*FLASHBACK*

*8 year old Jacobs POV*

"And that's it for our interview! Next week Y/n L/n!" the interviewer said to the camera.i got butterflies when he said her name. I had a crush on her for about a year now. My sisters watched her movies and Tv shows and that's when I first saw her. My sisters always tease me about my crush on her. My whole family knows about it which sucks because they always act weird when she's brought up. When the show was done I went backstage to see my parents and my sisters. They were smiling with a weird smirk. "You did great honey!" mom said and gave me a hug.

Whole time in the car my sisters teased me about Y/n. "Stop it!" i yelled at them "girls stop teasing your brother." Dad said. "But he does love her.." Emma said and Erica laughed. I stuck my tongue out at them. When we got home I jumped out of the car and ran to my room. And went on the TV. I wanted to watch something with Y/N in it. This i s the only way I get to see her. I've never got to meet her but I would love to. I can't watch a lot of her films because they're R-rated. I was about 40 minutes into her show when my sisters came in. "Hey Jake! Dinners ready!" Emma told me "okay i'm coming" i said pausing the TV. "Are you watching that again?!" "yeah..you only saw it like a thousand times!!" it was true i have seen this show a lot.

Few hours later it was movie night....and I got to pick. Of Course i picked a movie Y/n was in. It was a new movie she was in so I didn't have to hear my sister complain about how they had already seen it. In the middle of the movie mom took a photo of me watching the film. "Why did you take a photo?" "because you have a love struck face" she said then laughed. We finished the movie and Erica really liked it. "Jacob, come over here!" mom said. I came over to her. "Look, I posted a photo of you watching the movie and look who liked it!" I then saw the Y/n username there. I started jumping up and down. I was so happy. From that day on I was completely in love.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

*Y/n POV*

I was gonna do an interview today with 'Young Hollywood' for the new season of 'Anne with an E'. I was really looking forward to this interview because there are gonna be more kids there and we are gonna play 'fishing for answers'. I'm kinda socially awkward so I'm a little nervous but my best friend Kyla Matthews told me that she's going to the same interview so I felt a bit better. When I got there, there were a bunch of kids from movies and TV shows. I started getting nervous.I then saw Kyla walk in and I felt relieved. I walked over to her and started talking. "Hey I missed you!" Kyla said "you saw me two days ago!" "really?" she said and i laughed at her. A girl in a yellow dress and hat kept glancing over at me and Kyla. She then started to walk over to us. "Hi! I'm Julia Butters! Are you the girls from Anne with an E?" she said. "Oh yes we are!" "Great, can I get a picture?" we said of course and then we took a picture with her. She was really nice and we talked for a bit. That's when the producers of the channel said we are going into pairs. I felt my stomach turn. I always hated pairs. But it got worse when I saw Jacob Trembaly. I had a crush on him for a while now and if I got paired with him I would scream. They were sorting the kids and pairing them up when I heard my name be called. "Y/n L/n and.....Jacob Tremblay!" I felt butterflies. Kyla looked over at me and gave me a smirk. She knows that I like Jacob.

I walked over to him "hi it's nice to meet you!" i said "oh h-hi" he said and put his hand out. I felt like being nice and I've always wanted to do this so instead I pulled him into a quick hug. At first he didn't know what to do but he then hugged me back. We sat on this couch when it was our turn. 'Have you ever heard of a place called blockbuster?' was the first question. "It's an old place where you would go and get someVHS tapes," Jacob said, then camera cut. I smiled at Jacob and he went a little pink. Then the next thing we had to do was Hum a song and the other person had to guess what song it was. I started humming Shallow by Lady Gaga and Bradly Cooper. Jacob stared at me for a bit but then guessed it. "You got it!" I said. We then took a break from questions. I went over to Kyla and she had a smirk on her face. "Stop that!" I whispered and yelled at her. "Stop what?" she whispered and yelled back. "Stop making that face!" She laughed at me. We then went back on to finish the questions.

The next question was 'What does VCR stand for?' I think I know this one. "Video,Cassette,Recorder?" I said with a question in my voice. I got it right when I heard a ding. "Good job," Jacob said.

It was time for the next question and I was pretty excited. Me and Jacob went to put our hands in the bowel "o-oh you c-can do it" he said i nodded okay with a smile. I pulled out one of the notes. "Who is your celebrity crush?" "I will not say that!" Jacob said right after I said it. "Same i'm not saying mine" i can see Kyla trying not to laugh at me. "Come on guys, not even a hint?" one of the people behind the camera said. We both shook our heads quickly and blushed.

This was the last question and it was 'if you won an oscar'. "I would like to thank the academy and my parents....also my dog for being my emotional support.." I said I passed it to jacob. "I would like to thank my mom for letting me swear in this movie..... And i would also like to thank my grandparents for not seeing this movie cause if they did that would be really bad" he said and i laughed. He turned and smiled at me.

We then all did a little photoshoot before we all left. Jacob walked up to me. "Hey Y/n you did really well in your show! I was w-wondering if I can get your n-number so we can talk again?" he asked, trying not to stutter. "Of course!" We exchanged numbers and we both walked away with smiles. I went over to kyla and told what happened. She was teasing me about him. I really do like him.

When I got home I decided to get in my pajamas when Jacob was facetiming . I got really nervous. I answered it and he was laying on his bed without a shirt. "hey .." he said "hey.." we talked basically all night and both got no sleep.

We talked for months every night and that's how our relationship first started...
