➳ you're mine

Long chapter

As soon as the door shut behind them, Ye Eun faced Junseo, crossing her arms.

"I didn't know we were gonna get married?" She asked, frowning in confusion.

Junseo blushed, oblivious to her reaction as he nodded, smiling. "Sorry.. it just came out. I planned to keep it a secret."

Ye Eun's eyes softened. She shut her eyes in defeat. All she had ever done in the end was hurt him. If anything, Junseo deserved someone better than her.

"I'm sorry, Junseo." She muttered and placed her hand on top of swollen stomach before rubbing it. "I've failed you... many times. Broken many promises I couldn't keep. You don't deserve to be with someone like me."

Junseo's smile twitched. His eyes widened and he shook his head wildly, grabbing her hands. "What...? Of course not. Ye Eun, you're all I could ever ask for. I love you, and our unborn daughter. You two are my only reason to live."

Ye Eun stared at him, speechless. She stayed silent as Junseo slowly connected their lips together. He was kissing her with so much passion, and it hurt her even more. She couldn't keep lying anymore.

So Ye Eun lightly pushed him away.

As Junseo met her eyes, he realized that she wasn't joking. His smile fell and he glanced down at the cuts in his wrists.

"I'm really sorry... being with you is amazing, but... I can't do this, Junseo. Since day one, it's always been him." Ye Eun whispered, tears rolling down her cheeks.

Junseo's eyes widened in disbelief. "What...? Is it because I'm a murderer? I-I haven't done any of that these past few months, Ye Eun. You brought some sense into me, and I realized what I was doing was wrong... please Ye Eun."

"It's not because of that." Ye Eun softly said, shaking her head. "The thing is, deep down, I know you're a nice guy. I can see the sincerity in your eyes that you won't do it anymore... but my heart just isn't here as I thought it was. I've done a terrible mistake and I know that I can't get out of it anymore, that's why, I'm sorry."

"Is meeting me... a mistake? And our baby girl, is she a mistake too?" Junseo's voice cracked.

"No!" She yelled, sighing. "Never. Meeting you was not a mistake. It was something that was bound to happen anyways, and I don't regret any of the memories I have with you. Neither is our daughter. She is a huge blessing."

Junseo stared down at the ground, swallowing back his tears. "Why...? Why is it him?"

Ye Eun gulped. "I don't know... it has always been him. I've known In Yeop since little, but those memories I spent with him were everything. Not having him in my future... will probably be another mistake I would do if I'm not honest with you."

"But what about your friend? Doesn't she love him as well?" He asked desperately.

"About that..." her voice lowered. "In Yeop told me she committed suicide. I wasn't able to have a proper sleep after that talk. But it makes my blood boil in anger. I'm more than positive someone had to do something with that."

Junseo bit his lip. "So... you're really okay with dating him?"

Ye Eun looked up at him. "What do you mean?"

"What do you mean what do I mean? What if he was behind those crimes and he just doesn't want to let you know?"

"That's impossible. In Yeop would never do that." Ye Eun whispered. "Do you really suspect him?"

Junseo's eyes darkened as he stared into her soul. "Ye Eun... I-"

"It's useless, Song. Ye Eun already knows your true self." Junseo's clone whispered behind Ye Eun.

Junseo's eyes widened. "No.."

"Junseo?" Ye Eun asked. She followed his gaze only to meet face to face with the wall.

"Your times up, Song Kang. Even In Yeop knows it. Give it up while you still have sanity left in your fucked up heart."

"Shut the fuck up!" He hissed, grabbing his head in frustration. "You're not supposed to talk to me. Get out of here!"

Ye Eun's concern grew. She grabbed his wrist before noticing the large cuts on his arm. Ye Eun gasped in disbelief. "Junseo... what is this?"

But Junseo didn't hear her. His head stammered and he collapsed on the ground, crying.

"You murderer. Soon you'll be rotting in jail for all the innocent people you've killed in your past life."

"THEY'RE NOT INNOCENT!" Junseo growled. "I had every right to kill them. They deserved to be killed, and I did for them when even the own police couldn't."

"Junseo!" Ye Eun yelled, shaking him wildly. "Who are you talking to?! Tell me!"

Junseo shoved her off. "GET OFF OF ME!"

Ye Eun gasped as she harshly landed on the ground. She winced at the pain and began to cry for help. "IN YEOP! DOHYUN!"

"What's going on?!" The door knocked loudly as In Yeop desperately tried to open it. He cursed at the locked door and looked around for the key while Dohyun stayed behind, wide-eyed.

"What's going on there?" Dohyun yelled.

"It hurts!" Ye Eun cried, grabbing onto her stomach for dear life. "Please help me!"

As if snapped out of it, Junseo looked up at her and suddenly went silent. "A-Are you okay...?"

Ye Eun stared back at him, horrified. She slowly tried to back away as he crawled towards her, giving her a soft puppy-look.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" She screamed. "You're a monster!"

"What...?" Junseo whispered, pointing at himself. "Me?"

Ye Eun glanced back at the door and carefully dragged herself to the door, never breaking eye contact with him as he watched her every move. She hopelessly reached for the doorknob and with her remaining strength, collapsed against Dohyun's arms.

"YE EUN!" In Yeop ran towards the room and punched Junseo across the face. "You fucking bastard!"

"NO! STOP!" Ye Eun pleaded. "Please leave him alone!"

Junseo scarily looked up at In Yeop and lunged up at him before they rolled on the ground, punching each other.

"We have to go, Ye Eun!" Dohyun wrapped his arm around her and began to lead her out as she hopelessly cried.

