➳ two faced

It had been over a week since Ye Eun didn't go to school. She had already been used to it, besides the fact that she stayed in Junseo's house while he wasn't home.

He'd assure her that he was going out to work, or would go shop for food and other necessities for the house. Ye Eun wouldn't mind, especially since it seemed that Junseo seemed to be less crazy. Or at least that's what she thought.

"Ye Eun! Your friend came to see you." Junseo announced.

Ye Eun sat up from the couch, glancing behind Junseo. Minah walked in, smiling widely.

"Hey! I missed you so much!" She exclaimed as she hugged Ye Eun, who was shocked.

"W-Why are you here?" She forced a laugh.

Minah pouted. "What do you mean? I came to see my bestfriend and her boyfriend. What else?"

Junseo glanced at Minah suspiciously before smiling back at Ye Eun, leaning over to kiss her forehead. "I'll be upstairs for a while. You two have a lot to catch up to."

"Oh... okay." She nodded, dazed.

Minah grinned. "Thank you, Junseo."

Her smile fell a little when Junseo gave her a disgusted look. He walked away until he was no longer heard, and Ye Eun faced Minah.

"Looks like your boyfriend doesn't really like me..." she muttered.

Ye Eun sighed. "Forget about him. How's it going in school?"

"It's going okay. The rumor of you being pregnant got around though."

"Seriously?" She rolled her eyes in anger, "How the fuck did everyone find out?"

"Don't know," Minah shrugged. "But it lessened down after In Yeop threatened the ones who spilled it in the first time to tell everyone it was a lie. So now many people don't talk about it anymore."

Ye Eun bit her lip in thought. It wasn't as surprising that her life kept getting fucked up each second. She knew that was her reality and she had to accept it, but absolutely hates the fact that nosy people still somehow have to know the details of her life without her permission.

"Yeah... what are you gonna do about him?" She asked.

"What do you mean? It's over already." Ye Eun snapped, glaring up at her.

Minah rolled her eyes. "That's not what I mean, Ye Eun. You two literally kissed. Like actually touched lips-"

"Shut up!" She hissed and slapped her hand to her mouth, before glancing back at the hallway. "If Junseo hears that, you're so dead."

Minah grabbed Ye Eun's wrist and pulled her off of her. "Tell me the truth," she insisted. "Do you like him...?"

Ye Eun stared at her, horrified. Did she? She couldn't exactly remember when was the last time since her heart fluttered for Hwang In Yeop.

"Did you come here because In Yeop told you to make me apologize to him or something? I already made it clear that we weren't gonna talk anymore." Ye Eun mumbled, blushing.

Minah glanced behind her, where Junseo stood still behind the wall, listening to the whole conversation. His eyes were wide with shock, and it looked to her as if he was gonna sprung out at any moment.

"Nope. I came here because I wanted to. The question about In Yeop is from me, he has nothing to do with it." She said, before smirking back at Junseo who fumed with anger.

Ye Eun sighed, catching their attention. "To be honest..." she whispered, and Junseo's anxiety increased, "I don't know, Minah. I always had a crush on In Yeop, but then I met Junseo everything changed."

Minah stared at Junseo in the eye as she leaned closer to Ye Eun. "And?" She whispered back, "What do you think of In Yeop?"

Ye Eun kept her gaze on the ground. "... I think my old feelings are starting to return."

Junseo couldn't hear anymore of this. He walked upstairs, dazed.

"Hm? How come? I mean, I thought you had feelings for Junseo." Minah nervously laughed.

"I do..." Ye Eun said, "But there's something about him that bothers me a little..."

Her eyes darkened. "What is it?"

"Junseo is a great guy. He really seems to love me and he is an amazing boyfriend but I feel that he is a little... insane, you know?" Ye Eun glanced back at the hallway before she continued. "Don't tell him I told you this but... Junseo seems to have a really dark past. I-I thought I could change him regardless and it seems to be working but... augh, I don't know anymore. I feel like he doesn't deserve someone like me. Junseo deserves someone better..."

"What did he do?" Minah asked, pretending to look clueless.

Ye Eun bit her lip before she spoke.

"He murdered someone."

"Oh my gosh... who?! Do you know them?" Minah whispered.

Ye Eun shook her head, glancing down at her swollen stomach. "No. It seems to have been someone Junseo knew though... I was too scared to ask for the whole story but all he said was that she abused him and murdered his parents."

Minah glanced back at the hallway, before she stood up, causing Ye Eun to look up. "Has he been hurting you? If that's the case you should let your brother know."

"No." Ye Eun coldly replied, "Junseo would never do that. I know especially since I'm carrying his child now."

"So you really are keeping the baby?"

"That's right."

Junseo collapsed on the ground, wide-eyed.

"Looks like it's over." His clone retorted, laughing maniacally.

Junseo slowly looked up, giving him a death stare. "Why...? I don't understand. I was so sure she loved me back... I tried my best to give her all the love and support and... somehow he's still on her mind."

"I told you she would stop having feelings for you once she knew your true self," the clone smirked. "It seems that you're the only one here that's still taking this relationship too seriously."

"There's no way..." Junseo growled underneath his breath. "She slept with me again... there's no way..."

He leaned forward, meeting his eyes, before sighing. "When will you ever learn? There's no more hope for you, Song Kang."

"Junseo? Are you there?"

Junseo looked up and stormed to the door before he opened it, staring down at Minah who innocently smiled.

"You bitch." He hissed, "This was all planned, right?"

Minah walked past him and crossed her arms. "I made your precious wife go to sleep. She shouldn't be able to hear us. Are you going to stick to your plan or try to do something else? Because to me it seems that you're failing terribly at making her love you."

Junseo's face tightened in anger. He glanced at the hammer behind her, before slowly smiling. "So? What am I supposed to do, your highness?"

"Take Ye Eun with you and move out of this town. Then In Yeop and her will never be able to contact each other again. You know the drill," Minah shrugged. "The faster you do this and listen to me, I guarantee you that Ye Eun will look at you like she did before."

"Haha! Take her out of this town far away so that her brother can find me and murder me? You must be out of your fucking mind."

Minah frowned at him. "Excuse you? Who's the idiot here that exposed his own self? Not my fault you weren't careful enough. Plus, can't you just get rid of her brother too? You already did that with her parents."

He shook his head. "Impossible. Dohyun is her brother and as far as I know, he never hurt her, so I can't kill him for no reason."

"You are so difficult to work with... so what are you gonna do? In Yeop and her like each other. Are you just going to let her run to him?"

"Never." Junseo glared at her, "I'd rather kill that asshole."

Minah stared at him, before bursting into laughter. "Do you know who you're talking to right now, you psychopath? I am In Yeop's ex girlfriend. If you ever touch him just know that I won't be by your side anymore. Especially since I'm having this conversation recorded at this moment."

Junseo was starting to get irritated by her. He didn't need an ally; rather, Minah was an obstacle getting in the way of his plans and he didn't want to work with someone like her.

"Hurry up, make up your mind already!" Minah snapped. "Your stupid girlfriend might wake up and if she sees us talking about this, we're both getting in trouble."

"Don't talk about Ye Eun like that!" He yelled.

Minah scoffed, smirking. "You think I care? She's been nothing but a disturbance to my life."

Junseo reached over and grabbed her collar, yanking her forward.

"Say that again, and I'll slit your throat." He hissed.
