IN HALL

Naira was massaging Kartik's feet while kartik was busy in his phone. Just than he remembered he forgot to ask her that why she broke her phone.

Kartik: naira
Naira: hmm
Kartik: tumne apna phone kyu toda. I know voh gir kar nhi balki phek kar tuta hai

Naira who was just trying hard to act normal stiffened when he asked why she broke her phone and kartik realised her body posture too. He shook her and again asked her what happened.

Kartik: kya hua
Naira: kuch nhi voh tum kuch keh rahe the
Kartik: hmm voh tumhare phone ko kya hua
Naira: voh baar baar hang ho raha tha and on top of it I was having a bad headache. Being frustrated maine phek diya.
Kartik: seriously tum bhi
Naira: kyu tumne akele ne cheeze todane ka theka le rakha hai
Kartik: nhi nhi aisa kisne kaha jo marzi todo mujhe kya

Kartik shrugged off and continued scrolling through his phone. He thought maybe he was just overthinking while naira got busy massaging his feet again once he got busy in his phone. Maybe she wasn't ready to inform him about kabir or wanted to talk privately.

Once naira was done she shifted his feet on the couch and got up from her place. She decided to go towards the kitchen and help the ladies but kartik stopped her again. Before naira could take a step kartik interrupted.

Kartik: kidhar madam
Naira: kartik plz stop it now. Mai theek hu ab.
Kartik: no way mai koi risk nhi le raha
Naira: kaisa risk
Kartik: dekho tumhare headache ho raha tha right toh tumne frustration k chakar mei phone tod diya. Agar phirse tumhare headache hua I am sure tum mujhe hi pheko gi
Shubham: kyu
Kartik: kyuki sabse zyada yeh mujhse hi frustrate hoti isliye mai koi risk nhi le raha. Aaj tum koi kaam nhi karogi and that's final
Naira(irritated):  kuch bhi huh
Kartik(pulling her back): dekho abhi irritate bhi ho rhi ho. Irritation kab frustration mei badal jaye pta bhi nhi lagega.
Naira(sitting next to him): kartik
Kartik: hmm
Naira: jab aaj tum gire the kaise gire the. I mean kahi galti se sar k bal toh nhi gire the
Kartik: kyu mai

As soon as he realized what she meant he glared at her while she chuckled seeimg his reaction. Others were kind of enjoying their everyday banter except dadi and gayu.

Kartik: tumhe sharam nhi aati tumhare pati ko lagi hai aur tum oska mazak bana rhi ho
Naira: abhi massage toh ki
Kartik(showing his elbow): yaham bhi lagi thi

Naira couldn't help but smile at his actions. No doubt he was troubling her without a reason but still she was loving it. While kartik couldn't help but act as a stubborn kid. He knew she won't listen him unless he will act so. He too was loving their banter. Everyone in the family didn't disturbed them except for shubham who kept commenting to spice up their banter.

Naira: bas ho gya ab mai thak gyi hu kartik ab
Kartik: arrey ek aur jagah dard ho rhi hai
Naira: kahan
Kartik(taking her hand in his and keeping it on his heart): yahan
Naira: kyu
Kartik: meri biwi mujhe bhav hi nhi de rhi. Mai kabse ose kisi na kisi bahane se apne pass rokne ki koshish kar raha hu lekin voh hai ki bhav hi nhi de rhi

Naira gave him an impossible look while kartik gave her an innocent look. He did expected some comeback but she didn't.

Shubham: kya bhabhi aap kya has rhi bhaiya ki bato pe.
Naira: shubham tumhara bhai na mendhak hai sara din tar tar karta rehta. Ab mai kya karu
Shubham: lekin aap bhi toh sherni ho
Kartik(interrupting): kisne kaha sherni hai maine iska naam badal diya hai
Mansi: ab kya rakha
Kartik: yeh sherni nhi billi hai
Mansi: matlab
Kartik: matlab kittu ki kitty

Everyone who was silent brusted into a laughter while kartik just smiled. They were not reacting much to their conversation but couldn't hold themselves anymore. On the other hand, when kartik mentioned about billi she got lost in her thoughts. Kartik who noticed her lost shkaed her and asked what happened. She didn't reply but gave him a smile.

Kartik: kya hua
Naira(hugging him): you know what I love you so so much you are the best.

She kissed his cheeks and hugged him tightly. First all his cute efforts to make her rest and now the idea he gave her did let her hold herself and hugged him. Kartik was taken back.

Kartik: naira mujhe nhi pta tha tumhe yeh naam itna pasand hai.
Kartik: aaj se mai tumhe kitty hi bulaya karuga.

Naira didn't reply to him and excused herself to use washroom. While kartik who was sitting next to shubham continued.

Kartik: kya lagta yeh tufhaan aane k pehli ki shaanti hai ya koi aur karan hai
Shubham: mujhe kya pta apki biwi hai meri nhi
Kartik: yaar bhagwan na kare yeh phirse sherni ka roop lele. Mujhe kacha khaa jayegi

Later They all had their dinner silently without much interaction except for the light chit chat and KAIRA'S cute banter over what should naira eat. After having their dinner, they departed to their rooms and called it a night.

IN KAIRA'S ROOM

Naira was busy in her room lost in her thoughts. When kartik called her by saying billi she remembered when he mentioned earlier in the past that he loves to see his angry sherni instead of bheegi billi. That's it because of this now she knew what exactly she wanted to do now and knew whether she needed to except the deal or not. She know kabir is here just to torture her and make her weak. She also knew that she couldn't let him succeed in this. She wanted to accept the deal to show him his real place and show him what truly she can do.

Right now she was just waiting for Kartik to come as she wanted to inform him first. She know she couldn't keep this secret anymore. Although she thought she would not inform him now yet now she decided to inform him. She was in no mood to repeat her mistakes again and face the unwanted consequences as already she has a lot to deal with.

