IN KAIRA'S ROOM

Naira was drying her hairs while Kartik was bathing in some other bathroom after playing holi with the muddy water. They didn't have much conversation after dadi scolded them as they both rushed to have a shower and clean themselves. Kartik came inside while rubbing his hairs with towel. He saw her and decided to tease her. He went towards and wrapped the towel around her. He pulled her towards him making her gasp.

Naira: Kartik kya haii
Kartik: hadh hai pehle khud hi kehti ho. I don't give you time aur ab jab se aya hu. You are just being rude
Naira: you just spoiled my plants
Kartik: yeh plants mujhse jyada important kabse ho gye
Naira: jabse
Kartik(cutting her): well I know the answer to it. Leave it.
Naira(keeping her forehead on his chest): I am sorry for being so rude. I was just upset due to the morning incident.
Kartik: I am sorry too. I know should not have shouted on you like that.
Naira:  I miss being around you.

Kartik wiped the tear that rolled out from her eye and hugged her. He mumbled sorry and hid his face in her neck. Her scent hit his nostrils which made him how much he actually missed her these days. Although they were living together yet they were far away from each other. Naira too wrapped her arms around him. They remained in each other's embrace for a while.

Kartik(unwrapping himself): gharpe koi nhi hai aaj
Naira: hum dono k ilava toh koi nhi hai
Kartik: so we are going out to have lunch
Naira: we are not. I am too tired to go out
Kartik: kitni aalsi ho naa tum
Naira: we can order online right
Kartik: what do you wanna eat
Naira: anything you like.
Kartik: baad mei muh mat banana k yeh kya order kiya hai
Naira: muh mai nhi tum banate ho so plzz
Kartik: we will see. Kaun kya karta hai
Naira: fine

IN DINNING AREA

It took almost 45 minutes to get the food delivered. During the last 45 minutes Kartik was busy with his presentation which was needed tomorrow in a meeting while Naira was busy in her own world thinking about sth. At last when the food arrived, Naira was the one who went to get it while Kartik was waiting here in the dinning area.

Naira: why did you ordered Chinese. What is with your obsession with this chinese food. Mai thak gyi hu yaar yeh kha kha kar. You both brother-sister duo are obsession with chinese.
Kartik: maine order karne se pehle pucha tha. Tab tumne hi bola tha na whatever you like.
Naira: lekin mujhe kya pta tha tumhe chinese pasand hai
Kartik: don't tell me you don't know about my likes and dislikes naira.
Naira: toh tumhe bhi kahan pta hai that I don't like chinese
Kartik: this is not chinese. It has Japanese dishes too
Naira: sushi is a chinese dish
Kartik: it is a Japanese dish
Naira: I don't like it
Kartik: kal ko kehna I don't like you.

Naira went towards the table to serve food for themselves without replying him. Kartik too seated himself after declaring himself as the winner. She too sat next to him and asked him to serve for himself. He just mumbled sth in his mind and served for both of them.

Naira: is it necessary to eat with these chopsticks
Kartik: don't tell me you don't know how to eat with chopsticks. Meri biwi hoke tumhe chopsticks use karni nhi aati
Naira: agar mujhe yeh khana hi nhi pasand toh mei chopsticks use karna kyu sikhu
Kartik: Well let me help you
Naira: no way I can use by hands. Mera haath sahi salamat so I don't need these wooden sticks
Kartik: let me
Naira: no I don't want to
Kartik: naira
Naira: well isme sikhne ka kya hai. Aise bhi toh kha sakte hai right

She stabbed the sushi with the chopstick and lifted it while Kartik didn't know what to say.

Kartik: agar aisa kar sakte toh we could have use fork
Naira: trust me china k logo ki akho k saath saath dimaag bhi chota hota hoga. Isliye yeh idea dimaag mei nhi aaya hoga(no offense to the Chinese people)
Kartik: jab tum bahar giri thi tab kahi tumhare sar mei chot toh nhi lagi. Kya behki behki baatein kar rhi ho
Naira: I don't like this. Can we order sth else
Kartik: tumne ek bite bhi nhi li abhi
Naira: lekin I don't know
Kartik: hold these stick like this(helping her)

Naira did as he told her to do. She didn't learn to use them completely but she could survive while eating with chopsticks without embarrassing herself anymore. Later they completed their lunch with naira throwing tantrums and Kartik just handling her.

