Wedding At The End Of The World

(Chose this song coz like they're kinda just excepting death in this ep so like 'Don't fear the reaper'.)

"So, how is it that we're still here, but the whole of the universe is going down the cosmic shitter?" Allison questioned.

"Maybe we're the last to get flushed." Viktor sighed.

"Wasn't talking to you." She scoffed.

"Hey, has anyone seen Klaus?" Luther questioned making my eyes widen suddenly.Β

"Or Dad?"Β

"Holy shit. Dad didn't like kill him did he?" I questioned making everyone give me a slightly concerned look. "I wouldn't put it past the bastard."

"Relax, they'll be here.." Diego reassured me.Β

"Really? Did they... Hit traffic?"Β Ben scoffed. "Look, people, we're alive because we're special, right? We're the only ones who can save the universe."

"Uh, question." Allison spoke raising her hand slightly.Β

"Yes."

"Didn't we just try that and fail miserably?" She questioned.

"You're the most optimistic person I have ever met." I spoke in heavy sarcasm as she side-eyed me.

"Yeah, it's because his plan was stupid." Diego spoke up walking over to Ben. "I got a better one."

"'Course you do." Ben sighed.

"We go with the large hard-on particle accelerator. You guys do some science, and..." He spoke confidently clicking his tongue. "..we launch the Kugelblitz into outer space. Didn't think I knew that, did ya? It's in Switzerland."

"It's "hadron," not "hard-on," ya moron!" Ben yelled making me chuckle slightly.

"Oi! At least he's trying, you shitty little squid." Lila defended Diego. "What have you contributed?"

"Actually, he did blow up half his family." Diego smiled.

"Oh, you wanna talk about family problems? You know what should have blown up is your face on that neck!" Ben yelled making the rest of us smile in entertainment.

"Better than tv." I whispered to Five.

"So much better."

"I wish I had a cake to hit you with it in your face!" Diego yelled.

They then started yelling at each other in Spanish and Korean.

"Hey!" Five yelled getting them to stop their bickering. "You guys done? The universe is disappearing outside. So you can keep rearranging the deck chairs of the Titanic if it makes you feel better. But the fact remains that we are too late."

"What?" I questioned.

"Five, come on." Luther spoke.

"It's over, Luther. We failed." Five sighed.

"Come on. It can't be over over." Viktor spoke looking around at all of us.

"Yeah, what happened to trying to save the world?" I questioned.

"Yeah, come on, Five. We gotta figure this out, man."

"Okay. How about we take a step back?" Five spoke getting slightly infuriated. "Look at the big picture here. Most of us have spent the last 28 days trying to stop the world from ending. What exactly have we accomplished?"

"Well, we made some friends along the way." Luther smiled looking to Sloane.

"Awe thats quite cut-" I spoke before getting interrupted by Five.

"Incorrect! You know what we've done? Nothing. We made things worse every single time." He spoke.

"Amen to that." Allison mumbled.

"Look, when I went to the Commission, I had a conversation with my 100-year-old self." Five sighed. "And my last words were, "Don't save the world.""

""Don't save the world"?" Viktor questioned.

""Don't save the world.""

"That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard." Diego spoke.

"Is it?" Luther questioned. "Well, whatever we're doing's not working. All we ever do is save the world for a day, pat ourselves on the back, and then everything goes to shit again."

"Yeah, maybe we're the problem." Viktor sighed looking at the ground.

"Oh, yeah. Us." Allison scoffed.

"So, wait. Your big plan is no plan?" Lila questioned.

"Exactly. Conscientious objection. Why the hell not? We've tried everything else. Look, maybe this is just what the universe needs. I say, embrace the apocalypse." Five sighed. "See what's on the other side."

"Death." I mumbled sitting down on the floor.

"What if it's... Nothing?" Sloane questioned.

"Then it's been nice knowing you all." He sighed sitting on the ground next to me. "Whatever's on your bucket list, I recommend you do that now."Β

"Well, on that... Super happy note." Luther smiled at Sloane.

"Oh lord." I sighed earning a chuckle from Five.

"We've, um... Oh, what the hell." Luther and Sloane laughed. "Okay. We've, uh, got a little announcement to make."

"We're engaged!" They both cheered.

"Kill me, Jesus." I heard Ben mumble.

"Don't worry, Ben. Only a few more hours." I sighed.

"Idiots."

"Now?"

"Yeah. Look, we realise the timing is less than ideal. But, obviously, it's now or never. Am I right, Five?" Luther questioned.

"Don't drag me into this, please."