"But In Yeop, h-he's in danger!" She insisted and Dohyun carefully helped her sit back down on the couch until he noticed her soaked pants.

Dohyun's face fell. "W-Why are you wet?"

Ye Eun glanced down, grabbing her stomach as she winced in pain.

"Junseo pushed me earlier... I don't know what happened, but I feel numb right now."

"That asshole." He hissed and reached into his phone before running back to the room. Upon seeing Junseo hold up a knife, he dropped the phone.

In Yeop cautiously glanced at the knife Junseo held, and he slowly backed away until they walked into the living room.

Ye Eun eyes widened as she noticed the commotion. "Junseo... what are you doing?"

"Junseo, put that knife down." Dohyun carefully said, "Your daughter might be arriving at any moment. Put it down."

Junseo glanced over at Ye Eun, before he smiled. "Really? Is our baby girl... finally coming into the world?"

Ye Eun stared at him, speechless. She slowly nodded. "Yes... that's why, Junseo, drop the knife. Y-You promised me you would stop hurting people."

Junseo looked back down at the knife, tightening his hold on it in anger. "You said that when you used to love me... but now, you don't."

"Didn't you listen to her? Put it down!" In Yeop demanded.

"In Yeop, stop! You're going to get him mad!" Ye Eun pleaded.

Junseo watched the interaction and his blood boiled. He looked back up at In Yeop with a scary glare. "It's all because of you..."

"What?" In Yeop scoffed, "If anything, you're the sick one in the head."

"You brainwashed my Ye Eun!" He yelled. "You stole her from me. It's always been you since the beginning..."

"YOU MURDERED YE EUN'S PARENTS!" In Yeop shot back. "I saw you sneak into her house that night... Yet she still stuck by you because she trusted your pathetic ass. You proved her wrong, though, and you're still proving her wrong."

"What did you just say?" Dohyun whispered in disbelief. Ye Eun was equally as shocked.

Junseo gritted his teeth, glaring back at In Yeop. "YOU'RE LYING! You're just saying this because you hate me for impregnating the woman you love. Don't believe it, Ye Eun!"

"I'M NOT FUCKING LYING!"

"YES YOU ARE!"

"Shut up. Both of you."

The guys turned around to look back at Ye Eun, who stared at Junseo in disappointment. "Why, Junseo? Why would you do that?"

"Haha! Looks like your times up, Song Kang." His clone chuckled behind him.

Junseo's eyes darkened. He glared at In Yeop before spatting out the truth. "THEY DESERVED IT FOR HOW THEY TREATED YOU! Parents like that have no right to exist in this world. You should be thanking me!"

"You piece of shit." Dohyun muttered, tears rolling down his cheeks in anger. He was in utter shock.

Ye Eun shut her eyes in defeat. Her hands lowered to her abdomen before she spat out harsh words. "You asshole. I can't believe you would pretend like nothing ever happened after murdering my OWN parents!"

Junseo froze. His grip on the knife loosened as he slowly turned to Ye Eun, who was glaring at him.

"Give up," In Yeop demanded. "Your time is up, Junseo."

"Fuck you... FUCK YOU!" Junseo cried.

"JUNSEO, STOP!"

Stab!

In Yeop's eyes widened in shock. He glanced down at the knife plunged inside of him. Junseo showed no mercy as he attempted to ram the knife deeper before In Yeop weakly reached for his wrist to stop him.

Ye Eun couldn't watch anymore. She ran towards them and shoved herself on Junseo, causing him to lose his balance and fall.

Junseo looked at her, horrified, as she screamed and pulled out her own knife before plunging it against his chest.

"YE EUN!" Dohyun yelled.

In Yeop fell on his knees on the ground, watching the scene unfold before his very own eyes. "Ye Eun..." he whispered, shocked.

But she didn't stop. "You ruined my life... you stole away everything I was planning to do in my future... I FUCKING HATE YOU!"

A sad tear leaked out of Junseo's eye. He slowly reached over and placed his hand over her's.

"Kill me." Junseo mumbled. "I'd rather you kill me than continue to live."

Ye Eun stared at him, wide-eyed.

"I SAID KILL ME!" He screamed at her.

But she was frozen. As much as she hates him, as much as Ye Eun had the temptation to end his life, she couldn't bring herself to do it. The pain in her abdomen worsened and she couldn't feel her daughters kicks anymore.

So Ye Eun let go of the knife, causing it to drop next to Junseo, who never took his eyes off of her.

"Ye Eun! Get away from there!" Dohyun yelled. Just as he began to run to grab her out, Ye Eun's world spinned and before she knew it, Junseo wrapped his arm around her and stood up, clutching the knife tightly around her neck.

In Yeop weakly stood up, wide-eyed. "LET GO OF HER!"

Junseo shook his head wildly, glaring at them as he wrapped his arm around her. "If Ye Eun doesn't pick me... she won't be able to pick you either...."

Ye Eun weakly wrapped her hand on his arms, struggling to free herself. "Junseo... please let go of me."

"NEVER!" He yelled, pulling her forward in his arms. "You're mine. You're no one else's but mine!"

Dohyun glanced behind before he reached under the dresser and grabbed a gun, pointing at him. "LET GO OF MY SISTER!"

"Go ahead, KILL ME!" Junseo fired back. "But just so you know, Ye Eun will also die."

"You're going to kill your own daughter as well!"

"Let it happen. I don't want her to be in hands of you two."

Ye Eun was on the verge of passing out. She held his arms tightly, and just when she collapsed, Junseo lost focus, causing Dohyun to pull the trigger forward.

The last thing she remembered is falling on her stomach and passing out.
