"Why 'ugh'?"

"Because you're also coming."

"Oh am I disturbing you and Joshua's privacy? What's so special about him that you like him?"

"I don't like him."

"Of course you do, I can see through you."

Oh yeah?? If you could see through me you know that Joshua isn't my crush.

"Of course he is!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"Noooooo!!"

"Okay guys, guys stop bickering."

I couldn't concentrate on the project because of Guanlin, ugh. But mainly because I couldn't stop worrying about Mark. That sad smile he gave me just hit me.

Joshua realized that I wasn't in the condition of concentrating on the project so he said we can end it for the day.

"Bye Joshua." I waved him goodbye.

"June, wait for me! Bye Joshua.", Guanlin called and waved Joshua goodbye as well.

"Why do you always have to follow me around??"

"Because I'm your friend."

"Just, go home."

"I'm not going home. Oh no!"

"What now?"

"I forgot my phone. I'll be right back. Just stay here okay?" And Guanlin ran back to get his phone.

"O-M-G! It's you again, but just with another boy. You're such a bitch, dating three boys at the same time?" The leader of the three girls said.

"What are you talking about? I'm not dating anyone."

"First, it's Gentlemen Joshua, one of the pretty boys of our school. Then you start dating Mark at the same time. Now you're here, waiting for Guanlin to bring you back home??"

I'm really getting fed up of these three. But what can I do? I'm as weak as a dried stick as everyone says.

One of the girls punched me into my stomach. Another slapped my left cheek, so hard that I fell to the floor and my knees were bleeding. My lips were bleeding as well because of the slapping she gave me. I touched my left cheek and stood up. I faced my face towards the girl and looked her into her eyes.

"Don't look at me like that, do you want to get slapped again??"

I looked straight into her eyes as if I could see through her. She raised her hand and I flinched. Closing my eyes, I expected pain on my left cheek. But I felt nothing. No pain, nothing. I opened my eyes, I looked up, seeing Guanlin holding the girl's arm to stop her from slapping my face.

"Don't you try to hurt her."

"Oppa~ what are you talking about? I thought you love me." The girl started to cry.

"Oh my god, you're mentally ill. June, let's go." Guanlin grabbed my wrist and took me home.

Soon after, we got to the front door and I said goodbye to Guanlin.

"Take care, bye Minjun."

(A few weeks went by, as Minjun and Guanlin became closer friends.)

It was time, I waited for Guanlin at Starbucks. Where we were going to meet.

"Guanlin, over here."

He saw me and came to sit down.

"I was waiting for you. What would you like, I can go order."

"It's okay, I'll go."

"Come on~ Guanlin~"

I frowned.

"Caramel macchiato."

And he went to buy the drinks. He came back with a caramel macchiato for me and a caffè mocha. He sat down at the opposite side and looked down.

"Minjun-ah... I have something to tell you.", he began shyly, "I've spend quite a lot of time with you now. And... I don't want to simply be your friend anymore. I want to know, if you would like to have me as... as a boyfriend."