"Whatever time we have left, we wanna spend it with all of you." Sloane smiled. "So we're super pumped if you would join us in the banquet hall at 6:00 p.m. for a celebration of our love, and the official union of what's left of our two great families."

"Dress code is creative black-tie." Luther spoke.

"This is gonna be a disaster." Five sighed.

"A fun disaster, plus. I bet theres gonna be all the alcohol you can drink." I chuckled as his eyes lit up.

"Suddenly it doesn't seem so bad."

-

As Sloane passed around jars we admired them, some people not caring at all. Some people inspecting them like Lila and I.

"Wow!"

"And you did all of this yourself?"

"Luther helped too." Sloane smiled. "We stayed up all night."

"Amazing." Lila whispered.

"Dad?" We all heard Ben speak, we all followed his line of sight to Klaus and Reginald.

"Klaus."

"Holy shit, he didn't kill you!" I smiled looking at Klaus with a wide smile.

"You expect very little of Reggie." He smiled. "He did kill me though, like a bunch."

"Wha-"

"Gather 'round, children. Quickly now!" Reginald rushed.Β

"The hell have you been?" Diego questioned.

"Oh, Reg and I. We got tangled up in a whole father-son end-of-the-world road trip kinda thing. You know?" He smiled.

"You two are hanging now?" Ben questioned slightly hurt.

"Yeah, we laughed, we cried, we.." He sighed looking at me. "Played in traffic, and long story short, I'm immortal now." He spoke flexing his muscles and grunting concerningly.

"Whoa, wait. You're what now?" Luther questioned.

"Klaus, have you gotten into the bath salts again?" Allison questioned.

"Oh god, I remember that day." I sighed examining the rocks getting a concerning look from the rest.

"I think the more pertinent question is, why are you all playing with jars?" Reginald questioned as Diego threw his behind his shoulder.

"They're invitations." Sloane smiled.Β

"Nobody's playing." Luther spoke.

"Apart from Y/n." Five chuckled as he watched me counting the rocks.

"Luther and I are getting married." Sloane announced again.

"All of space and time is collapsing, and you lot are planning a wedding?" Reginald scoffed in disbelief.

"What else is there to do?" I questioned. "It's either this or die now."

"Exactly, um, space is limited. So it's kind of a per-plate situation, so, you know." Luther Agreed.

"Is this how I raised you? To fiddle while Rome burns?"

"Remember what we talked about, Reg. Remember to breathe." Klaus whispered loud enough that I could hear.Β

"Quiet, I'm on a roll."

"Dad, have you been taking your pills?" Sloane questioned.

"As a matter of fact, I haven't." He spoke making Sloane's eyes widen.

"And I can confirm that I've never felt better in my life. You thought you could dope me up and slow me down, take control of my affairs and squander my fortune. Well, Klaus here was good enough to wean me off that wretched poison. And now that the fog is lifting, I can see all your dastardly designs with a bracing clarity." Reginald blabbered on.

"You took him off his meds?" Sloane raised her voice slightly. "What were you thinking?"

"He's the only one doing any thinking. All of you could learn a thing or two from this impressive young man." Reginald spoke making Diego chuckle.

"The world really is ending! Oh my God."

"As for the rest of you, your training is to resume post-haste." Reginald informed. "We're running out of time. We have a mission to complete."

"What makes you think we're gonna listen to you?" I questioned him.

"Don't listen to her. I'm ready. Let's do this." Ben spoke.

"Let me guess. Project Oblivion?" Five questioned.

"How do you know about that?"

"We heard all about it from Pogo." I spoke.

"Now, there's a name I haven't heard in some time."

"And he confirmed what I've always suspected about you." Five smiled.

"Which is?"

"That you're a sadistic lunatic who's planning on gambling all of our lives in another pointless mission."

"And you'd take the word of a disgruntled chimp over that of your own father?" Reginald questioned making the rest of us scoff.

"Every damn day."

"You aren't even our Dad in this timeline." I mumbled.

"Nobody wants you here, Dad." Luther sighed. "You should leave."

"Hey, you don't speak for all of us, big guy." Ben spoke.

"Feel free to join him."

"I see. So this is what it's come to. Insurrection." Reginald sighed.

"That's not the kind of erection we're driving for here, all right?" Klaus shushed Reginald. "Everybody just needs to be cool. Clearly, you guys are on a different chakra frequency right now. Hey, Pops, let's go have a nice cup of tea in the suite."

"Let go of my arm." Reginald struggled as Klaus dragged him away.

"Luther, Sloane. Oh my God. I'm beyond thrilled." He yelled as he continued walking. "You guys are gorgeous. Amazing. Send me your registry!"

