Rotxo's Pov:

I was awoken by tsireya yanking at my arm and I sat up pretty quickly.

"What!?" I groaned, rubbing my eyes. "Since when did you sleep in so late?" Tsireya said, still trying to pull me out of bed.

"Me and fatao for stuck picking through the nets almost all night" I muttered, standing up out of my bed.

"Oh, well we have to go tend the ilu's, mom requested it because the younger ones are training on them today" tsireya explained and I nodded, stretching a bit.

Me and tsireya walked out of my room, going into the entrance space I quickly fixed myself some breakfast while tsireya did the same.

"Has aonung ate?" I asked, setting my plate down next to tsireya.

She shook her head. "No, he barely comes out of his room anymore" tsireya frowned, taking a bite out of her breakfast.

"Alright, I'll bring him something" I said, prepping a breakfast for aonung too.

I brought it to his room, his curtain was shut so I moved it aside, seeing him laying in his hammock with his back facing me I let out a sigh.

"Aonung are you up?" I asked, setting the breakfast down on his stand. "Yeah, what is it" aonung grumbled, not even turning to look at me.

"I got you breakfast, tsireya said you didn't eat" I said and I saw his shoulders shrug. "I'm not hungry" he muttered and I frowned.

"Come on aonung just eat something" I pestered. "No. I'm not hungry" aonung repeated.

I let out a sigh, picking the plate back up. "Alright" I mumbled, leaving his room and going back to the entrance area.

"He's not hungry" I told tsireya, setting the plate down. "Alright" tsireya shrugged, she had already finished eating.

"Hurry up and eat so we can go" tsireya smiled, sitting down next to me as I ate.

Once I was done eating we left to the beach where the ilu's would stay.

When we got down there fatao was there too, he was feeding the ilu fish.

"Hey fatao!" Tsireya greeted as we came down the beach. "Hey tsireya, rotxo!" Fatao smiled, waving at us.

"You tending the ilu's too?" I asked him and he nodded his head. "How big of a group do you think there's gonna be?" Fatao asked.

"I think it was ten littles?" Tsireya mumbled, calling for an ilu as she took fish out of her basket and fed it before looking it over.

"The littles are always so adorable on the little ilu's!" Fatao laughed, one of his ilu's flipped over on its back and he scratched it's tummy.

"I know right!" Tsireya smiled. "Their so cute and precious!"

"What do you think rotxo?" Fatao asked, looking over at me and I shrugged. "Their cute I guess" I said, not really knowing what to say.

"You guess?" Tsireya said, fake acting dramatic and I chuckled.

It was around afternoon when we finished tending to the ilu's. "Should we go get the littles?" Fatao asked and tsireya nodded.

"Yeah their gonna be at Tsahìk's den" tsireya said as we walked up the beach, I followed beside fatao.

"I love teaching the littles, their so sweet and nice" tsireya cheered and fatao nodded.

Once we made it to Tsahìk's den we picked up the littles, they were a bit excited and energetic so it was kinda a struggle getting them down to the beach as a group.

Training took just as long, the kids were cute and adorable but they were also so excited that they weren't really listening to the instructions of riding an ilu.

But once we had finished it was dinner time and Ronal called us back as the littles ran to go get dinner.

"How were those kids today" Ronal asked the three of us and fatao gave a thumbs up.

"They were I bit energetic but they got it" tsireya smiled and I nodded along. "Alright, go dish up you three" Ronal said, nodding for us to go back to camp for dinner.

I walked beside fatao as we went to the camp where everyone was gathered grabbing dinner, little kids were running around chasing each other and elders were talking about old stories.

Tsireya went off to go find lo'ak so me and fatao dished up or food.

While we were dishing up I felt a hand tap my shoulder and I turned to see Kiri. "Where were you today?" Kiri frowned.

"Oh, sorry Kiri I was with fatao, we had to tend the ilu's for the littles" I explained, I had completely forgot that I had promised to hang out with her.

"All day?" She sighed and I nodded. "Littles are always a bit rowdy so it takes some time with them" I explained.

"Oh hey Kiri!" Fatao smiled, joining back to our group. "Hey" Kiri said flatly.

"Well can you at least eat with me?" Kiri frowned and I looked over at fatao because originally I was going to eat with him.

He gave me the 'go ahead' look and I turned back to Kiri.

"Come on where do you want to sit?" I asked her and she pointed over to where her brother neteyam was with tuk.

"Alright let's go" I smiled at her and we walked over to neteyam and tuk, who was playing with her food instead of eating it.

"Hey neteyam and tuk" I smiled sitting down as Kiri sat down.

"Hey" neteyam muttered, looking over at me.

We all ate, it was mostly me, Kiri and tuk that talked, neteyam stayed silent most of the conversation.

"Hey rotxo?" Neteyam asked me both me and Kiri turned to look at him. "Yeah?" I asked.

"How's aonung... Like he's fine right?" Neteyam mumbled, fidgeting with his hands.

"Oh yeah, he's doing alright, just bored I think" I shrugged, eating more of my fish.

"When do you think he'll be ungrounded?" Neteyam asked quietly and Kiri gave him a look that I didn't really understand.

"If you want to see him I would go now, Ronal and Tonowari are here so it would be good for you to see him now" I said, glancing over and seeing Ronal sitting with the elders and Tonowari.

"No, it's okay" neteyam said shaking his head. "I don't know if I really want to see him at all"

"Oh" I whispered, nodding my head slightly.
