7 - Walk on

The sky was incredibly beautiful. A mix of orange and purple spread across the sky. It was one of God's finest creation.

As my eyes followed the lines of floating grey clouds, it fell upon a figure of a finely built body.

Despite the silhouettes, I could still tell who it was. The spiky hair that sat upon his head like a crown. The defined muscles that were trained everyday in the morning. Why of course, they all aligned with the body of Kacchan. Someone that I had been admiring this whole time.

My eyes glided from his pose to his face. In my surprise I met two fierce, bright red glowing eyes.
"Deku..." Kacchan said, as if he was a monster who was learning to greet.

The people that were with us seemed blurred in my mind. The only person that I really saw with us was Kacchan.

Their conversations were drowned to quiet mutters. I walked slightly behind Kacchan. Still looking at his figure as he strode along the pebbles with retreating waters.

"Hey...?" I said, breaking the quiet atmosphere.
Kacchan didn't slow his pace.
"O-oi!" I called out, louder this time. I waited for any body response. I prepared to tug on his shirt.
"K-Kacch-"
"What is it Deku?" He said turning around and grabbing my wrist from my attempt. His head was only a few inches apart from my eyes.

Thump. Thump. I could hear some beating through my ears and body heat up.
Continue the conversation, Izuku! Don't just stand there!
"W-where are you going after school?" I managed to say amongst the close distance between us.
"I'll be continuing the agency with Jeanist," Kacchan said as he released his grip and turned away.

"Where are you going Deku?" I was surprised by this question. Especially the way he said it. His voice was soft, and very gentle. Almost like mums.

But he still wasn't looking at me.

"I... er applied for all the agencies All Might worked with. But they're about an hour away from home..."

Just then a flash of wind came from nowhere blowing up the long dress beneath me.
"Eek!" I clutched the fabric and held it down, hoping it won't fly up.

"Hehe, nice view Midoriya," a little voice called from behind.
Abruptly my gaze fell upon a little boy with purple hair like grapes.
"M-m-mi"
"Mineta! The fuck are you doing to shitty Deku!" Bakugo interrupted jumping in front of me. In a blink of a moment, I saw Mineta holding a small fan.

Without further explanation, Mineta was blasted into the distance by Kacchan's quirk. "Ha... haha," I began giggling. The strange voice of Mineta flew into the ends of the earth. "Poor Mineta," I chuckled a bit more before calming down. Kacchan was silent and staring at me through my laughter. And for a moment, I think I saw him fluster for a brief moment. Just a brief second.

The two of us continued walking in silence. The beautiful sunset was run with a deep navy blue hue. The day was about to end soon. I needed to confess.

"K-k-Kacchan!" I mumbled, beginning to play with my fingers. He looked on with curiosity, "These past few years..." As I uttered the words Kacchan came closer to my face.

I became quiet while staring at his face. "Spit it out, nerd."
"Y-y-yes!" Anxiety shook me up and down. Albeit I've been hearing these words for a long time, today I just got more jittery.

I hastily mumbled a paragraph, "These past few years we've been together. Our relationship has been getting better. We don't fight as much. And I enjoy being together as equals, rivals and friends. And I-"

"Nerd," Kacchan surprisingly calmly said instead of scaring me off the bat for my report. "Calm the fuck down, and tell me."

"I-I-" Stuttering from the first word. "I-..."

"Nerd, if you don't say it, I'll get mad." He intoned.

I didn't want Kacchan getting mad. That's the last thing I want. It will ruin this perfect evening and atmosphere we've created.

"I love you!" I spewed in a rush, clenching my eyes shut. My cheeks were hot. Extremely hot.

I opened one eye. Kacchan was still there. He hasn't disappeared yet. But, he wasn't looking at me anymore.

"Well. I love you not."