-

"Do I have to go to this bachelor party?" Five questioned as he sat down on his bed.

"Yeah, it's your brothers wedding." I frowned slightly. "He'd be so upset if you didn't go."

"Ben's not going."

"'Cause he wasn't invited." I sighed. "Which is honestly quite mean. I mean he's a dickhead but he's still Sloane's brother."

"Mm."

"Oh cmon, cheer up." I smiled sitting next to him. "You can get drunk at the party as well."

"What are you gonna be doing?" He questioned.

"Helping Sloane get her dress on? I don't know how weddings work." I sighed. "Might have a heartfelt conversation with Sloane. She seems nice."

"So you have a heartfelt conversation while I get drunk out of my mind." He smiled. "Seems like a plan."

-

"How's the dress going?" I questioned walking into the room Sloane was in.

"Good, how's Chet going with the decorations?" She questioned looking up slightly as I sat on the couch.

"Great, had to help him but yeah I think he should make a business." I chuckled.Β  "The boys seem to be having fun, heard them all singing their hearts out together."

"Hm," She smiled looking down at the dress. "Was Luther having fun?"

"Yeah, he was the brother doing the most singing and dancing." I smiled. "Never seen the dude dance so much."

"I'm glad." She chuckled again. "How's Ben, have you seen him?"

"I haven't but i'm sure he's fine, probably moping in a corner somewhere." I spoke as I heard footsteps from behind me.

"I'm not moping." Ben scoffed. "Why would I care what they do."

"You sure." I spoke turning around to him with a slight smile to which he scoffed again.

"My ears are broken, and the idiot with knives really can't sing." He spat looking at himself in the mirror.

"Diego. You know his name is Diego." Sloane corrected.

"Oh, whatever."

"Maybe you should try and be nice to him and the others." I spoke looking over to him.

"And why would I do that?"

"As much as we'd love to work out your anger issues right now, I have to get back to this." Sloane spoke getting back to her dress. "The wedding is in an hour."

"Fei is dead." Ben spat.

"Okayyy.. Sloane come get me when you need me, I'll be helping Chet." I spoke getting up and walking out of the room.

As I was walking to the room they were having the wedding in I spotted the boys dancing with each other.

"Thats quite cute." I smiled walking past them to Chet. "Hey Chet, how's it going?"

"Great, i'm almost done." He smiled.

"It looks great! Do you need any help?" I questioned helping him put the last table cloth on the tables.

"Could you please set up the microphone?" He questioned looking to the stage.Β

"Of course!"

-β˜‚οΈŽ-

After helping Chet with the rest of the decorations I decided to get dressed. I decided to wear this outfit I had found in one of the wardrobes.

-

"Five where'd you go?" I questioned walking into his room.

"Here." He spoke exiting the bathroom. "Oh my god."

"What? Something in my teeth?" I questioned.

"No you just look.. Stunning." He spoke as his face tinted a slight red.

"Aw thanks." I smiled. "You too."

"Thanks, what time is it?"Β

I looking down at my watch. "5:59?! Shit!"Β

"Ah shit, cmon i'll spacial jump us." He spoke holding out his hand.

"This is not gonna go well."

-

"Where's Five and Y/-" Klaus questioned before he was interrupted by us spatial jumping in front of him.

"Here! We're not late." I spoke walking over to a plant pot and throwing up into it.

"Lovely." Five spoke grabbing my hand and walking into the huge room.

"Not sure this place is gonna be big enough." Klaus commented looking around.

"This better be an open bar." Allison sighed walking ahead of the rest of us.

"Hey, come on. It's for Luther." Lila spoke. "Let's perk up. Wow."

"I don't know. Normally, my tush looks good." Luther spoke walking out of the elevator with Viktor.

"Ah, I see you've gone for the oversized button-down." Allison scoffed. "Original."

"You do realise there's no paparazzi here, right?" Viktor counteracted.Β

"Good one, Vik." I smiled high-fiving him.

"What? Dang it." Allison sighed.

"Listen to me, you two. This is my day, all right?" Luther shushed them. "So if you two can just get along for a couple of hours, you can consider that my wedding gift."

"Well, he started it, so-" Allison spoke.

"You literally just started it." Viktor scoffed.

"Literally?"

"Bah, bah, bah! My day! Two hours. Do you think you can manage that?" Luther sighed.

"Yeah, fine."

"Thank you."

Behind us the elevator opened revealing Sloane in a beautiful dress.

"Wow."

"You look beautiful!" I smiled.

"Let's get this over with before I die of cringe." Ben scoffed.