When kartik entered after talking to his father about something, he saw naira lost somewhere. He just sat next to her and kept quite unless she noticed his presence.

Naira: kartik tum kab aaye
Kartik: jab tum pta nhi kis k khayalo mei khoi hui thi
Naira: kartik mujhe tumhe kuch batana hai.
Kartik(joking): nhi mujhe koi shaunk hi hai janane ka ki tum kiske khayalo mei khoi ho
Naira: kartik plzz I am serious
Kartik: haa tum toh chahti ho mai jalu lekin mujhe nhi janana
Naira: kartik mai aaj kabir se mili
Kartik(shocked): whatt
Naira: voh mr. Batra ko kisi kaam se new york jana pad raha isliye voh project kabir ko handle karne k liye de rahe hai. Aaj isli meeting k liye bulaya tha mujhe k I am fine working with him or not.
Kartik: tumne mana kiya
Naira: nhi
Kartik(frustrated): There is no way that I am going to allow you working with that bastard naira. Never
Naira: kartik we can't back out. Humare aur investors dono ka bohat loss hoga. We can't afford that. Humara hota phir bhi theek hai lekin agar clients ka bhi hua toh yeh toh sahi nhi haina
Kartik: what do you mean by that naira?
Naira: Kartik I can understand your concern lekin meri ek baar baat toh suno
Kartik: es mei sunana kya hai
Naira: kartik kabir ne isliye yeh project liya k mai back out karu so that he can defame us.
Kartik: ose jo karna hai kare I don't care. The only thing I care about is you. Tumse jaruri aur kuch nhi hai
Naira: kartik vahi toh voh chahta k hum haar man le. We can't let him succeed.
Kartik: lekin
Naira(cupping his face): trust me I will handle this project and also him. Voh kuch nhi karega.
Kartik: tumhari jagah agar mai
Naira: kartik plz I want to fight on my own along with you. I know you are concerned and I appreciate it lekin plzz. Mai yeh sab akeli nhi karna chahti thi isliye maine tumhe bataya taki mai apni purani galti na dohrau. Tum hi batao agar mai tumhe na batakar khud apne aap handle karti tumhe acha lagta nhi na. Isliye mai chahti hum dono saath mei es deal ko handle kare na k akele.

After lots of efforts by Naira, Kartik at last agreed to let her work with kabir. He just hugged her seeing her so strong.  He was really didn't wanted her to work but somewhere he also knew that she was right in her place. They just cannot let him succeed in his intentions. No doubt he was still unsure about her plan but he was sure that he won't let her go alone with him. More than her he was scared but decided to not to show. He wanted to be her strength not weakness.

Naira was satisfied that at last he finally agreed. She knew he was just being protective towards her but she knew they will have to take a risk because she wanted to punish him so badly. She wasn't just looking forward for the deal but also to punish him for being a bastard. She no doubt was eager to show her real self to him and torture him. She also wanted to scare him as much as he scared her. She wanted him to be affected as much as she was affected.

Kartik(still hugging her): nairaa
Naira: hmm
Kartik: are you sure
Naira: I am 101% sure. Ab kitna time tum akele hi es sherni ka gussa dekhoge kisi aur ko bhi toh dikhana chahiye na.
Kartik: okay
Naira: but just promise me that you will ve there for me
Kartik: I promise that I will be there for you always

Kartik came out of the embrace and cupped her face. He gently kept his lips on her and kissed her. Naira also responded him back. The kiss was gentle and slow which resembled their trust and support for each. It resembled that they will be there for each other whenever the other wants. Kartik broke  the kiss and asked her to wait. Later he came back with some medicines for her. He made her sit on the bed and also seated himself next to her.

Kartik(making her eat the medicine): aur tabayat bhi isi k karan kharab hui thi na.
Naira: hmm
Kartik: aur phone
Naira: hmm
Kartik: mujhe laga hi tha koi aur baat hai
Naira: kartik apna phone do mai bata du that I am okay working with him.

First he made her eat the medicine and than gave her the phone to message. Once she was done they called it a night  waiting for a next day.

NEXT MORNING

Everyone was downstairs except Kartik who was still sleeping. Naira didn't wake him as she knew he will definitely not let her do anything except for sitting. She was in the living area serving tea to dadi when dadi asked her about Kartik.

Dadi: naira kittu kahan hai
Naira: dadi voh so raha hai. Aaj hume office toh jana hai nhi isliye mai socha sone deti hu
Dadi: lekin
Naira: dadi plz sone dijiya agar voh uth gya na voh bas mujhe tang karega. Na khud ose karna hai kuch aur na hi mujhe kuch karne dega.
Dadi: naira voh tumhe tang nhi karta sirf tumhare liye concerned tha.
Naira: dadi mera matlab
Dadi(cutting her): kittu vahan tumhare liye pareshaan ho raha tha aur tum yahan keh rhi voh tumhe taang kar raha hai.
Naira: dadi lekin maine
Dadi: hum samjhate hai tum dono k beech ki baat hai lekin tum dono abhi bhi bacho jaise ladhte rehte ho. Akhir tum hi thodi samajdhari dikhao aur soch samaj kar bola karo.
Naira: sorry dadi

Dadi wanted to say this to naira since long back but didn't got a chance. She was really getting pissed how Kartik's life revolves around her. According to her, it was just Kartik who was madly in love while naira was just conscious about her work and her ownself. Naira felt bad but didn't say anything as she had already so many things going in her mind. Gayu was also present there listening to there conversations she was somewhere enlightened listening to dadi's words as she thought that at least someone is still there to control naira. Naira was about to leave when Kartik came downstairs.
