For the rest of the day, Ye Eun was desperate to see Junseo. She dreaded to go to his house and hug him so tightly she wouldn't ever be able to go, but neither Dohyun nor her parents had called her about the situation.

"Come on Ye Eun." Minah called out.

She looked up and saw her friends waiting for her at the door. Ye Eun made eye contact with In Yeop and awkwardly averted her gaze away before standing up, making her way over to them.

"Are you going home after this?" In Yeop asked.

"Yes. I have no choice." She replied.

Minah glanced between them, and cleared her throat. "Well, at least we'll be able to see you at school everyday!"

"I guess so."

Ye Eun sighed once they were outside. It was time she said goodbye to her friends. As she turned to the other side, her eyes widened in surprise when she saw Junseo waiting by the side of the street in his school uniform, looking around like a lost puppy.

"Is that Junseo?" Minah asked behind her.

She nodded, smiling. In Yeop's chin tightened at the sight of Ye Eun's boyfriend and he turned around and walked away.

Minah looked at him. "Where are you going?"

"I have to get home. See you two tomorrow." He fibbed and left.

"Hm... I wouldn't be so sure that that's the actual reason." Minah mumbled. She glanced over at Ye Eun who was excitedly waving at the other side of the street to get Junseo's attention.

"Junseo!" Ye Eun called out. Her smile widened when Junseo finally looked at her way and he grinned, waving back like a little child.

Minah smiled, and faced her. "I should go now. Bye!"

"Bye!" Ye Eun waved at her friend before she faced Junseo again, who this time was crossing the street towards her. She blushed and tightened her hold on the bookbag strap, waving at her boyfriend.

"I never messaged you that I'd be here. I thought it would be nice if I surprised you instead." He chuckled.

Ye Eun shook her head frantically. "It's okay, I don't mind. It feels like a long time since I've seen you anyways."

Junseo grabbed her hand and swung it back and forth. "So what happened? Did your parents get really mad that they had to place security cameras in your house?"

"Something like that. Although mom..." she trailed off.

He pulled her off the street way before they began walking to the other side of the street. "What about your mom?"

"Sometimes I feel like she doesn't like me. It's always Dohyun she appreciates more. The same thing goes for dad."

Junseo frowned, upset. She noticed and forced a smile. "It's okay, really. I'm kinda used to it. Besides, I'm almost moving out once I finish highschool. Then we can be together."

"But... are you sure you're really okay? You sounded pretty upset the way you messaged me."

Ye Eun suddenly remembered the nasty words about her from her mother. Her mom had always bodyshamed Ye Eun since middle school, when in reality she was the exact opposite of "fat".

She began to diet like crazy she developed anemia and passed out one day in school. Ye Eun thought her mother would be proud of her for losing weight, but instead she got a scolding for looking too "thin".

Since then, Ye Eun never really understood her parents.

Ye Eun was staring into space the whole time she didn't notice she had begun to cry. Junseo panicked at her reaction and awkwardly looked around, not knowing what to say.

"I hate them..." she hissed, tightening her hold on Junseo's hand. "I wish... they were dead."

"Ye Eun? Are you okay?" Junseo softly asked.

Ye Eun shook her head, looking at him. "Living with them is hell, Junseo... I can't bear live with them anymore. Especially with Dohyun gone. I thought it would be better but.. haha, I was very wrong. I'm so pathetic."

"Don't say that!" He enveloped her into a hug. Ye Eun stared ahead, wide-eyed. "Please don't say that... I love you, Ye Eun, you're beautiful. You're not pathetic..."

She teared up at his words. Ye Eun tightly hugged him back, nodding. "I love you too Junseo... I love you very much."

"Don't worry Ye Eun... I promise I will protect at you no matter the cost." Junseo pecked her lips, smiling. "You won't be suffering soon, I give you my word on that."

Ye Eun nodded, chuckling at his adorableness. "Yeah, I trust you."

For the rest of the walk home, Ye Eun walked back alone. She had let Junseo know about the security cameras beforehand, and he completely understood and left to his house.

She dropped her bookbag on the ground and made herself comfortable on the couch. Ye Eun glanced at her phone and was about to call Dohyun before he walked out of the kitchen.

Upon seeing her, he sighed. "Look, I told our parents and they said no."

Her jaw dropped. "What?"

"They said they weren't gonna remove the cameras unless I watch over you, and that's not gonna happen. I'm really busy with college, Ye Eun. I'm sorry but you're gonna have to deal with this as your lesson to not mess up again."

Ye Eun glared at him. "You're so useless! How the fuck can they say no to you? Dohyun, do you realize that they're going too far in placing cameras in this house?! That's an invasion of privacy, and I'm NOT underage anymore to be watched like that!"

Dohyun shook his head. "I don't know what else I can do for you. Either you tell them to remove them yourself or behave properly. But in the meantime, our parents should get home tomorrow."

"They already said no!" She cried, "Please Dohyun, I swear you have to convince them somehow or else I'm going to snitch on you, I swear!"

"I'm sorry, no is no. I have to get going now."

Ye Eun watched as Dohyun walked past her to get out. Once the door shut behind him, she broke down in huge sobs.

"FUCK! I fucking hate this family. Hope you all go to hell!"

Minah gasped. "They refused?"

Ye Eun nodded, sinking back into her chair. Her eyes were swollen from crying so much yesterday that she didn't bother washing her face before leaving to school.

"What did your boyfriend say to that?" In Yeop asked.

"He sounded really upset but kept comforting me. It made me feel a little better, but to honest I still feel like shit." She mumbled.

"Don't say that. Try to look at the bright side; your parents are coming home today and maybe you can try to get on their good side." Minah suggested.

Ye Eun laughed. "Impossible. No matter how much I try to please them it's never enough. At this point I might start thinking that I'm not my mom's actual daughter."

"Don't say stupid things." In Yeop frowned.

She shrugged in response. Ye Eun didn't care anymore. She might as well die.

Once classes ended, Minah walked to her seat. "How about we hang out for a bit? You said your parents won't be home until five in the afternoon."

"It's okay, I was planning to surprise Junseo at his school." Ye Eun smiled.

"Aw, well, at least wash your face first! You look like a literal mess."

In Yeop stayed behind as Ye Eun and Minah left to the bathroom. He sighed and went to his locker to get home.

"Which highschool does he go to?" Minah asked from the stalls.

"Seoul highschool." Ye Eun replied as she patted her face dry with her towel.

Minah stepped out and walked over to the sink to wash her hands. "It was the first time I ever saw him in uniform. Even in uniform he looks handsome, LOL."

"Tell me about it." She smiled, grabbing her lipstick before applying a small portion around her lips to make them less chapped.

"Woah there, you look like you're getting ready to get banged again."

Ye Eun blushed, inspecting herself in the mirror. "Do I really look like I'm wearing too much makeup...?"

Minah burst out laughing, and slung an arm around her. "I'm just kidding. You look hot. Now go and make Junseo fall for you again."

"I'm nervous." She admitted.

"You'll do just fine!"