IN HALL

Naira was sitting on the sofas lost in her thoughts when Kartik came with ice creams. He too has developed a liking towards ice cream now. He settled himself next to her while Naira just leaned her head on his shoulder.

Naira: you know kartik
Kartik: don't you think tum aaj kal you know you know bohat kehne lagi. How will I know unless you tell me.
Naira: I was going to tell you
Kartik: fine
Naira: when I just realized one thing.
Kartik: what
Naira: we still have lots of things to know about each other. We still behave as kids sometimes.
Kartik: Naira
Naira: I just realized I am not ready to care of our baby just yet. I behave so childish sometimes how I will be able to take care of him/her. Mai tumhare saath kaise behave karti tumhe toh pta hai. I still need to learn so many things. I think you are right I am not capable enough of handling such a big responsibility. It is better I change myself before we actually plan to start our family. I am so irritating and irresponsible.
Kartik: stop it Naira. Aisa kuch nhi hai. Yeh khayal khayal kahan se aaya tumhare dimaag mei. It is not wrong to be carefree with someone you love. Maine aaj tak tumhe kuch kaha so being carefree. And yes being irresponsible. Do you even realize how much you have changed dadi and papa within the span of one year. Do you know how nicely you handle my anger. Do you know naksh always ask for you whenever he is troubled. We love you the way you are so stop troubling yourself and this tiny brain fo your mind with useless thoughts.
Naira: lekin
Kartik: I know tumhare dimaag yeh baat kahan se aa rhi hai lekin aisa kuch nhi hai. I am really sorry for shouting on you and even for shouting at you in the last one month. It was never your fault but I blamed you.
Naira: I am been irritating you so much from yesterday.
Kartik: don't you think I deserved it
Naira: it was my fault that our company went in losses.
Kartik: pehli baat you can ask anyone in this house sab yahi bolege I deserved  some punishment for being ignorant towards you. And you instead of fighting chose to solve it calmly. So stop saying you were irritating. I know deserved it and I have no problem with you being like this with me.
And secondly yes we had losses but you know that it was me who asked you to step back so stop blaming yourself. It was my overprotectiveness and fear that I didn't let you work with him. Trust me I don't regret even a slight for doing so. For me it is always you who will come first.
Naira: but you were the only one who had bear papa's scoldings for that mater  everyone's cuz they thought you were forcing your decisions on me
Kartik: you know that I wasn't. Right?
Kartik(naira nodded): that's what matters.

Naira hugged him while kartik caressed her hairs. He just realized he should have talked to her a long back cuz deep inside it did hurt her somewhere. They needed a closure to this but failed because of lack of communication. Naira had her own share of fears and insecurities. She wanted to talk to Kartik but couldn't gather the courage. She feared he would blame her and she wasn't ready for being blamed. She was actually scared of his anger.

Kartik kissed her forehead and side hugged her. He loved her for the way she was. The way she puts everyone before her ownself. No doubt he often speaks rubbish in anger but deep down he knew he won't be able to survive without this beautiful hurricane of his life. The last month though he didn't talk to her yet he knew she was there for him. She would always be there even in his worse times.

Kartik: God I was so stupid to ignore you
Naira: happy realisation
Kartik: Naira
Naira: hmmm
Kartik: let's promise each other we will not hide anything from each other. I know you were having all these insecurities from me cuz of my stupidity but promise me chahe jo marzi ho you won't hide anything and let me know
Naira(kissing his cheeks): I promise
Kartik: this is not the way to seal the deal. (Attacking her lips) this is

Kartik pulled her in his lap and pressed his lips on hers. It was after almost a month they kissed each other like this. There were small lip lock or peck on the lips by each other while the other was sleeping. In the heat of the moment, they didn't realise where they were and kartik made naira lie on the sofa. Naira too pulled him on her and were kissing each other hungrily. When  naira tried to exchange their position in order to come on top of him but both of them fell down.