-

As we didn't have a priest we decided Klaus was the best option.

"Dearly beloved, we're gathered here today for a good time, not a long time, so let's have a good time, huh?" He smiled. "'Cause the sun can't shine every day. Can I get an amen?"

"Amen!"

"Amen!"

"Amen."

"Luther, do you be taking this banging hottie to be your lady?" Klaus spoke.

"I do."

"Sloane, do you promise to love and cherish this big hairy bastard for the next 24 to 48 hours?" Klaus continued.

"Give or take a day." Five called out.

"Shut up, you're ruining the moment!" I yelled at him.

"Are you crying?" He questioned.

"No." I lied earning a raised eyebrow from him. "Alright yes I am, how are you not?"

Chuckling I laid my head on his shoulder and he laid he head on top of mine.

"I'm gonna try." Sloane answered.

"Well, then..." Klaus spoke between sobs of happiness. "I'm sorry. I pronounce you married as shit! Viva la apocalypse!"

"Woo!" We all cheered.

-

After we all cleared our tears we walked onto the dance floor to watch Luther and Sloane's first dance as a married couple.

"This is officially worse than the apocalypse." Five sighed as I pointed to the alcohol.Β  "Ah, there we are. Thanks darling."

"I love how all the couples are on the dance floor and we're here getting drunk." I chuckled.

"Really defines our relationship." Five chuckled watching the others dance.

"Cinco! Ocho! Mis hermano and hermana." (I hope thats right.) Klaus yelled as he walked over to us.

"Oh God." Five sighed after downing a shot of alcohol. "What do you want?"

"Listen to me, Dad is upstairs right now with a plan to save everything." Klaus spoke as I wondered off to the food table.

"Oo, I love fruit kebabs!" I spoke grabbing a few and observing what the rest of the siblings were doing. "Vik!"

"Oh, hey Y/n." He chuckled. "Are you drunk again?"

"Me?" I questioned. "Nooo."

"Whats that?" He spoke pointing to the bottle of alcohol I had in my hand.

"Water." I smiled suspiciously hiding it behind my back. "I just ya' know, cleaned out a tequila bottle and put water in it."

"Suree.." He smiled narrowing his eyes. "Let me have some, i'm parched."

"Nope- Ah what was that Five?" I yelled over at Five catching his attention. "Five needs me back over there."

"Y/n-" Viktor yelled after me. "This isn't healthy!"

"What was that about?" Five questioned.

"Vik tried to take my alcohol." I spoke sitting down in my chair.

"Heh, Klaus tried to get me to talk to Dad."

"What'd you say?"

"No, obviously. Tonight all I wanna do if get fucked up beyond all recognition!" He yelled slightly.

"Amen to that!" I spoke raising my bottle to his and taking a swig.

-

We all turned our heads to the elevator door when we saw Dad walk in.

"Here we go again." I sighed.

"He better not sit here." I heard Diego. "I swear to god if he sits here. Yeah, keep walking."

I saw Klaus motioning for Reggie to smiled and he did which was horrifying.

"That smiles scarier than yours." I chuckled nudging Five to which he pouted. "Oh cmon, I didn't mean it."

"Sure." He frowned.

"I didn't!"

-

After we all ate Reginald clinked his glass signalling he was going to make a speech.

"Sloane, ever since you were a little girl, I've always known you were exceptionally bright. And though I can't say I know Luther all that well, from the few moments we have shared, it seems you found yourself an adequate partner." Reginald spoke making Five chuckle.

"He just called Luther adequate."Β

"I acknowledge that, as a father, I was not without my faults. I hope these shortcomings will be seen as only a rough patch on an otherwise verdant lawn. I'm proud to call you my children. Even those whom I raised in a revenant version of myself. I hope that tonight we can create a few special memories in whatever precious little time we have left." Reginald spoke as Viktor as Allison arguing caught my eye. "The sun rises over a lily's field. A mother veiled, her lips concealed. The mourners come in droves of black to bury what their hearts unpack." He spoke as Allison left the room. "With shallow breath and time eclipsed, I pray you miss death's gentle kiss."

"That makes no sense." Ben yelled.

"Beautiful! Bravo, Dad! Bravo!" Klaus applauded.Β

"I didn't think the old man had it in him." Five sighed.

"Neither, he really is a different person." I smiled slightly.

"All right, all right." Chet spoke turning the music up. "Time to turn those frowns upside down! This one is for all the party people in the place."

All of us drunk out of our minds fled to the dance floor and we danced the night away, as if it were our last night on Earth.

