pt.3

Kiri's pov:

I saw that little metkayina kid from earlier. Rotxo was his name. He was sitting on the rocks by himself but he was talking aloud. Is he a weirdo?

(Kiri I don't wanna hear that from you ever again 😡)

I slowly walked closer, not disturbing him. "But I also think that's very confusing and I don't know what to think" rotxo said. Who is he talking to?

"What are you doing?" I asked aloud and I could see him jump, he whipped around his eyes wide with surprise his mouth hung open a bit before he scrambled from his feet. "Uh... Nothing?" He whispered, fidgeting with his hands.

I opened my mouth to speak but he walked straight around me. Rude. I turned around to follow him. "Who we're you talking to?" I asked him, walking behind him. "Please leave" he muttered, his pace picking up. I felt confused.

"Why?" I asked him and he immediately stopped turning around quickly. "Because I am not aloud to hang out with you" he said awkwardly. "Or any of you strange na'vi"

I felt even more confused and a little offended. "And who said that?" I asked. "Your parents?" I questioned, Rolling my eyes.

He looked at me like I said the most shocking thing on Pandora.

He muttered something I couldn't catch.

"What was that?" I asked him and I instantly shook his head. "Sorry, but I have to leave" he whispered turning around and beginning to walk fast again.

I didn't bother to chase after him. He's weird.

--time skip.

Me and my siblings we're eating dinner when I told them about the rotxo kid. "Oh, tsireya talks to him all the time!" Lo'ak said, finishing his bite of food. "He's usually all by himself or with that aonung dude" lo'ak said. "Does he not have any friends?" Neteyam asked looking a bit sad for the boy.

"He's hard to talk to so that's probably why" I shrugged and lo'ak nodded. "I couldn't even hear half of the things he was saying!" Lo'ak laughed and neteyam hit him.

"Be nice" neteyam hissed. "The kid could be shy"

"He's kind of strange" I said, scooping up some of my bread. "I saw him talking to the ocean" I told them and lo'ak giggled. "He's talking to the fishes" lo'ak smiled and neteyam hit him again.

"Stop making fun of-" neteyam was about the finish his sentence when I voice spoke up.

"Who's being made fun of?" Tsireya asked coming up behind lo'ak and neteyam making the two boys freeze.

Aonung and rotxo we're behind tsireya.

"Lo'ak was making fun of me!" Neteyam quickly covered, seeing rotxo amoungst the group. Tsireya made a fake offended face. "Lo'ak how dare you!" Tsireya said dramatically, placing her hand over her chest.

"What are you guys up to?" I asked, wondering why they had come over here. "Well if tsireya had gotten to the point you would have known" aonung grumbled and tsireya rolled her eyes swishing her hand Infront of his face.

"Anyways we we're wondering if you would like to see the three brother rocks with us" tsireya smiled.

"The three brother rocks?" Neteyam said confused.

"It's where our spirit tree's are" aonung explained and tsireya nodded. We all made a 'oh' sound before I spoke up. "yeah sure we'd love to!" I smiled.

Tsireya clapped happily. "Let's go!"

I saw aonung hit rotxos arm before pointing at lo'ak, aonung whispered something to rotxo and the boy snickered.

Are they making fun of lo'ak!?

I glared at them before hearing my brothers voice. "Alrighty let's go!" Neteyam said clapping his hands together. "I'll go get tuk!" Lo'ak called running off into the den to fetch our little sister.

Once he had come back out with her we all set down towards the beach.

"I'm so excited to show you guys around every where!" Tsireya cheered but I could barely listen to her.

I couldn't take my eyes off of what aonung and rotxo we're doing.

Every so often aonung would whisper something to rotxo and the boy would began to walk closer behind lo'ak but every time rotxo would look back at aonung and shake his head and step away from lo'ak.

What were they doing? I wondered staring them down.

"And then I dove straight down into the water with a splat!" Tsireya said clapping her hands together making me focus back on her. Neteyam nodded and both him and lo'ak looked amazed by her story.

We had reached the beach now and the three metkayina had called for their ilu's.

We had not yet mastered the ilu riding so tsireya told us we would have to ride with someone else

"Lo'ak can come with me" tsireya smiled and lo'ak gladly accepted. It was so easy to tell she had a crush on him.

I eyed the two metkayina boys. No way was I going with aonung. Sorry brother.

"Me and tuk will go with rotxo" I said taking tuk's hand who seemed pleased with my choice.

Rotxo looked nervous and his ears instantly lowered as we came over and he glanced over at aonung. "Come on fish boy" I snapped at him, helping tuk up onto the ilu.

I noticed rotxo's ears stayed lowered and he was a lot more nervous now. Maybe he is shy.

He got up on the ilu and I held onto his shoulders. He stiffened. "Uh... Your not supposed to... Uh" his face instantly flushed as he looked away.

"Not supposed to what?" I grumbled Rolling my eyes. "You supposed to hold onto my waist..." He whispered, his shoulders hunching.

"Oh sorry" I muttered, moving my hands down to his waist he instantly tensed. He has a really slim waist.

"You hear that tuk?" I asked my sister who was still hold onto my shoulders. "Hold onto my waist instead" I told tuk who instantly switched positions.

"Alright everyone ready to go?" Tsireya called looking around at all us.

Aonung and rotxo gave a thumbs up and tsireya nodded.

"You guy's are going to love it at the three brothers rocks!" Tsireya smiled happily.
