don't lie.

"Oh shit, I need cash. Otherwise this will be a short shopping-trip."

George was looking into his empty wallet. After their meal, they had decided to go shopping.

"I'll just go over to the bank. Can you guys wait here?"

"Yep. See you." said Reece.

"See you."

Blake and Reece sat down on a bench in front of a fountain. They silently watched the water splashing in the air and falling back to the ground, until Reece broke the silence.

"You like George."

Blake looked up, confused.

"Of course I like him. And I like you. You two are my best friends."

"No. I mean you like him. In another way. And don't try to lie. I can see the way you look at him and I probably know you better than you know yourself."

Blake looked down, ashamed. He knew Reece was right. He always was when it came to things like that.

"Blake, look at me. Don't be so sad. There is nothing to be sad about and you can't do anything against your feelings."

"No, Reece. It just can't be true. It destroys anything. I'm scared. Scared that he won't like me anymore, if I tell him. Scared that it will damage the band ...... And he doesn't even love me anyway. God, I just can't love a boy. I never did."

"Wow, take it slow. Don't say that."

Reece hugged his friend who started crying. It was just too much for Blake. Why he? Why was he the one to fall in love with one of his best friends? The one who destroys everything in the end?

"I'm so sorry, Blake. I shouldn't have talked with you about that today. I couldn't imagine how hard it is for you. But please don't blame yourself. As I said: You can't change who you are or who you like and you should never try that. I will always be there for you and I would have no problem, if you and George would be together. It wouldn't change anything for me. And I'm almost sure he feels the same way for you as you feel for him. He probably just needs time to realise it."

Blake calmed down while hearing Reece's words. He was really glad he had him as his friend. But he was also sure, that George would never feel the same way.

"Blake? George will be back soon. If you don't want him to notice something, you should probably stop hugging me." Reece said with a smile on his face.

Blake instantly stopped hugging his friend and brushed away his tears.

"Thank you, Reece. For always being there."

Reece just answered with a smile, because he saw George walking towards them. There was still a big distance so he assumed that George had not seen anything. He felt sorry for Blake. He should have talked to him later. But now Blake had someone to talk to about his feelings.

George had reached them.

"I'm sorry for letting you wait. It was like the whole city needed cash and the queue was so long."

"It's alright, George." Reece said, smiling.

"So, should we go then?" asked George.

"Of course. I didn't plan to sit here the whole day."

Blake just fake-smiled. He tried not to look in George's face, because he would probably notice Blake's red eyes. As they started walking, he was still thinking about Reece's words: "I'm almost sure he feels the same way for you".

Nope, as much as he trusted Reece's sense. That will never happen. George would never love him.

Phew, I wish I had a friend like Reece.

Thanks to CN5SOS for always correcting my English! :)

But because of that, there will be no update for at least one day (you will see, if my plans change again ^^).

I wish all of you a great day! Please comment feedback and wishes for this story. :)
