Who is this Mark? Why would I be their target, oh yeah right... because I'm a nerd...

School is over, the day was very boring. We didn't really learn anything. Or is it maybe because I'm too much of a nerd?

I was on my way back home as I got held up by the sight of a group of six boys bullying another student.

"If you want your backpack back, you'll have to get on your knees and beg for forgiveness for making my clothes dirty.", one of them said. I think it was the leader.

The student slowly got on the knees and got a punch for being too slow. I couldn't stand there, watching anymore. I ran over and stood in front of the student.

"What do you want here?", the leader said with a smirk and looked straight into my eyes. I tried avoiding his eyes. The way he looked at me and the way he smirked made me fear him somehow. He had his hair colored fire orange and red.

There was another boy, his expression wasn't much kinder than the leader's. He is the tallest of all six of them. He doesn't look like a Korean. And he seemed like the second leader. The other four boys were more at the background. None of them seemed like a gentleman, well... except for ONE. He had a small face and thin lips. He looked too much like an angel, too much like a gentleman to be a bully.

"Get lost", the leader commanded.
