You were currently focusing on some homework your boyfriend sitting behind you on the floor doing the same. Well he should be, but you haven:t heart the scratching from his pen in a while which gave away he wasn't writing. You looked over your shoulder to see Kinoshita starring at the paper. He seemed to be lost in his thoughts. 'What's the matter?' you asked with a sight. His sharp eyes rose from the paper in your direction. 'Come on. You know you can tell me everything.' you tried to comfort him. He shifted a bit. 'I talked with Ennoshita and Narita today. We were thinking about going back to the team...' he admitted. Hearing this made your eyes go wide. They left the team a while ago. But thinking about it, it didn't seem like a bad idea. Ever since the day they left they all were kind of off. Volleyball was their favourite sport after all.'Why not?' you shrugged. Kinoshita looked unsure. 'There is something else isn't it?' you asked. He turned his head so you couldn't see his face any more. With a last glance at your homework you decided it can wait and stood up. You sat down next to your boyfriend. 'You know you can't hide it from me right?' you stated matter of factly. 'I know.' he chuckled. 'I feel like we betrayed the team. We left them. I left them. What if they don't want us back?' he still wasn't looking at you. 'They would have all rights to send us away and take someone else. We weren't good enough and we let them down.' his voice got quieter. Silence took over the room. You looked at him closely while choosing your next words. 'You still see Tanaka and Nishinoya in school some times right?' you asked after a while. Kinoshita seemed abit taken aback from the seemingly sudden change of subject.'Yeah. Why?' he finally looked at you again. 'They still treat you and the others as they did before right?' you continued to ask. 'I guess...' he didn't understand what you were aiming for. 'And what makes you think that would change when you ask to get back to the team? What makes you think that the senpais you have trained with, the ones who practised with you for quiet a while,would turn you down? What exactly makes you think you won't be welcomed with open arms? Yes you left but you always thought about going back. Don't deny it I'm your girlfriend. I noticed how you looked at the gym every time we left school. So tomorrow you will go and get those stupid friends of yours and go to practice. You got me?' you looked him in the eyes a dead serious expression on your face. 'Got it!' he said. A smile appeared on your face. 'Good. Now do your homework.' you got up and sat back down. You heard his pen scratching again and a quiet 'Thank you' after a while.

'How was the camp?' you asked Kinoshita when he entered your room.'Amazing!' he said with a glint in his eyes and began to tell you everything. While he spoke you had a soft smile on your lips. 'I'm glad you had a good time.' you told him and hugged him. 'We all had.' he hugged you back. 'Thank you for building me up back then. I would've never made those experiences when it wasn't for you back then.' he mumbled in your hair. 'I'm sure you would've managed it on your own too, but it's what a partner is there for. To build you up and stand by your side.' you told him with a smile. Which made him squeeze you even tighter.