Kartik: shit
Naira: aah
Kartik: lagi toh nhi
Naira: umm nhi you fine right
(She got up and helped him too)
Kartik: yeah

They awkwardly stared into each other eyes until naira started to laugh. Kartik too joined her. They were interrupted by luv-kush's voice who came from school.

Luv(both ran towards her): bhabhi hum aa gye
Kush(both hugged her): we missed you
Naira(hugging them): I missed you too.
Kartik: oh hello mai bhi hu yahan. Aur yeh kya miss you lagai hui hai. Abhi subah hi toh mile the tum log
Luv: aap hume miss nhi karte toh hum kyu kare
Kush: aur na hi aap humare saath ab video games khelte ho.

Kartik bent down on the their level and tried to pacify them. Naira was adoring the trio as Kartik offered them to take them to an amusement park next week as an compensation. He too pacified them with his puppy eyes. Later they both went to their room to change.

Later,Kaira spent the whole noon with each other basically talking about various things like Naira decided to have a permanent job in Neil's company and Kartik to launch a collection of Gold jewellery next week. They were lots to catch up for both of them about each other.

IN EVENING

Kartik had to make some presentation for tomorrow so he was busy preparing it while naira was outside near the gate waiting for dadi. If manish or anyone got to know dadi was out naira knew they both have to bare their scoldings. She just wished that dadi came before anyone else. She qas trying to reach dadi by calling her but she wasn't picking up the call. Later she saw her coming with frown on her face

Naira(moving towards her): aap kahan reh gyi thi. Mai kabse apka intzaar kar rhi hu
Dadi: tumne kaveri ji ko call karke bataya k hume fried food na khane de pta hai hume vaha bhi boiled khana khana pada. Kis janam ki dushmani nikal thi ho
Naira(hugging her): I love you so much na isliye. Acha batayiye aapne mera kaam kiya
Dadi: tumhare chakar mei hume Suhasini Goenka ko chori karni padi
Naira: chori nhi thi yeh
Suhasini: aur kya tha
Naira: mai aap k liye sab se jhuth bol sakti aap mere liye itna nhi kar sakte the kya
Dadi: itna karti ho isliye kiya aur khabardar aage se hume kuch aisa vaisa karne ko bola toh
Naira: okay but thank you so much

Naira went towards the car to get her dahlia while dadi just smiled at her excitement and shaked her head. Though she showed she was hurt when she came to know naira called her badi dadi and restricted her to tell her(Suhasini) have fried food yet somewhere she really felt happy seeing her concern. Kartik who heard most of their conversation stared at his dadi who was smiling and staring at naira. He went towards her to talk to her.

Kartik(standing next to dadi): should I be jealous
Dadi: kyu kya hua
Kartik: aaj kal apko naira pe kuch zyada hi pyaar aa raha hai
Dadi: ab tumhare pass toh time hai nhi
Kartik: dadii
Dadi: kya dadi. Aaj akhri baar jaane de rahe hai agar kal se bina kuch bataye gye toh dekhna phir.
Kartik: I am sorry

Kartik hugged her while she too patted his back. No body could ever love him as much as his dadi did. He wasn't mumma's boy but his dadu's. Before naira it was only her who would read his mind. Their moment was spoiled when another car honked. It was his father who also wished naira first and side hugged her after coming home.

Kartik just realized one thing it was not only him but his whole family who would find naira first after coming back home. He couldn't have more happy than this ever. He knew they all loved her more than they loved him and he had no problem with it. At last it was her happiness which matters the most for him.

IN HALL

Almost everyone was home by the evening except mansi. But it was just shubham,kartik and Naira in the hall. Kartik was busy in his laptop while Naira was talking to shubham actually teasing him. Kartik just ignored them and concentrated on his work.

Naira: shubham
Shubham: hmmm
Naira: tumne bataya nhi date pe kab jaa rahe ho
Shubham: I didn't even tell her anything bhabhi
Naira: aww are we feeling shy to confess
Shubham: aisa kuch nhi hai I need some time
Naira: haa taki koi aur impress karke propose karde
Shubham: bhabhi
Naira: davar ji kya hoga apka
Shubham: aap meri chinta mat kijiye apni kijiye
Naira: mai kise propose karu
Shubham: apko pta hai aaj bhai ko kaun milne aaya tha
Naira: kaun aya tha

Kartik who had turned deaf ear to them earlier immaediately closed his laptop and diverted his focus on his foolish brother of his. He was very well known to the fact that his brother will leave no chance to infuriate Naira. He tried stopping him but here shubham already dropped the bomb.

