Beth's POV

I was having a talk with Luke,Ashton and Michael about Calum and BAAAM Calum Hood walked in. I was wearing this long sleeves to cover up my scars from last night. Nobody knows that I self-harm, if they knew, I won't be friends with Calum Hood or his other friends. I nodded as Calum sat beside me. I was distracted by what happened last night.

*FLASHBACK*

I ran out from Calum's house and pretended to be angry. I was giggling because I knew Calum was running after me. My phone vibrated and i picked up the call from an unknown number.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Beth Warden?"

"Yes?"

"We are calling from St.Louis hospital to inform you that your brother, Shawn Warden and Taylor Warden are here, they met with an accident about a few mins ago"

"Wait what? This is not any prank call right?" I could feel that my eyes were watery.

I immediately cut the line and collapsed on the floor. I was hoping that Calum was here with me so that I could hug him right now. I felt my wrist was grabbed and I knew it was Calum as his colonge. I cried even harder and I was so starstruck.

"Calum?"

"Yes, why are you crying?"

"Shawn and his wife are in the hospital, can we go?"

He nodded and we paced up my walking speed to the hospital.

I sat infront of my brother who was surviving but he could be living less than half an hour.

"Shawn,please don't go ? Who will be taking care of me?  I need you Shawn. I have nobody, Mum left us and you can't leave me alone here. "

Calum had his hand over my shoulder and rubbing circles on my back to comfort me. My hands was over Shawn's body and i slightly shaked him.  At the side table, there was a letter and it wrote "Beth"

Dear Beth,

I know Calum and you just met in school and he seem a great guy. Stay with him while I'm gone, I know that I won't be living any longer. I wrote this letter a few days ago but you were angry at me but forgive me love, I was a terrible mum, I was careless and I wish I could protect you. I seen your scars , Beth, stay strong, nothing in this world is impossible. You got to work hard on it and if Calum was your destiny, your dad and I agreed on it. I'm sorry that I couldn't attend your wedding but I left some money for your wedding in the future, that what I've been saving for. I meet Calum the other day and he really liked you, more than friends. He promised that he will take good care of you while I'm gone. Beth, stay strong and please take care of yourself. I know  i'm leaving this world but remember your dad and I will always love you

*End of flasback*                            

It was a letter Mum wrote and gave it to Shawn and he was suppose to pass me but I was nowhere to be found. I was tearing , droplets of tears fall on the piece of paper. Why all this happen to me? Why do I have to self-harm after mum married to another jerk?  I don't care if he dead, all I need is my brother. I have nobody else, nothing but Calum. Can I trust Calum? Both Shawn and Mum seem to fancy him but I don't know if I fancy him.

"Cal"

"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you from the start. Can we go? I will explained to you"

"Goodbye Shawn" I mumbled as I walked out the door.

What was that suppose to mean? Both mum and him arranged my wedding with Calum ?! Oh god, this must be good.

Calum's POV

I feel bad about keeping this from Beth. I don't mean anything, she a great girl but if she knews about what happen to me, she surely won't be friends or about asking her out on a date will be destroyed. Her mums know about my illness and what if I can't make her feel happy?

"Beth, so your mum invited me that day while you're gone to Denise's house and I didn't tell you because your mum said it was important and she told me that I'm seem a good guy and you have been talking to her about me which makes her curious and maybe that why she wanted to meet me. Both your parents want me to take care of you while they are gone. And I promised that I will make you the happiest girl on earth, I really mean it. I really want to take good care of you and make you happy. Your stepdad is my manager of my band and ...."

" YOU ARE IN A BAND?! How come I don't know about it? You know that I like bands, why didn't you freak?" She stood up and softly screaming at me.

"Girl calm dowm, I was laughing when I saw your reaction. You should see your reaction" I was laughing holding my stomach due to laughing too much.
