"He just left me on seen for like, the last 17 minutes," Audrey whined, looking at her phone.

"You sure you have good wifi?" Ginny asked, taking her phone. "Yeah, you do."

"Why the fuck hasn't he responded and why the fuck does it bother me?" Audrey asked, putting her phone away.

"Maybe because you seek validation from this guy more than anyone else regarding this because he's anonymous hence can speak the clear truth, unlike others in your life who try to sugarcoat this," Ginny thoughtfully commented, holding her chin in her hand.

"Free therapy session. Woah," Audrey's eyes were wide as she tried to process Ginny's words.

"Who said it was free, hoe?" Ginny asked jokingly to which Audrey chuckled.

"Oh, putain de merde," Audrey cursed, rubbing her forehead. "Should I just go confess to Draco?"

"Yes." Ginny affirmed.

"No. That's crazy. You're crazy," Audrey sighed.

"I'm telling you, it's the best option you have. Confess to Draco. He likes you back, boom, you're in a relationship. He doesn't, boom, you still have unknown guy," Ginny logically said.

"I can't do that, Gin. I don't think I'll be able to handle it if he doesn't like me back. It's always been him," Audrey whispered, almost on the verge of tears.

"Addy, this whole thing is so unnerving. You've almost never acted like this in all the 7 years I've known you," Ginny softly said.

"That's because I care about this, Ginny. I won't fuck it up, I can't," Audrey whisper-yelled.

"Just know, whatever you're doing, it's gonna be fine. You're gonna be fine. I know you are," Ginny holds Audrey's hand in comfort, Audrey whispered a small 'thank you' whilst squeezing her hand.

Audrey breaks out in laughter. "Look at me, being all serious and stuff. Anyways, I'm gonna get up and wash my face." She awkwardly brushed off.

"ADDY! ADDY!" Pansy's voice pierced through the entire hallway, making her stop in her tracks.

"What the hell, Pans? I almost pissed myself," Audrey screamed.

"Did you text Draco anything?" Pansy asked, panting.

"No? Why would I? Besides, I don't even have his number," Audrey said, bewildered.

"But— but Theo said," Pansy tried to say in between breaths, but couldn't. So instead, she just showed the chat between her and Theo.

"I can’t wait to ravish you whole—" Audrey reads out loud, leaving Pansy entirely mortified.

"BELOW THAT, YOU MORON," Pansy hissed loudly, making Ginny cackle.

Audrey read the whole chat between them, still puzzled afterward. "But I haven't texted him."

"What? It can't be." Pansy said, also puzzled.

"Why are you guys ruling out the possibility that it could be someone else?" Audrey bitterly asked, her voice below a whisper.

"But," Pansy started, unsure, "Addy....You don't think..." Pansy wondered and suddenly gasped loudly. "Give me your phone."

"What? Why?" Addy questioned, retrieving her phone from the bed.

"I just need to take a quick look," Pansy vaguely said while talking back her phone.

Audrey handed her the phone and Pansy held both the phones simultaneously, checking something.

"IT IS!" Pansy suddenly exclaimed. "Oh my god, that fucking bastard, I’m so relieved, I can't even, I cannot believe it," She screamed with joy, leaving Audrey and Ginny terrified.

"Pans, you good?" Ginny asked, looking at her like she went crazy.

"Yes, yes. I'm good. I'm good. I'm great, even. Now if you'll excuse me," Pansy cleared her throat before she quietly slipped out of the room.

"She had unknown guy's chat open," Ginny observed, picking up Audrey's phone.

"Do you think she figured out who it is?" Audrey gasped.

"Yeah. It had to be someone good, she was clearly elated," Ginny confirmed to which Audrey hummed.

"Mi? That you?" Ron's gruff voice echoed through the broad walls of the empty hallway, almost startling the girl.

"Ron? What are you doing here?" Hermione asked, hand over her chest, startled.

"I was just taking a brisk walk," Ron said, coming nearer to her.

"Well if it's a brisk walk..." Hermione muttered and trailed off, trying to increase the distance between them.

"Listen, Mi, I gotta ask. Uh," Ron started but his confidence slipped through the sentence, leaving him speechless.

"What?" Hermione asked, looking mildy inconvenienced.

"Um, it's just, You know how I asked you to the dance?" Ron started, rubbing his palm against his elbow.

"Oh, you found someone else to take, is that it? I'll be fine. I'll ask Mclaggen, or something. If that's all, I have to go now," Hermione rambled quickly, dusting her skirt, prepared to take off.

"No, no. Wait, Mclaggen? He's such a freaking jerk. You like him, Mi?" Ron asked, sounding disgusted.

"I don't like Mclaggen. Besides, You have no right whatsoever judging me for who I like, Ron. For Godric's sake, just say whatever you wanna say and let me go already," Hermione half-yelled, trying to sound as unbothered as she could.

"Fine! I didn't know you'd get this worked up on this. I just wanted to tell you to wear something nice, unlike those awful, lifeless clothes you wear everyday," Ron yelled back, frustrated.

"Wow, Weasley, wow," Another voice interrupted their conversation. Hermione rapidly turned back and hoped it wasn't who she thought it was.

"Nott? What the hell are you doing chiming in?" Ron looked livid.

"I'm just offering an outsider's opinion. It probably won't make the girl you fancy like you back if you insult her choices like that. Just advice," Theo said, smugly smiling at a vexed Ron.

"Get out and go talk to someone who's actually interested in what you have to say, Nott," Ron shouted, taking his wand out.

"Who said no one was interested here? I am, very much," Hermione quipped, folding her hands over her chest.

"So what, you like him now?" Ron asked in disbelief.

"SHUT UP," Another loud voice burst through the hallway.

"Addy?" Hermione called out.

"Yes. Shut up. I’m on the verge of jumping off the astronomy tower right now and it would really help me not to do so if I actually had the peace to think," Audrey said, exasperated.

"Go jump off the tower, then. We're in the middle of something," Ron retorted.

"You shut up, ginger-ass idiot," Audrey rolled her eyes.

"I'm sorry, 'ginger-ass idiot'?" Ron asked, suddenly looking amused.

"Ron, what do you want? Why did you come to me at all?" Hermione asked tiredly.

"I'm getting very tired about this and this doesn't even involve me," Theo commented, yawning.

"Then leave," Ron offered.

"Come on, Nott. Let's just leave these two to continue their screaming match. I need to ask you something," Audrey said, signalling him to follow her.

"Thank you." Ron looked gratefully towards Audrey to which she flipped him off jokingly.

"What did you want to ask me, really?" Hermione repeated again.

"Remember when I asked you out, I said I only did it because I didn't want to go through the trouble of asking around..." Ron recapped, looking nervous.

"Yes, fortunately I have a very good memory," Hermione responded.

"Well...I didn't just ask you because of that," Ron trailed off awkwardly.

"What are you implying, Ron?" Hermione asked quietly.

"I like you, Mi."