-β˜‚οΈŽ-

After all of us sang the alcohol finally caught up to Five and he started singing on stage.

"β™ͺ Come on in β™ͺΒ

β™ͺ Sit right down β™ͺΒ

β™ͺ Mr. Lonely β™ͺΒ

β™ͺ You're too late... β™ͺΒ

β™ͺ Mr. Sadness... β™ͺΒ

Β β™ͺ I can't even offer you a smile... β™ͺΒ

Β β™ͺ Who planned things this way? β™ͺΒ

β™ͺ No offence β™ͺΒ

β™ͺ But you know β™ͺΒ

β™ͺ I'm still looking β™ͺΒ

-β˜‚οΈŽ-

Once Five had finished his song we all decided to go outside and admire the end of the world.

"It's rather beautiful." I smiled looking up at the sky as I laid my head on Five's shoulder.

"Just like you." He chuckled drunkenly.

"Aw." Lila smiled at us.

"Oh, no, no, no, no!" Diego growled seeing Klaus and Ben come outside.

"Hey, what?" Klaus frowned.

"No!"

"Klaus, why are you bringing Ben here?" Five scoffed.

"Come on! Hear me out before-" Klaus tried to speak.

"Hear him out." Ben spoke smoking a cigarette.

"The brother that you all knew as Ben is gone. And not-" Klaus paused trying to find the words in his very drunken state. "I don't mean our Ben, the nice Ben. I mean this Ben. The asshΠΎlΠ΅, he's gone now. Gone."

"Klaus, what are you talking about?"

"And the man that stands in front of you is new new Ben, and he's one of us, and he's a member of the team. And he's part of the family!" Klaus reasoned.

"Part of the family!" Ben yelled with a wide smile.

"And as a welcome gift, I suggest we throw him off the roof." Five smiled.

"Yeah. I'll help." Diego agreed.

"Come on."

"You know what? You know what? He can stay." Luther smiled. "He can stay."

"Why?"

"'Cause it's my wedding day, man. Come on. He can stay." Luther smiled even wider.

"Yes! I knew it, I knew it. Hey, big guy. Awfully nice of you." Klaus and Ben cheered.

"Yeah, you're... You're welcome."

"Ooh! Whoa!" Klaus smiled admiring the orange clouds. "Holy smokes."Β

"Hey, you know something?" Luther questioned making us all look to him. "Tonight is all I ever really wanted."

"To get hitched?" Diego questioned.

"Just... Everybody coming together when it really matters. One big real family."

"Luther!" I yelled sitting up slightly. "You're gonna make me cry again!"

"Yeah- It's like the third tim-" Five tried to speak but before he could finish he got up and got ready to throw up.

"Whoa! Whoa!" Everyone yelled.Β

"Oh, I think I'm gonna hurl." He grimaced as everyone laughed at him.

"Actually, uh, I think I'm hungry." He sighed grabbing my arm. "See ya, guys. We're gonna hit the buffet."

"Is he gonna be okay?" I heard Viktor question as we walked inside.

"Hun, I don't-" I tried to speak also feeling a bit sick. "I Don't think you're hungry."Β

"How would you know for sure?" He questioned grabbing some food and shoving it in his mouth.

"Cmon- Five-" I tried to stop him.

"I'm hungry!" He frowned.

"No you're not!"

"But I am!" He yelled grabbing more food.

"Stop it!" I yelled slightly trying to grab the food from him.

"Make me." He smirked.

"No, no, no." I spoke looking away. "Don't pull that shit."

"Then i'll just keep eating!" He yelled as I walked away and watched him throw up in a bush.

"Told you you weren't hungry!" I yelled from afar.

"But I am!" He yelled as I walked up to him.

"Cmon, let's get you to bed." I spoke dragging him with me.

"Fine, but let me make more fooddddd." He spoke walking towards the kitchen.

"I give up." I spoke sitting on the kitchen bench as I watched him make a strange concoction with cereal.

"Ok, now i'm happy." He smiled walking out of the kitchen and up stairs.

"That looks nasty." I spoke looking at his cereal.

"It's not, you should try some." He smiled handing me the spoon.

"Eck." I grimaced trying some of it. "Wait, no you're right it's kinda good."

"Told you!" He smiled before frowning. "Oh shit, I'm gonna hurl!"

"Ew, that poor bush." I grimaced walking over to Five. "Ya' know there was better plac-"

"Shhh.." He shushed me looking into the room beside him.

"With everything we've discussed, it'd be folly to wait." I heard Reginald inside the room. "There is no time-"

"Oh shit.." I mumbled passing out in the elevator while waiting for Five.

"Shit."
