~4~

I had only been asleep for around 3 or 4 hours, but I was awoken by tnt explosions. Tnt explosions that were terrifyingly close. I looked out of my window and saw a huge hole in the wall, on the other side stood a green blob. I couldn't really tell as it was covered by smoke and debris. I decided to put my armour back on before leaving my house, avoiding any eye contact with anyone. I walked around the outside of the walls and there he was. Dream.

He was grinning under the mask. I could only tell as he wasn't facing me, he was facing the hole he had just put in our walls. "Caught red handed I see." I said. His head snapped to me as he started to run over to me. I took out my sword, realising he was fully unarmed, clearly not expecting to be caught. "Woah, okay calm down this isn't a very fair fight now is it?" He said backing up. I edged closer pointing the sword directly at his throat. "Now since when was anything ever fair when it comes to you?" I got closer and closer til he hit a tree and couldn't move anywhere else. "Now what to do with you hm?" I said, cocking my head to the side. "Let me go?" He asked hopefully. "Nice try." I rolled my eyes at the remark. "Was worth a try, how's Tommy?" He asked, it felt like I was being suffocated. How dare he ask me that. "What's wrong princess? Is he okay?" He pushed. Princess? The fuck? And why did he seem genuinely concerned? No Sadie, it's all some manipulative act. Don't you dare fall for it. "He woke up this morning." I said bluntly, walking deeper into the forest. As I expected, he followed me.

I sat in a large opening, dropping my sword to the side of me. "How is he though?" Dream asked, sitting down next to me. I could feel his gaze burning into the side of my head. "He's getting by, none of us are very trained though. I don't think we've dealt with it well." He tilted his head and put his hand under my chin, forcing me to look at him. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a little glowing bottle. I knew it was a potion but I hadn't really researched them enough to know which one it was. "A healing potion. It'll clear it up within a few hours." He said, handing me the bottle. I placed it into my pocket. "Why are you helping me? Well, us?" I asked, I didn't understand why he was being this way. "I-I don't know. I'm helping you because I feel entitled to. I can't explain it." He said, looking at the grass beneath him. "Is Dream going soft?" I laughed. He looked up to me, I could tell he was glaring at me. "Shut it princess. You know you love me."

I layed there in the grass long after Dream left. I wonder if he had really gone soft, or maybe it was just all an act to gain my trust and kill us all off one by one. I had to stay skeptical, I couldn't let him win if that really was the plan. Including the fact he did just fucking blow up the L'Manburg walls. Oh shit. L'Manburg. I ran back as fast as my legs could carry me, making sure I didn't lose the potion. The wall was almost fixed already. "Did you see who did this Sadie?" Wilbur asked. "No sir, I saw a figure and chased them, however I was unable to catch up." I lied, why the fuck was I covering for him?