Shubham: his childhood friend
Naira: toh isme kya hai. Tum nhi milte apne dosto se
Shubham: haa milta hu lekin anushka ki baat alag hai.
Kartik: trust me shubham bande ki shakal achi na ho toh baat achi karleta hai lekin. I don't know vani ne kya dekha hai tum mei jo tumhe ghas dal rhi hai
Shubham: bhaiya plz you are just being jealous.
Kartik: trust me beta mai chahu toh bohat kuch kar sakta hu.
Naira: yeh Anushka kaun hai.
Shubham: voh bhaiya ke bachpan ka pyaar I mean bachpan ki dost hai
Kartik: jispe shubham ko crush tha lekin osne ise koi bhav nhi diya.
Shubham: aap oska picha chodhte tab mujhe bhav diti na.
Kartik: shut up
Shubham: kyu aap nhi chahte bhabhi ko Anushka k baare mei pta chale
Naira: stop it guys.
Kartik(throwing the cushion on Shubham): exactly stop it Shubham
Shubham(throwing the cushions on Kartik and naira both): first stop teasing me than
Naira(throwing the cushion towards shubham): jo tumne aaj tak mujhe aur kartik ko tang kiya hai oska kya

But to her bad luck, she missed the target and it hit the vase. The vase fell down and broke. Three of them immediately got up from their seats when they heard Manish's voice. It was his imported vase which was gifted by one of his friends. They all had horrible expressions on their faces while manish stared at the broken vase in front of him.

Manish: yeh kisne todha hai
Shubham: bhaiya ne
Kartik: maine?
Naira: dekha maan bhi gya
Kartik: mai bata nhi raha puch raha hu. Maine? Maine kab todha yeh. Mai toh kitni door tha
Manish: I am sure yeh khud toh gir nhi gya
Naira: papa bahar hawa bohat chal rhi hai shayad osi k vajah se gir gya hoga
Manish: haa aur yeah cushion bhi hawa se yahan aya hoga.
Naira: mujhe na dadi ko onki medicine deni hai. Mai dekar aati hu
Kartik: mujhe bhi ek mail bhejna hai aur laptop charged nhi hai bye
Shubham: oh shit mujhe toh apne dost se milne jana tha. Bhabhi k chakar mei late ho gya.

They all three literally ran from there without even looking at manish. Manish tried calling them but they didn't came back. He shouted but they were long gone. Suwarna who was in kitchen came our after listening his voice.

Suwarna: kya hua manish ji
Manish:.......

IN KAIRA'S ROOM

Kartik who was coming behind was blocked by Naira on the door. Kartik pushed her and went a head. Naira followed him and crossed her arms.

Kartik: kya hai
Naira: yeh anushka ka kya chakar hai
Kartik: she is a friend aur mujhe milne aayi
Naira: aaj tak toh aayi aaj aisa kya hua jo tumhari yaad aagyi ose
Kartik(slipping his hands on her waist): are we jealous by any chance
Naira: are we trying to change the topic
Kartik(mumbling near her ear): meri itni himmat
Naira(wrapping her arms around his shoulder): btw I would love to meet her .
Kartik: so we are not jealous
Naira: should I
Kartik: no
Naira(kissing his cheeks): I do trust you more than myself
Kartik(kissing her earlobe): and I love you more than myself
Naira: I love you too
Kartik: Finally you said it. Pta hai kitni mehnat lagi
Naira: haa ek mahina ignore karna phir bhar bhar k chillana. I know
Kartik: tumhara kuch nhi ho sakta

Kartik joined his forehead with her while his hands rested on her waist. He leaned forward to capture her lips while naira closed her eyes. When their lips they both felt ecstatic. They moved their lips in sync with each others. Kartik broke the kiss when he felt her out of breath. He picked her up and laid her on the bed once he closed the door.

Naira: everyone would be waiting downstairs for us
Kartik: do you want to get scoldings or

Before he could finish Naira pulled him on top of her..............
